The lights of the pub where on and bright. Tonight was one of the disco nights and everyone was coming here for some fun. And of course...she had to be working tonight. One of the busiest nights and it was her shift. But Faya didnt mind much. It was a break from dancing and she rather enjoyed the usuals that showed up. She was able to identify them all by name.
She was on her break though and leaned against the wall. It was a dark corner, away from the sweating bodies of the dancers out on the dance floor. She itched to join them. But that was her dancers side. She needed to rein that in to control it. She always over worked herself and ended up being sick and that didnt help her partner Ryan at all.
But she was pulled out of her thoughts as one of the other workers walked over and told her it was her turn to bar tend. She sighed and left the wall and went back over to the bar and put on a smile. It helped people have more fun when you could show them a smile. "What can I get you guys?" She called over the loud music at the fellow members at the bar.

Deven leaned against the bar, he came here for the atmsophere. It was a lively one - perfect for forgetting one's worries and trouble. A pretty bartender stepped behind the bar, he'd noticed her leaning against the wall earlier...she smiled, athough it was obvious to his keen eyes that she would rather be on the dance floor than behind the bar.
"What can I get you?" she hollered. and Deven waved her over. "I'd like a vodka with lime please?" he requested. She was quite attractive, he always enjoyed having female bar tenders, it just seemed they were always more personable. "Having fun?" he asked her as she made his drink.

Faya heard a male down on the other end of the bar call to her. She glanced his way and then made her way over. She wasnt the only bar tender there but she was the only one open at the moment. When she was standing in front of him and about to ask what he wanted he answered her and she chuckled softly. "Coming right up." She told him and grabbed a glass from under the bar where eyes couldnt notice them.
She placed the cup down in front of him and then grabbed the ingredients. It took her maybe a total of five seconds to be done with his drink. She smiled at his question though and nodded. "If your not having fun why are you here?" But she glanced around and noticed everyone else had a drink. Maybe she could just talk with this male for a bit. So she leaned against the bar with her hip and said, "And you? Having fun?"

Deven took his drink from her and paid cash, giving her a drink tip as well. He took a quick sip before answering her, " Eh, I'm just here to enjoy the atmosphere." he took another quick sip, "and the alcohol of course. So yeah, I guess in my way I am having fun...." He looked around briefly, "still, seems like I'd rather be on this side of the bar than your side." he said, meaning that he'd hate to be her, working when everyone around was cutting loose. "Hard to enjoy yourself completely when you are working." he clarified after another sip. "This is good." he raised his glass approvingly."Thanks."
He stuck his hand out, "Name's Deven. SO, who can I compliment on the making of this drink?" He was teasing her, he knew she made the drink, he'd watcher her do it, he was just trying to get her name....

Faya laughed. He was right of course. It really did suck that she had to work tonight. Everyone seemed to be having so much fun and just letting loose. It was one of those wild nights and she was stuck here serving people. Sometimes idiots...But Deven didnt seem like an idiot. He seemed rather charming actually. She enjoyed talking with him already.
"Yeah. Lots of people come here for the atmosphere. And your right. It does suck to have to work on such a night. I would have a blast out there. I dance profesionally and so I cant help but love dancing." She said and then shrugged. She leaned her elbows on the counter and leaned her face in her palms gently. She had on a gentle smile.
She was amused by his teasing though. She knew very well that he just wanted her name. When he offered his hand she took it and shook it gently. "Nice to meet you Deven. And the young lady who made the drink happens to be a tall brunette named Faya." She winked though and chuckled. He really was something.

Deven liked this girl - she was personable and sociable and very pretty. "Well would you mind to give her a message for me? Tell her thanks for the drink...." he paused, "and ask her what time she goes on break again or gets off and if she'd mind to dance with me later?"
He smiled - she looked like she could use some fun, and he knew he could use some himself. Although he was kind of afraid of looking ridiculous next to a professional dancer....but he mentally shrugged it off, maybe he'd be too wasted by then to care much.

Faya took up her position of leaning against the bar again with her hip and she smiled. "I will. Im sure she will love that message." She said and then he went on and she raised an eyebrow. She glanced once at the clock and then said, "She gets off in about ten minutes. And she would love to dance with you." She laughed and shook her head slightly. She was far beyond amused.
But then she heard someone calling for her so she held up a finger to tell him she would be right back. She went to the man and made his drink and after he payed her and she stuffed the bill into her pocket she went back to Deven. "Its pretty busy tonight. Anyway...You like dancing?" She asked him. She took down another glass and poured herself some coke and rum mix. They never said the bar tender themselves couldnt take a sip.

Deven raised an eyebrow - drinking on the job? God, he could use a job like THAT. "Good" he said, then nodded as she indicated she'd be right back. He watched her take another customer's drink order, make it, then return to her spot on the other side of the bar in front of him. It amused him that she'd even spend time talking to him, let alone agree to dance with him. She obviously was not a vampire, nor a werewolf - and as such was completely and blissfully unaware of what he was. He'd have to be careful - the wolf was so second nature to him, sometimes he didn't think and said or did something very....un human, and that tended to scare people.
"Um, I like to dance, yes. But that doesn't necessarily mean I am good at it - I guess I'll let you be the judge of that." he smiled, "So, I am warning you....if I break a few toes, you can't say I didn't warn you." he paused, "of course I guess its also only fair to now give you the chance to back out."
