CHAPTER 1
First, you need to know how things roll around here. Read the rules! And don’t think you can get away with not reading them! Hidden in the rules is the password you need to access the application boards. To read the rules click .:Here:..
CHAPTER 2
Crimson Kiss is an original vampire, human, and werewolf RPG set in modern times in various places in the world. We're very free form, and board-wide plots are scarce. Humans have no obvious knowledge of the other creatures that walk along besides them. Vampires and werewolves, traditionally, have a resentment against each other - however, it's based on an individual basis, mostly. In the world of the supernatural, it's not hard to get caught up in the inter-species drama, and those within your own. Not having to obey the laws of the humans has it's perks, and extreme measures are taken to settle disputes.. obviously. The life of the vampires and werewolves involves their own social ladders and circles that humans are unaware of until perhaps they glimpse it for themselves.
CHAPTER 3
A message to new members:
Do NOT under any circumstances plagiarize a book series when filling out an application, mainly the Twilight series and True Blood. This RPG is my original creation and is not, in any way, based off any series.
I did take a few of the powers for vampires and werewolves from multiple series, but that is it. From now on, I will not even read your application but simply delete it if there is even a minuscule hint that it has anything to do with a vampire or werewolf book series.
Filling out an application:
- Post in THIRD PERSON! I can’t tell you how many applications I’ve denied because they were posted in first person.
- Make sure you write at least four paragraphs minimum for the history. Any shorter and it will be denied
- Fill out the application to it’s entirety! Fill in everything. It won’t be looked at if there’s stuff missing.
-Use the code. It your application is not in the proper format, it will not be read.
- Use proper grammar! Don’t be lazy, use the spell check! English is my first language so let’s keep it in that. It’s hard to read whenyoutypelikethis. It also gets annoying when you dont use periods and then dont capalize i mean its not that difficult and run ons tend to be hard to read cuz i dont know what youre talking about and when you don use the rght punctuation and spelling then someties i have know idea what youre trying to say kinda like this if you can read this and not get a headache then you must be some sorta superperson cuz i know i cant stand this!!!!111!!!!!
But seriously guys. Use correct spelling, don’t use IM talk, and use these cool gadgets called the period and comma, you and me will have a great relationship.
CHAPTER 4
Vampires can only die via sunlight, fire or a lethal attack from a werewolf. They have super strength, speeds up to 70MPH, sensitive hearing (reasonably! Like whispers from a few feet away, things from a far distance - but not miles), sensitive smell and fast healing powers depending on the amigo inflicted. Obviously a larger, deeper, more grotesque wound is going to take a little while to heal, whereas a clean bone break might take about fifteen minutes. If a vampire has suffered a minor burn from fire or sunlight or has been bitten not lethally by a werewolf, it will take longer to heal than a normal wound, more around your average human healing time. Blood helps speed up all healing process.
A vampire can essentially loose too much blood, depending on the wound, and pass out and go into a comatose state. This renders them virtually helpless, since anything can be done with their body. But, as stated, it would have to be a gigantic wound that receives zero attention for this vast amount of blood loss to occur. With proper mending of the wound and forced blood sustenance, the vampire will be fine again.
If a vampire is decapitated, you're put in a predicament much like the one in the above paragraph. The vampire is very capable of loosing a lot of blood. Honestly, if it's an enemy that's got your head - you're in some deep trouble. No, the vampire isn't dead, but the head needs to be surgically reunited with the body, otherwise, in time, both parts will fall into a comatose state. Not to mention both are left vulnerable to whomever has them captive. The vampire is pretty much as good as dead, at this point - unless they've got some sort of miracle up their sleeve..
Vampires don't feel pain as a human or werewolf do. It's rather dulled, but still there. They're able to brush off petty things like small, long range bullets or cuts. Fire and sunlight definitely hurts. They can feel harsh stabs and bites from werewolves, as well as their powerful claws.
Vampires can twist a human's mind to make them think things. They cannot tell what the human is thinking.
They are not affected by any drugs or alcoholic substances. There is no such thing in existence that can get them intoxicated or high. Feeding from an addict or drunk human has no special effect on them. They can still drink and smoke for the taste or habit, but it doesn't effect them.
Vampires can show others their past by allowing them to drink their own blood. The receiver of the memories must be willing (no god-modding) and healthy. A vampire can specifically choose which memory to show the receiver so they don't have to go through their whole past.
WEREWOLVES
Werewolves must shift into their wolf form on full moon nights. Their wolf form is not that of a monster-like werewolf, but a normal wolf, only larger than average - depending on the age and build of the werewolf him/herself. On full moons they are essentially a wild animal and have no control of their actions. After their first transformation they can shift willingly whenever the please and have full control over their wolf form. When they change back to a human, they are naked.
When they shift, essentially, the sort of 'poof' or shrink into their wolf form - no painful, grotesque, bone crunching transformation.
Werewolves can turn humans into werewolves with a nonlethal bite. Humans change for the first time in the next full moon following their bite.
They can kill vampires with a lethal bite. (I.E. Ripping their throat out, clawing open their torso and biting around with their entrails, etc etc.) Their venom is lethal to vampires. A minor bite inflicted on a vampire will only take longer to heal.
Werewolves have super strength like vampires, sensitive hearing, superior eye-sight, super speed (about 80-90MPH) and lethal claws and teeth. They also have superior senses in human form, but not as well as in their wolf form. They die and age just as any other human, but are of course harder to kill. Their morality is just the same as a human's, any sort of weapon or gun can kill them. Bullets can be lead.. no need to be silver.
Many choose to live in packs, however, it's not a requirement.
CHAPTER 5
How does a human become a vampire or werewolf? Well let’s find out.
Human to vampire:
- Vampire bites human
- Vampire must let human drink from his or her blood (from the vampire's wrist)
- The change is very painful, since the mortal body is dying from the venom from the vampire's fangs
- In three days, presto! Human is a vampire!
Human to werewolf:
- Crazy wild wolf (or aware werewolf in wolf form) bites human on any night.
- Human starts noticing heightened senses just before the nearest fool moon comes around.
- Human transforms for the first time during that full moon.
- They can willingly change anytime after that first fool moon passes.
And to answer your question, no. There are no half vampire half werewolf (or half anything else, for that matter) hybrid’s on this RPG.
Q: What do I do once my human character has been turned into a vampire or werewolf?
A: You PM an admin or other staff member stating you need a change in user group and application move. It might be helpful or beneficial to update your application history also - but it's not necessary.
CHAPTER 6
