"Come on! Come on! We don't have much time! Rose Decumbry will be here any minute! We need this place sparkling, and we need everyone dressed appropriately. This could be our big break people." He knew everyone was excited. They have been talking about a commercial for weeks now, and they finally got the model to do it. Everyone knew how important this was, and because they liked their job, they weren't gonna risk it. Victor treated them well and made sure everyone was happy, and in return he got the respect of all his employees. As he walked around the bar, making sure everything was okay, he couldn't help but wonder what was going on through everyones mind. He would have to call a meeting to address all their fears. "I like the bar. Nice job Rachel! Joe, Sal.. Great job on the floor. Randy, like the effort." He walked around doing that... complimenting everyone on the job they were doing. Everyone needed a boost. Today was gonna be a long rough day. All of a sudden his phone rang. "Hello?" "Vic. Her plane just landed. I'm waiting to pick her." "Good Job Tyler. Just treat her like you would any other VIP." "Not my first rodeo." "Take Care." He snapped his phone shut, and turned around to address everyone. "Listen up people! Our star just landed. We need to double time it. If any one of you has any concerns, please, don't hesitate to talk to me! It's our first time to have a VIP here, so let's make the best of it. Remember, treat her with the utmost respect... but never forget, we do have other customers in the bar. Treat them as well. Okay? I'll take care of Ms. Decumbry. The rest of you just follow my league. As always, I'm proud of you all. Keep up the good work." A cheer echoed through the bar breifly, and then all was back to work "Let's get the show started!"

Oh this was not good. This was so not good. Ali was pacing back and forth furiously and nibbling on her thumb nail. Something she did on rare occasions where she was nervous out of her mind. She had just found Rose was going to be in Vegas. And not just IN Vegas....At Vics bar! Oh this was not good. There was no way for Rose to know it was him..But then again, Rose was very smart. She would figure it out. She would see that he was a werewolf and his name was Victor. How many werewolves named Victor live in Las Vegas? Thats right..One. So this wasnt going to go well. She knew how Rose felt about relationships with werewolves and vampires. Rose hadnt even liked Stephan. There was no way in hell she was going to like Vic. No matter how civil and charming he was.
Her cousin was one of the people she loved more then anything in this world. She would do anything for Rose. But she had to protect them both. If a fight started..oh god. The only hope she had would be that Rose was civil because she was there for work. And not going there just because she felt like it. But what rotten luck! Of course it would have to be a bar right? And not just anyyyy ole bar. Vics bar! Yeah, her luck was really rotten. But she should have expected this. Eventually Rose was going to have to meet him. But why today?! Couldnt she get him ready for it...Or more or less herself? And warn Rose as well? By this point, her pacing was faster and she was wearing a small line into the carpet of the home she and Vic were staying at. She needed to think of plan. Any plan.
Then her gaze lifted to the TV that was on and had been the thing to announce to her that Rose was coming. She had been in the kitchen looking for something to nibble on when the news came on to announce their 'good fortune.' Hell, Rose was more popular then the president. And already she was positive people would be flooding to that bar. It would be a hell zone. She had landed already though. Thats the new footage they were showing. "Crap. CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP!" She yelled and picked up a pillow and tossed it into the wall with as much force as she could. Which made the pillow burst even though it was soft. Then an idea presented itself. Call him! She needed to call him. Without a second thought in mind, she raced to her room to grab her phone. The one that had everyone she held dears numbers. But Vic was on speed dial.
Her fingers dialed out the number however, because she was that nervous. She was going to try and stop them from meeting as best as she could. This wasnt the time or place for it. Rose had only just recently found out she was dating Vic. Let alone dating at all. That had been on interesting phone call. And text messages. She could even call Rose if she had to. But her main goal was get to Vic. She could keep HIM away from Rose. "Come on...Pick up. Pick up. Please pick up. Pick up your damn phone Vic!" She mumbled to herself as the phone started to ring. Here we go...The moment of truth...Would he pick up? Or would he let it ring and her plan would end up failing? She didnt know..But she was hoping he would pick up and save her from having to go to drastic measures.

Ugh. Where was her ride? Late, and she was swamped by the paparazzi. It's alright, just make sure none of them fall and get hurt. Good, smile nicely for the photo's they want to take. Good girl. She took out a cigarette and lit it, just to irritate them. "Rose, how excited are you to do the shoot? How was your flight?" She chuckled a little bit, and flipped her darkened hair, over her shoulder.
"I'm stoked. I've known Victor for a while, and can't wait to talk to him again. My flight was good, thanks." Lies. Well, the first one was anyways. She had no idea how he got her, but she had to promote a drink, and it just so happened to be getting shot at his club.
And all she did was smile pretty, say how great the product was, take a drink, and get paid.
Her job mostly.
Ugh. Where was that damned man at?! Her eyes flashed a red, and she looked down, calming herself. She took a breath, and looked up smiling. "Can you say hello to TMZ?" A camera got right up in her face asking. Rose looked like she was a deer in headlights.
But her composure regained. She smiled, and took a drag on her cigarette. "Hi there TMZ, what's up?" She blew a puff of smoke out through her lips, smiling. Her smile was slightly genuine.
She did love teasing.
Her eyes flicked up toward the road as the limo pulled up.
Finally. She blew a kiss to the camera's and waved goodbye. The man walked up, opened her door and closed it. She wouldn't yell at him. Not verbally anyways. She'd did it mentally. She tapped to some people on her phone, enjoying the quiet ride to the bar.
The only off part was that he had been late.
The flight was luxurious, as usual. The other passengers didn't bother her. She was used to the pestering camera's by now. So of course she wasn't bothered at all. She looked out the window, watching her clothes catch the reflection like stars.
The smell of werewolf was getting closer. Her back stiffened on the seat.
They pulled up into the bar parking lot and Rose sighed. Seems like the team was already there.
Tyler walked past and opened her door, and she slipped him a 50. "Even though you were late Tyler, you got me here in one piece."
She looked at the bar, it seemed..empty. Oh right. Of course it was, she was here.
She chided herself.
Rose stepped up the stairs in her Christian Louboutin's and opened the door. Yes, everyone was already ready, just waiting on her arrival.
She went to look for the owner.

Victor had the TV on and he finally glimpsed on the famous Rose Decumbry. She was there, and there was no Tyler in sight. ’If I get my hands around his neck, it will be the last thing he will ever see. I told him be there sharp! On time! Punctual! SHARP! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! SHARP!’ He put his hands on his temples and massaged them. He didn’t need a slip up. She was supposed to be out of there the second she landed. Where was Tyler? A sigh escaped him, and he was starting to stress a little, but he put a pin in it. For all he knew, she would push that aside and be okay. He focused on calming himself down… lowering his heart rate and relaxing his muscles… massaging certain nerve endings to help the process… He didn’t need the stress affecting him when Rose get’s here. He needed to be on his best and stable behavior… and stress wasn’t gonna help… and neither would worrying about shit that hasn’t happened yet… "I'm stoked. I've known Victor for a while, and can't wait to talk to him again. My flight was good, thanks." Huh? What? He looked around the bar and everyone was looking at him. He could see everyone was curious how Victor Morte Ambrose, a local bartender who hasn’t been outside the US boarders, except for once, knew the famous Rose Decumbry, who lived in England and probably traveled a lot. The chances of him knowing her is very slim, and the fact that he ran into her phone number when trying to find people for the advertisement on the internet was a complete accident. All he knew was that her name was Rose Decumbry and she was popular in England. She wasn’t his first choice, but she was the only person who accepted the offer. He offered to pay for her flight, get her a limo, a hotel if needed, and any other expenses. All expenses paid… Victor used his own money to pay for that… He didn’t want to waste the bars money. They needed that money for other things, like upgrades, repairs, inventory, taxes, mortgage and rent, and other costly expenses of their own. Sure, Victor may have added a couple of Zeros to his account with the help of his former skills, but it was for a good cause… And he wasn’t about to put his employees in danger for something he was about to do… The truth was the bar needed this advertisement badly. He just got the place renovated and updated about three months back. Complications kept arising, which lead to the massive fees that didn’t really help business and kept delaying the opening date. People started to forget about the bar, and because of that, business plummeted. Now, with this advertisement, things should get better… ’I Hope…’ ” Oh girls these nights are dull I wish that I could spend them with you I'm looking at this wall Repeating girl I love you…” He reached into his pocket and flipped his phone without even looking at the number or name… There was only one person on his phone with that ring tone… ”Hey Ali! What’s up?!” ”Pick up your damn phone Vic!" ”Is everything okay? Is something wrong?” Just as he said that, Rose walked into his bar… ”Oh shit! Hey Baby… I’ll have to call you back. Rose Decumbry just walked in. Need to be Mr. Host now. I’ll call you as soon as I can. Bye Ali. Love you.” With that, he blew her a kiss, flipped his phone shut, and walked toward his guest. ”Ms. Decumbry. Welcome to my bar. I’m Victor Ambrose, at your service.” He did a slight bow as a sign of respect to his new guest. ”I hope everything was to your liking, and if not, I apologize for any inconvenience. If there is anything I can do for you, please do not hesitate to call me over. Take my card, please.” With a small sleight of hand, he flipped his wrist and popped a card out of thin air. He then handed her his card. ”Your table is ready, if you wish to sit now. We also saved you a room in the back, in case you felt like changing into something else. We have a suite booked for you in a hotel nearby. Five stars and all. If I have forgotten anything at all, you have my number on the card. I need to go and take care of some small and quick business, and I will be with you shortly. My lovely assistant Rachel will show you to your table or the back for you to change. Excuse me.” Again, with a slight bow, he walked away slowly and gracefully as he could. ’Way to go Casanova! You just couldn’t stop talking for a second, could you! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! You can’t do anything about it now… Just go see how the inventory is doing. You need to make sure they got everything right! No slip ups! No mistakes! Hopefully nothing goes wrong today.’

Now there really was a line in the carpet from her pacing. She was so anxious and scared out of her mind to get ahold of one of them! At least one of them!! She was trying Vic right now and munching on her thumb nail again. There was barely any nail left. But then she heard a beautiful thing. Vics voice. She was stunned for only a moment by it. She loved his voice. She really did. But she was on a mission right now and couldnt afford to be side tracked. "Vic?! Oh my god! Vic you need to-" But she was cut off as he started talking and then said that Rose had arrived at the bar. Her eyes widened and she let out a whimper. Oh this wasnt good. "Wait! Vic n-" But he had already hung up. She held the phone in her hand for a few moments, calming her temper down and taking deep breaths. She didnt need to break the phone.
"Damn it!" She yelled loudly and then glared at the outside window as dogs started barking. But before she did anything else she texted Rose. Maybe she could convince Rose to not go there. Maybe skip the shoot? Sure she would have to explain to Vic later, but she was trying to keep him safe! There was no way to know what Rose would do. As she was waiting for a reply she chewed on her bottom lip and came to a conclusion. She was going down there and stealing Vic if she had to. There was no way in hell she was going to just let him stay there with Rose. This couldnt end well. As she ran around the house trying to find her shoes she continued to text Rose. But that damn girl was stubborn as hell and refused to quit the shoot. In fact, she caught on to something Ali had totally forgotten. Her scent would be all over Vic.
When Rose said that Vic smelt like her, she raced out the door without her shoes, screwing it over and then groaned as she noticed the streets were packed tonight. "Why!?" She yelled to the sky and then looked around. She really didnt want to do this..But she had no choice. Noticing a car that was for sale near the side of the road she took out her debit card and bought it. With a weary glance at the thing she went over to the drivers side and got in. Starting the car, she whimpered and then took in a deep breath. "Please dont let me crash. Please dont let me crash. Please dont let me crash!" She yelled as she pushed on the gas and yelped in surprise as the car lurched forward. Her eyes closed for a brief moment until she remembered that she needed to keep them open.
The car zipped through the traffic with lightnening speed and she was glad about that. Because she didnt have much time. In fact, Rose had already figured it out. She had left her a very loud message on her phone that would probably make her deaf in her left ear for the rest of eternity. But a determined Ali wasnt one you messed with. The bar was just around the corner and so far she had survived the ride. Even though her hands were clenched tightly around the steering wheel and her knuckles looked even whiter if that was possible. Her face was drained of all color besides her normal pale conplexion and it was obvious that she was scared out of her mind. But as she took the corner she saw the bar and then tried to find somewhere to park. In that one split moment she looked away she didnt control the car and it crashed into another one that was parked right in front of the bar.
"Ah!" She yelped as another car pummeled into the side of hers and made her car skid a few feet. Her hands were shaking now and she whimpered once more and then got the hell out of that car. She hopped up on to the sidewalk and she winced. It was bad. It was really bad. She would have to pay for that. But later. She had more important matters. So she turned and headed for the bar. "So much for my first time driving.." She muttered and then pulled back the door for the bar and walked in.

Flashback
Rose had just walked into the bar, scanning it for only a brief moment. She needed to find the owner. 'Vic'. She got the end of her phone conversation, 'love you.' Her eyberows perched, nice to know he had a life outside of a bar.
She caught a whiff of him from his movements, and he smelled a little bit like flowers. A less fragrent smell of her own. Only her family had that smell..
Strange.
When he started talking, the scent became more distinguished. Her eyes darkened in blue, almost becoming a deep blue. She was going to go in and do the celebrity kiss the cheek thing, but revolted politely back when he got his full on scent. Werewolf. And Ali. Her jaw dropped but she snapped it shut.
Her eyes must have been reddening because she felt her demon rising.
Clenching her small fists together, the leftover blood draining like a puddle, her jaw twitching viciously. She nudged her anger aside, and thanked Victor.
When he walked away, she let out a strangled noise. She wanted to bit that man and kill him! He was dating her cousin! A vampire and werewolf intermixing! She let out a very noteable growl. Sucking uneeded air in, she threw her hands up, took her phone and dialed Ali's number.
Speedial bitch. End
Leaving a very angry, and very loud voicemail, the makeup crew went to work. She kept fidgeting, and her eyes kept changing color.
Of course the crew noticed. They kept asking her in the nicest way possible to stay still.
"I want to talk to Victor right this fucking minute!" She yelled, but not loud enough to damage ear drums like she had Ali's. She let out another strangled noise.
Why hadn't Ali told her?! Why was she dating a werewolf?! She heard about Stephan, sent her grief. But she could have guessed what had happened. But Ali moved on that fast? It took Rose almost an entire year to get over..no. Not going there.
She sat there in the makeup and hair chair, fidgeting like crazy. Damn. Fuck. Why hadn't she told her?! As the people were applying makeup on her lower eyelid, and putting her hairs up in colors, she asked a simple question.
"Wouldn't you want a close friend or family to tell if you if they were dating someone you didn't approve of?!"
Strangled noise.
They all nodded meekly in agreement.
A car pulled up, and nearly crashed itself to hell. "I thought there wasn't supposed to be anyone attending but the people who should be?" She asked in brutal annoyance.
Her eyes were breaching a bright red, and she closed them as they went to apply eyeshadow.
The smell of Ali hit her. Ali herself. "God, I swear if that's her..I'm going to flip!"
Her british tone was of clear madness. Why?! WHY?!

A loud sound came from the streets in front of the bar. Sounded like two cars crashing. Victor had to be sure that everyone was okay… and then when that was taken care of, he would have to find a way to make it seem like this didn’t happen every day in front of his bar. Would you come to a bar that was accident prone? I’d think not. ’For the love of GOD! I swear, today is like a new bad luck day… like Friday the Thirteenth!’ He sighed and excused himself from the inventory room. He took the back exit and walked to the front. He saw where the accident took place… and it wasn’t where he wanted it to happen. ’Why So Close?! No! No No No!!! Gah! Guess it’s time to pull out my cards and shit.’ He walked towards the cars and made sure everyone was okay. One car was empty and the driver was nowhere in sight… but the scent… No… It couldn’t be… It’s impossible! Victor didn’t feel comfortable right now. Things were going bad way to fast. He loosened his tie and ran to the driver of the other vehicle. ”Hey! Are you okay?! You sure?! Good. Look, here is my insurance card and here is my business card. If we can discuss this another time, I’m sure we can work something out. I’ll pay for all the damages and the replacement car for you. Just relax, take it easy. I have something to take care of right now… but I’ll be back.” Victor wasn’t in the circus, but he sure knew how to juggle… He took the other guys cards, and ran back in. He tightened his tie, and went to find Ali but stopped when he heard Rose yell. "I want to talk to Victor right this fucking minute!" He stopped dead in his tracks, and walked the other direction. ‘Great! What else could go wrong?! I do not need this mess today!’ He paced faster and faster until he started jogging. Her room wasn’t far, but he didn’t want to keep his VIP waiting. He saw Rachel outside, frightened as hell, and he heard Rose ask the staff inside a question. "Wouldn't you want a close friend or family to tell if you if they were dating someone you didn't approve of?! "I thought there wasn't supposed to be anyone attending but the people who should be?" He mouthed the words “We’ll talk later… Don’t worry.” to Rachel, and walked in. ”There isn’t anyone else attending. It was just a car accident in front of the bar. It’s no big deal. Everything is taken care of. Anyway, you called for me?” He motioned the rest of the crew outside… for their safety. He could see there was something in her eyes… It was cold… He could tell she was a Vampire from the moment she walked into the bar, but the look in her eyes wasn’t the typical blood lust… It was like she wanted to kill someone because he or she angered her. He disguised his fear for his staff by asking a question he wouldn’t want anyone to hear but himself. ”Did one of the staff anger you? Is something not you your liking? If you want, we can postpone the shoot for tomorrow. I have no problem reserving the room and rescheduling your ticket. I can set up a day in the spa if you wish?” As long as she wasn’t going to start ripping heads, he would be okay. He just didn’t want anyone hurt… It wouldn’t look good if he had to hold down a VIP. That and he wanted to get out of here as soon as possible to ask Ali what the hell she was doing behind the wheel of a strange car?! Not to mention he had to find a way to talk to the guy outside before he made a big deal, ruin his bar, and worse… do something to Ali… He pushed those thoughts to the deepest corner of his head and tried not to think about anything negative right now. One thing at a time, and that would be this VIP Vampire who could be triggered just like that. ’This is gonna be a long, very long day.’

Looking around the bar she was a little lost. She had never been in here before and it was showing. Her eyes looked almost like a dear in the headlights. But then again...she had just gotten into a car accident. No one walked away from that without being a little shooken up. Her hands were shaking and her face was more pale then normal. But she composed herself and looked around the place for Vic. He had to be here! Where though...was another story. There wasnt very many people around, in fact, only some hired actors she believed and the staff. Her gaze brushed over all the members in the bar and she didnt see either one. Not Rose or Vic. Then she realized she may not see Rose, but she could hear her cousin yelling a little ways off. She shook her head and grimaced. That was not one meeting she wanted.
So she took a smart route and went up to the different members and asked where Vic was. Almost all of them told her she needed to get out of there and that Vic was busy. "No! I want to see him now damn it!" And as those words left her mouth she looked behind her shoulder and saw him coming back in from the outside. Oh crap. He must have heard the accident. And of course, being the gentlemen, he went to make sure people were okay. Also more then likely pay for the damage. She would need to speak with him on that as well later. But for now, she cut across the bar to try and get to him before he went to the source of all the yelling. Which he was getting closer and closer to. Her mind was racing and she was tempted to use her vampire speed but that would freak out the humans. And did they even realize they were all in danger?
But Vic beat her to the door. He went in and her eyes widened in horror. Rose's eyes were red and that was never a good sign. That meant her temper was off the hook. All of this was her fault and she couldnt help but feel guilty. This was horrible. But she was going to fix it. No problem couldnt be fixed, so with a determined look she tried to walk into the room but was held back by a girl. She didnt know the girls name but she growled slightly in frustration. "Please...I need to get in there to see Vic. Its urgent." The lady just gave her a bored stare and then started to push her away. "What? No! Vic!! Victor Ambrose GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE NOW!" She yelled loudly enough for both Rose and Vic to hear. She had a pair of lungs when she wanted to. And right now, she was panicked. This was sure to get his attention.

She heard Ali on the other end, and dismissed the rest of the crew. She didn't want anyone to see her blow her top off more than she already had. As soon as Victor walked in she flew off her chair, cloth still covering her front side. "You!" Her roar was vicious. She poked him hard in the center of the chest. "Your the one dating my little cousin?! MY BEST FRIEND?!" Her growl was extremely loud, deep, and animalistic. "Why didn't she tell me!? Your the one she supposedly says she loves too! Doesn't it ever cross your mind that you should let her cousin know?!"
Her grip went to his collar. "Ali I'm talking to your little hubby right now!" A whisper of a demon's breath crossed her lips. Her crimson eyes shot back to Victor. "Say. How is she? Is she everything you'd ever want in a bloodsucker?!" She picked him up pushing him against the wall, her vampire strength showing through, emitting from her body. The aura she had flowing around her, was enough to make a physic faint.
"Tell me Vic. Could you deal with her when she's like me? When she's a demanding, arrogant bitch? Could you put up with her, I don't think so. Because your doing a horrible job of putting up with ME!" She could so easily rawly chew out his jugular now, swallow it, fill her stomach for an eternity. Why? She'd have the pride of saying she ate wolf. Her dark lined eyes, pierced his blue and green ones. "You have no idea, what the hell your getting yourself into!" She lifted him up off the wall and pushed him against it again.
Twice as hard.
"If you think Ali's meltdown's are bad..oh,"She chuckled, a cannibalistic sound rising in her voice. "Your gonna have fun trying to calm me down." With that she threw him down onto the floor, locking the door. Tsk Tsk.
"Werewolfs should always be careful around vampire bats..anyone tell you that lately?"

"You! You’re the one dating my little cousin?! MY BEST FRIEND?! Why didn't she tell me!? You’re the one she supposedly says she loves too! Doesn't it ever cross your mind that you should let her cousin know?!" He felt her poke him in the center of his chest, and he thought her finger would go through him like a harpoon.” ”Whoa Whoa! What? What are you talking abo… Wait a second? You’re THE Rose! You’re the one…” "What? No! Vic!! Victor Ambrose GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE NOW!" ”It’s okay Rachel, she can pa… AK!!!” Before he could finish that sentence, Roses hands were around his throat. "Ali I'm talking to your little hubby right now! …Say. How is she? Is she everything you'd ever want in a bloodsucker?!" He tried to get his two cents in, but her grip was fierce… He could hardly breath… It was just all too fast. "Tell me Vic. Could you deal with her when she's like me? When she's a demanding, arrogant bitch? Could you put up with her, I don't think so. Because you’re doing a horrible job of putting up with ME! You have no idea, what the hell your getting yourself into!" She then rammed him into the wall against a second wall… more forcefully. It felt like being hit by a semi-truck. "If you think Ali's meltdown's are bad… oh, you’re gonna have fun trying to calm me down… Werewolfs should always be careful around vampire bats..anyone tell you that lately?" When she let him go, he coughed and breathed. “Look! I don’t know what you think I am doing or how I treat Ali, but I assure you, I mean her no harm. And as for dealing with you, I didn’t do anything to make you feel like I mistreated you in any way. Ali is fine, and she is perfectly okay. I have been taking care of her ever since she came into Vegas. I gave her a place to stay and I take her where ever she wants to go, and I don’t try to force her to do anything she doesn’t want to do. I have been nothing but good to her, and I have been nothing but good and generous to you. Please, let’s just calm down and talk through it… Okay?” He could tell all that he she won’t relax or do anything to make her feel that she can trust him. But he had to try. There was nothing else he could do. The worst part was that if he couldn’t calm her down soon, Ali would barge in and do anything to stop her. He would probably do something to stop both Rose and Ali from hurting each other. ”God Help Me!”

This stupid human girl was holding her back still. And Ali being the gentle creature she was, didnt want to hurt her. She refused to use force to get by her if she didnt have to use it. But her chocolate colored eyes snapped up to the door as she heard Rose screech at him about him being the one to date her. Oh this was not good. She fought a little harder against the girl and then she heard Vics voice come from behind the door. Rachel. So this girls name was Rachel. "Please Rachel, its urgent, let me pass." She was positive that Rachel had only heard part of his words. And not the last part where he was slammed into a wall. She had to get in there! She had t stop Rose from hurting him. And hurting herself as well. And this was really a weird sense of deja vu.
All of this reminded her of Russia. When she had run just for the hell of it. For a reason she still didnt understand. Rose and Stephan had come after her, but she had unleashed the beast inside Rose that had been hiding dormant. She had taken one hell of a beating that day. Along with Stephan. And in the end, she had thought she had lost Rose forever. No matter what Rose did or said or how many times she got hurt by Roses hand there was one clear fact that came into view when she thought she was dead. She couldnt live without Rose. She couldnt imagine a world without that spunky little cousin of hers. And she also knew that she couldnt live without Vic. Not when she finally had figured things out and was going to have a new start. A better start. This could not be happening.
So with a determined look in her eyes she gave Rachel a sweet look. "You WILL let me pass. Dont make me hurt you little girl." She threatened. And her tone must have been enough because the girl backed away from her frightened and Ali passed her and went to the door. But just as she suspected, as she turned the knob it was locked. She could hear Vic trying to talk with Rose. That was a big fat waste of time. Rose wasnt going to calm down. And that might mean she could kill Vic. And Ali wasnt going to let that happen. She pounded on the door with a fist and growled under her breath. "Open this door Rose! Right now!" Her voice was to low for the humans in the bar to hear her, but she knew Rose would. One of the good advantages of vampire hearing.
But she knew deep down that Rose wouldnt open the door. So she reached into her back pocket and pulled out a bobby pin. She always had it on her. It was one of those things that never left her person, just like the locket around her neck that was tucked under her shirt. She was a master of hiding. Of being able to sneak in and back out without being seen or heard or even sensed. She could get through any locked door and window. And she was very quiet on her feet when she wanted to be. She just not to be most times. This time though, she went to work, jamming the bobby pin into the lock and leaning down slightly so she could hear the clicks of the lock and make sure the pin was aligning them up and lifting them so the lock would pop open. And within seconds her work was done. The lock clicked and the door opened slightly.
Taking her one and only chance, she shoved the pin back into her pants pocket and then drifted into the room and closed the door behind her, locking it once more. Her eyes never left the scene before her though. Vic on the floor and Rose standing there with murder in her eyes. She swallowed and then with vampire speed she went in front of Vic and crouched down in front of him in a protective stance. A small growl was coming from deep in her throat. "Rose....back down. I wont let you hurt him. And Im not going to let you get hurt either. Please try to understand. Calm down and we can talk about this." She knew this wasnt going to work, but she could try and it would also help her see how much rage was going through her cousins system. And how much this was going to hurt if it turned into a fight.
Her stance remained the same though. Legs bent, ready to spring if she needed to. Her fingertips were touching the floor between her legs, just only barely so she could move faster, and her shoulders were hunched like she was already coiled to spring into an attack. Her dark hair was flowing down her back but some of it was in her eyes. It didnt matter though. The bright crimson color was shining through. She looked like the predator she was made to be. Deadly, precise, agile, and beautiful in her lethal pose. The stance was one of protection. She was watching Rose's every move and Vic was safe behind her. This was like a mother lion protecting her cubs. Ali wouldnt back down if it meant life or death for Vic. And she was positive Rose would see that in her eyes.
Not only was she paying attention to Rose though. She was making sure Vic was okay. Listening to his breathing and seeing if he moved. Movement wouldnt help. She prayed he would stay on the floor and let her handle this. Rose hardly had a match to her in a fight. But deep down, they both knew that the only match for their family..was another family member. Meaning, Rose's only possible match, was Ali herself and her sister Katra. But Ali wasnt violent and so Rose had the upper hand on that. But Vics sweet scent calmed her nerves. Made her focus. His scent clung to her like it had been for a few days now and she took a small breath in. He smelt like apple cinnamon to her. Warm and loving. Did he even realize he smelt that way? Well, to her at least. His scent could be different for others.
Her own scent was floral. Like small wild flowers. It was unique only to her family. Rose, Kat and her. A small smile went across her lips. No matter what happened, Rose and her would always still be family. And they could never intentionally kill each other.

She heard Ali's voice. Heard the lock picking. A loud snarl reached up her throat, echoing throughout the room. How could she come in here, and pretend like it was a talkable situation?! She let out another strangled noise, why couldn't she just call her and let herk now damnit?! This could have been avoided!
It was Moscow all over again.
With a different man though.
Ali would get in the way of her. Get in the way of needing what she needed to do. Maybe the building might even get lit on fire again? Her already red eyes flashed with fire. The burns she suffered. Damn her demon for leaving her the moment the building had came down. Saving Ali and Stephan, leaving her body. To suffer. Hell. The burns and the skin ruined due to those vicious burns. She was surprised that she hadn't even been killed by it. She was lucky, she had wood fall on her first. Whether that stopped or speeded up the process, she couldn't tell.
Her mind flashed back.
The smell of smoke had filled her lungs, and she had to get it out. It burned. Worse then the smoke she usually smoked. Face down, the smell of burning. Wood. Flesh. Ali. Face down on the wooden floor, the top floor ontop of her, cuts and gashes that would take more than a couple of hours to heal. Her face was hurting, something probbing in her face. Rose couldn't feel from her legs down, and felt something wrong. The voices of Ali and Stephan reached her ears, and she tried to call out for help. But their voices became more and more distant. "No.." Her voice croaked, and she spit out a puff of smoke.
I'm going to die here. She thought.
Her blue eyes faced the gritty dirt, and the heat seemed to increase. Her body hurt all over, stung, burned. Duh. Because she was currently covered in burns. The crackling of the fire had been moving closer to her ear, and she knew she was done for. The fire would engulf her. Rose felt too weak to do anything. Her body felt numb.
Not there.
The blood trickling down her body. It stung when it reached the gun powder. Was it really her own blood?
Or was it someone elses?
"Help.."
She cried out, her crooked voice sounding like someone had cut her supply off.
"Hello? Is anyone there?!" A strong, broad voice rang out.
Was it the fireman? A hero?
"Help.."
She sounded like a broken record. That was all she could say. Help. Help. Help. Help. That was what she needed.
"We got somebody down here! Get help!" The voice yelled. The voice was deep, thick, strong.
He would save her, wouldn't he?
"Help..."
The sounds of footsteps started to come towards her, she felt the pulse in her flesh. Her bare, pink flesh. It made her want to vomit. The fire reached the back of her leg. "It burns! Get it off of me! Get it off! It's burning me!" She screamed, trying to fight it off, but it was useless. She only burned her hands worse. "Get it off!" Her voice was still cracking. "Get it off!" How she survived this long in a fire, she had no idea.
The pain was lifted, but the damage done. "Come on! She's burned badly." Face down she couldn't tell where they were. What? No. She was supposed to die here! Die!
The rubble ontop of her seemed to be lifted. The pain removed from her back, taking in needed breaths. She felt human. Like she couldn't get enough of it. Deep breaths, registered that she was still, well, alive.
Hands lifted her up into strong arms, her head lolling back. All she could see twas the yellow light. The yellow if the voice's jacket. "We need an ambulance! Now! Hurry up, she's burnt badly!"
She wanted to say to him, I'm here you know. Be her smartass mouthed self. But the voice, the voice people had heard her talk with for so long, was dead. The wailing of the sirens was off in the distance, and they laid her down on a blanket. "How the hell was she in there, when the building collapsed? How the hell did this happen?!"
They wouldn't find the lighter. The lighter would be gone with her skin.
Her mind flashed back right before the blow up.
Stephan was trying to urge Ali to leave. Ali was trying to get Rose to leave. She had just put Stephan on a hook, and thrown him. That was when the demon left. The wrong time. Her voice shook, and she pushed them both out, the lighter had flown out of her hand. Her hands made sure Ali and Stephan had gotten out, her eyes on the lighter. She cursed herself and heard the boom before she felt it.
The vibration of the explosion threw her into a wall, crashing it, falling down, blowing out all the windows. She tired to cover her face, cover her body but the fire had already reigned down on her. Her arms. Legs. Face. Back. She blacked out.
Rose's mind skipped back to the regular flashback.
He was performing CPR. She was there though. She thought so at least. Was she? She couldn't see. Not clearly at least. Her face stung in the night. Hell. They rolled her over, giving her back thrusts. She vomitted blood. Everywhere, it was just spilling out of her mouth, and it wouldn't stop. Coughing. Sputtering.
They thought she was going to die.
So did she.
The blood caked her lips, caked her entire mouth. The blood seeped into the flesh that had been burned away. The ambulance's wail was closer. She couldn't stop vomitting. She felt like she was vomitting up all the blood of the victims she had taken from the years of her vampire. It was going to end. The blood.
Seeping.Dripping from her parched lips. What she wouldn't do for a refreshing drink of anything. Water. Blood.
Her hands were next to her face. She could vaguely see how match skin was stripped away. She vomitted blood again.
They held her face, and it hurt. Hurt like a bitch. They really did think she was choking?
The wailing stopped.
The crying out in pain in her head didn't. The voice might of not been able to speak, but the screaming inside of her mind, was. Screaming like a wench.
She wanted it to stop. She picked up her burned hands and started to claw, claw tearing away more skin. Screaming out now. "Make it stop! Make it stop! It hurts!" She screamed as loud as she could.
The paramedics pulled up a stretcher and placed her on it, strapping her down. The burns! "It hurts! Get it off of me!" She started to tear at it again.
At the hospital with no windows she spent three months. The burns took three fucking months. They fucked up her face. Tore apart her skin. If she wasn't a vampire, it probably would have taken longer. She still had subtle burn marks as well. They kept her there for three months. Three months of being a vegetable. Three months without blood. Payback was a bitch. It was obvious what she had done as soon as she got out.
Her mind threw her back into reality.
They were trying to talk her into calming down. No one ever did that. Her nosetrails flared, and she glared at Ali, the redness in her eyes scaring herself. The power coursing through her body. Rolling her shoulders she stalked foward. Slowly, and gripped Ali up, bringing her above her face. "Back down?" The question was more of a growl. "How about you back down when you spent three months," She got really close to Ali's face, so she could see the utter seriousness in her eyes. See that she would kill.
"In absolute solitude. No fucking communication. Nothing! Tell me. Wouldn't you be angry if you got locked away?! For BURN TREATMENTS THAT COULD HAVE KILLED ME?!" She was yelling out now. The demon yelling at Rose. Rose yelling at the demon.
"Talk?" Her lips curled back, revealing some sharp canine's. "Come talk when your like me Ali. I'll give you perfect advice!"
She then threw her, skidding so she landed beside her makeup chair. Enough space for Rose to get to Victor. She leaned over picking him up, raising him high over head. "Explain yourself or else you got put in a fan." The growl escaped her lips like poison.
Three months. Three months of fucking pent up anger! And people were trying to calm her down?!

"Explain yourself or else you got put in a fan."
“Explain myself? What do you mean myself? If you mean do I love Ali, the answer is that I Do love Ali! Not just saying it like that, but I do love her! A love that means more than just a kiss and hugs. It’s deeper. Love is when you love everything about a person. Even the flaws. To you, that person is perfection, and means the world to you, you would do anything for them. And to me, that person is Ali. I see her, and my heart is confused. It doesn’t know whether to relax or go crazy. I’m speechless, happy, and I feel like I can live without air, water, food, and anything else. When she touches my hand with hers, I feel like I am in the center of the universe. I’m centered, balanced, one with everything. I couldn’t ask for anyone else.”
He paused a little… He spoke from the heart, and that was more than he anticipated to do… It wasn’t like him, but he was relieved to say it all…
But right now, he had a ceiling fan an inch away from his face, and he had to snap back to the present before the ceiling fan did that for him.
“Now if you are asking me to explain how we met, it was about four years ago. We met in a gym in Hollywood. After the gym closed, I walked her to her hotel room, and invited her to a party. We stayed, talk, and I introduced her to a friend of mine, who was the host of the party. Unfortunately, Ali’s target was my friend. She killed him. I still love her regardless of that though. I don’t hold it against her. From them, we continued to meet on rare occasions. We became friends. I took care of her even when Stephan died. I do love her. More than I can describe. I know it’s cliché, but I really do love her.”
He hoped and prayed that Rose didn’t feel the need toss her baggage in the air. He didn’t want to end up being the meat sprinkles for Roses new delight, “Victor Sprinkled Salad topped with AB+ Sauce.” 'WHY THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING OF SOMETHING LIKE THIS?! YOU ARE GONNA LIVE!!! YOU HAVE TO!!! For Ali’s sake………………………………………………………'
That thought probably set him off because one moment he was up in the air and the next he was on the floor, in a position that resembled a pouncing fighter. He tried to clear his mind, and realized what he did. He grabbed her wrists, and used all this strength to pull her arms apart, He fell down, landing on her, rolling off of her as fast as he can and on the position he was at right now.
He ran towards Ali to make sure she was okay while Rose was down. Once he reached her, he held her, making sure she was okay. Rose was probably going to rip his head off for touching Ali, but right now, his main concern was Ali and her safety.
”Ali. You okay? Are you hurt?”
He kept his senses up, his guard up, making sure Rose didn’t surprise him, but he focused most of his attention on Ali… He had to make sure everything was fine with her, and if Rose ripped him away from her, he would come back to her… He promised himself to be by her side and that nothing would keep him away from her.
OOC: I am sorry it was short and lame…

Everything was like a flash back. She could look into Rose's eyes and see the hurt and the pain. And she could remember that day in Moscow. It was a memory she was positive would never leave her. For as long as her eternity would continue. If she could turn back time, she would pull Rose out of there. Possibly just push her out and let the fire consume her. She loved Rose dearly, and just remembering that Russia was all her fault made her feel terrible. And she didnt know how she could ever fix it. Nothing had ever truly been stable between them both. They had a fight every now and then, but truth be told, Ali would never hurt Rose. She would rather take her own life then have her family hurt. Her family may not be large in numbers, but they meant everything to her. It was difficult to decide what to do when two members of that family were fighting. One wanting to kill the other. There was no middle ground.
When Rose grabbed her, she didnt fight it. She had a bad feeling that it was possible she may die here today. Because if it would save them both, she would do it in a heartbeat. The hate in Rose's eyes made her swallow gently and she wanted to hug Rose and comfort her. She hadnt known that Rose was alive. She found out when they ran into each other in Italy. But the pain was still there. And it broke Ali's heart to think that she could have saved Rose from that pain of that building. But when she opened her mouth to speak she was already flying through the air from the toss Rose delivered. The thought that she should take flying lessons came into mind as her body hit the ground and skid over to the make up chair that was standing straight up. Of course, now it wasnt so straight. She yelped slightly as the chair toppled over and fell on top of her body. It didnt hurt, but it was costing her precious seconds.
Her legs flailed as she moved so she was on her stomach, hands on either side of her, bracing to get up. But Rose already had Vic in her grasp and she was holding him towards a ceiling fan. She really didnt know what to do. Rose might kill him if she got up. But then again, maybe not. It was uncertain what the demon inside would choose to do. What course would do the most damage. So she quietly slid the chair off, listening to the conversation the whole time. Vic's words made her heart soar but she knew it would only make rose angrier. And she had a right to be angry. She had a bad history with werewolf relationships. Deep down, Rose was trying to protect her. Even if this was a spur of the kill moment that the demon was enjoying. When the chair was slid off all the way, she pulled her legs in towards her body and watched carefully. But what happened next she wouldnt have ever dreamed would happen.
One moment the two people she loved more then anything were standing, ones life in the balance and the next she was being held in warm arms. She knew it was Vic instantly and she hugged him tightly. "Im fine. Dont worry about me. I promise im fine." She told him to reassure him. And it was the truth. Rose could have tossed her a lot harder, but she hadnt. Her eyes moved to where Rose was and she turned her head quickly into Vics neck to breathe in his scent and then she moved from his grasp and moved in front of him. She was back on the defensive even though she would never deliver a blow to Rose. But her being in the way might, just might, give Vic a few more seconds to get out. Werewolves were faster runners then vampires, so a few seconds would be all that was needed. "Rose....Please dont do this. I was going to tell you but I was afraid you would react like this." She chuckled slightly. "Do you remember the day we met?"
The day that they met was also a memory she cherished. She could recall the whole thing in crystal clarity. "I taught you how to open a beer bottle with your fangs. And we were instantly friends. Remember? Rose...I know you love me. And I know your werewolf love was taken away. I loved a werewolf once before Vic and Stephan. I lost him. And then I lost Stephan." Her voice grew softer as she fought tears. It was hard for her to remember these things. "Please dont take away this one. The one that I love the most. The one I cant live without. Please."

One minute she had the werewolf in her hands, the next she didn't. Blood red eyes followed his movements. To Ali. Of course. She growled. Always, always going back to the one he loved. His fight was with her! She mentally yelled at him, how dare he. How dare he! Ali might have been his girlfriend, but his match was with her!
His life was in her hand!
She watched them. Watched them talk. Reassure each other everything was going to be alright. It angered her. Boiled her temper well past her point. Fists clenched and unclenched.
What was she?!
Chopped liver?!
She growled, and she saw Ali walk to her. She was prepared to hold her up to the fan this time. But her voice spoke before. She was scared of what her reaction would be?! If she had just come out and told her, it could have been completely avoided!
It was called honesty.
Secrecy, they were family! They should have been able to tell each other everything! Best friends. Family. How couldn't she?
Then she started to talk her down. The first time they met. The way she taught her how to open a beer bottle with her fang. All which they had bonded over.
Then she had to go and ruin it.
By mentioning Anthony. Anthony. The demon left her. Left her defenseless. Tears sprung at the corner of morphing hues. How dare she. She didn't know what happened! She didn't know what had happened!
Anthony had been the first person Rose had ever truly loved. Beside's her sire. She stumbled back against the wall, sliding down it. "Shut up. Shut up!" She yelled at Ali. "You don't know! You never knew!" She whisper screamed at her. "You will never know."
She crawled up into a ball, crying. Her shakes were extremely violent and posed a threat to the surronding around her. "Don't touch me. Leave me alone. Why are you still here? Get away from me!" She saw his figure behind Ali.
"Anthony.." She whispered, and stood, barely being able to. His figure was so clear, so clear. So human. A smile shaking smile crept onto her face. "Anthony." The word was solid now. Human. Taking several shaking steps foward, she flung herself, but stumbled when she realized he wasn't there.
Falling to the ground once more, her sighs and cries were horrible. "Why won't he leave me alone?" Her voice was choked on tears and saliva. And her make up smeared. Taking a breath in she found herself breaking down. Again.
"He's not leaving me. I can't get him to leave me alone."
"Don't touch me!" Her hands were crossed at her chest, shaking violently. "Don't touch me!" She wasn't sure who she was yelling at. Ali or Anthony.
Anthony.
Anthony.
Anthony.
Her face screwed up, tears violently crashing down around the floor, she pounded her head into the floor over and over again.
Stupid.
Stupid.
Anthony.
She didn't bother to try and stop the thoughts now. She still loved this man. Loved him dearling. Letting out a deep, pained moan, she cried harder. Why did he die? Why had he left her?
Alone?
She didn't want to do anything but lay there and cry. She wasn't strong. Not as strong as she could prove.
Anthony.
