Mindy grinned, "It's funny how you forget about the most important time of day. It's probably my responsibility to find you a place to stay, I am keeping you out here after all." William was already uncomfortable with discussing his history. Mindy would have to ask the right questions and hope one didn't offend him. This was a sensitive subject especially if William was making her ask the questions.
"Alright, tell me about your sire. What was he like? What was it about him that you hated so much?" this was at least a broad subject. She would be able to work from that. A sire is the one who is supposed to train a vampire. Basically, if William's sire was evil then he would be too. She could tell that the sire could not have been all that bad, or maybe William was just independent. Whatever happed all those years ago contributed to what William is like now.

His head beckoned a nod or two as she mentioned it being her responsibility for keeping him out here, which wasn't entirely true – if he didn’t want to be here, she would be alone by now, long ago actually. “Its fine, honestly” he said in reassuring tone, giving her a vague glance from the corner of his eye. Its not like he’d had company like this, since, forever!? So it was nice, even if him and Mindy had a few ups and downs just a while ago, everything began to seem much clearer…
William was pretty quiet at the best of times, he had a lot to tell, but didn’t know how. He also found actions the best way to get the message across, words didn’t make history, it was the actions and moves of world leaders and people that made history… This was how he thought, you couldn’t make a house with your tongue and you couldn’t succeed in battle with words! So William had a strange method to his madness, a method that many didn’t understand.
Finally she asked a question he could ponder on properly, grinning a little to himself as he shrugged, giving that slight feeling he wasn’t going to answer her, until his mouth gaped open and he began to speak “My Sire…” he muttered to himself, biting his lower lip softly to look at her properly “He was a… Extravagant man? Did you know he went by the name Jack-The-Ripper at one stage in his life… Mmmh, I knew it was him doing those murders, the way in which the females were disembowelled – but most of all, the markings he’d leave behind. He used to paint the same things when I was still with him” wow, what a clue to give away for the beginning of your history?
William sighed heavily, licking his lips slowly as he mumbled something, before speaking again “Do you see, why I hate him now? Why he – disowned me for believing life was worth something. Of course, I was turned within the eighteen-hundreds, but Jack-The-Ripper was around for years prior to the famous murders. I think he was planning something, something satanic… Let’s face it, if Vampires exist, then so does hell” looking to her, he smirked a little “Does that answer your question?”

In a way she was sort of happy he agreed to sleep at her apartment. This meant that she would see him again even if it was for only one more night. He might want to leave to really hunt. Mindy waited patiently for William to answer, he was changed long ago. Finally he did, but his answer was not what she expected. Mindy wanted very much to slap her face. Way to ask the wrong question. Nice way to start that out. The thing he couldn't really remember and it must have been the most important thing. If he couldn't remember much of that then all the other memories had to be vague.
Mindy giggled quietly at the name "Jack-the-Ripper", but immediately stopped when she heard how cruel he was. Jack could have hunted without mutilating the bodies, that was uncalled for. Jack cheated and lied, he was a regular bad guy. Mindy could see now why William acted so. She was impressed that he was not exactly like Jack, but he still needed work. He had to oil his hinges in a way.
"Yes, that does answer my question. Thank you for answering. That must be a sensitive subject. I guess you can say you were brought up by the wrong vampire. He was evil to do that to you. You were his child. You didn't know much about vampires before he came then right? That makes it all the more evil," she scowled. It was vampires like Jack that gave humans and vampires the wrong impression.

William had always pondered on why his sire had actually kept him alive; did he see something evil in William? Some evil potential that could be salvaged from the brinks of death, let’s face it, William was almost dead from that battlefield, the French hunted him and his comrades down like fish in a barrel, they were easy pickings – but this vampire, why did he save William?
His sire didn’t call himself ‘Jack The Ripper’ that was the brand name he was given when the murders of his were found around London in the 18th century. Poor females, they were all young woman he preyed on – they say they caught the murderer, jack the ripper, but by the photos, that wasn’t him… William knew the true killer and he must still be out there somewhere, another little fact and secret he could share to one of the most famous hunt cases in England, in-fact the world.
He felt a sense of accomplishment when she nodded to him with a response, that she’d wanted that answer, something he did manage to say right for once. “He was an evil man… He believed our race was superior to mortals, but I didn’t agree…” he gave a weak smile, slowly pacing about a little as he brushed his foot up through the dry dirt to sigh gently. “No, I knew nothing of vampires… He saved me… I was in Wellington’s army, we were fighting the French – our so-called officer marched us up against a wall of men twice, maybe three times larger than us. I’m probably the only survivor of that battle, yet ironically, I am technically dead” he gave a slight laugh to himself, was William actually telling her his history? Probably not for much longer.
Quietly he pushed his hands into his trouser pockets and came to stop from his random pacing, slowly looking to her as he gently bit at his bottom lip. “You do know, there is method….” He said half pondering, whether he should continue, looking to her quietly to continue “A method to see a vampire’s history, their heritage” his hazel eyes laid upon her firmly, ready to take in her reaction or comment, a slight grin perching up against his lips slowly.

Mindy stood up and brushed her legs off quickly, she didn't like how William was pacing. "Then you have been through a lot. I remember you said you didn't want the dark gift but maybe it was your destiny all along? Some vampires say to embrace it, live with it. Now that you don't know the whereabouts of your sire, you can start anew. Of course you can never forget what he did to you. It could be that if he didn't treat you so, you may not have survived as a vampire?" that was like saying it was good his sire abused him.
Mindy didn't like the way William was smiling at her, whatever this method was he must like it but Mindy was sure she won't. "What are you saying William? You can't beam your history into my head," she was a little intimidated. What was he going to do anyway? Mindy suddenly felt wary.

He beckoned a shrug from his shoulders to nod a little at her wise words, to an extent. “Start a new…” he quietly said, wandering what his destiny could be? He believed humans, mortals, had a purpose – why not him? Maybe he was given this extra strength to stop vampires from doing the things they done perhaps? Who knows – but her words certainly began to make him think.
The grin on his face seemed to smugly reappear as he nodded “Oh, its possible…” he said quietly, looking to her with a soft glisten in his eyes, a soft moist lick taking to his plump lips. “You could see everything I’ve seen… I can’t guarantee what you do see, or whether you’d like it… But like I said, there is a method” he smirked a little to slowly begin pacing again, his body tensing up as the hard breeze swept over them. “It might even give you an insight to Vampires – may even change your mind”
His offer may sound more tempting now? She got to see a vampire’s rein, but then again, there was no guarantee to what she saw or whether she liked it. He didn’t say no more about it, how they would accomplish such a task for instance, not until he knew she was intrigued or curiously driven towards it.

Mindy swallowed hard while she listened to him. She didn't know what this method was but it sounded like it would be easier on William. She was going to have to do something that she would not enjoy. "Alright tell me what the method is," she gave in. She was doing this for William, she needed to know about his history. If this method helped then it would help him.
She was interested in William's history too. She never got the full story of any vampire's history, so this would be the first. She highly doubted that it would change her mind. She was going to become a vampire. Nothing in William's history could change her mind about that. She wanted this, she wanted to live forever and see the world. Just because William wasn't one with his vampire self didn't mean Mindy was going to be the same. If William was going to show her the "vampire ways" then she'd be able to survive.

He listened with slight anticipation; almost guessing she’d pass on it, change the subject perhaps? But her softly spoken words made him shudder real hard; she asked for the method, was she using reverse psychology? Because William now began to have doubts of his own, worries, did he really want someone to see the history in which his blood had travelled?
“The method, right…” he mumbled to himself slightly, facing her to begin rubbing his hands together slowly. A soft sigh bellowed from his warm lungs that thankfully didn’t need to breath, only mere inhales to speak. “Short and simple, you quench your thirst on my blood” he said pretty quickly, looking to her lightly and vaguely as he continued to speak “A cursed one’s blood carries history, a perfectly normal human who’d taste it would – well, should, see the heritage of that vampire” his words made the process sound a little dodgy, ‘should’ – hadn’t he done this before?
His eyes slithered up her body for a moment, thinking to himself a little as he awaited some sort of sudden reaction or nervous reply. She wasn’t the only one who began to feel a little strange, no one had seen his history before, even if it didn’t show his life in full as a vampire, a snippet of history held great stories of his… did he want someone seeing them so fast?

Mindy's face was drained of its color. She had to do what exactly? Did she hear correctly? Did he say drink his blood? Mindy swayed feeling a little woozy. Of course it would be perfectly normal as a vampire to drink blood but it was just not right for a human to do it. What did vampire blood taste like anyway? She shuddered at the thought.
"Um, William. It makes perfect sense but... I'm still human here. How much blood are we talking?" she asked faintly. "Besides, do you want me digging around your memories? I must admit that if I see them then it would help you. But I really wanted you to share what you want with me." Mindy thought about drinking blood again. What side affects did it have to humans? Was she going to get some weird disease from this? Mindy felt sick already, and William's blood hasn't even touched her lips yet.

Wiliam’s eyes lowered to place at her feet for a moment, wandering quietly to himself, how did it work exactly? He wasn’t sure himself – it was different for every human and vampire, William’s blood may tell her the important events he’s been through in two-hundred years, or it could be his whole life, or maybe it was just a rumour and nothing would happen!? Who knew…
A soft sigh left his lips as he folded his hands into one another, hanging them from his front a little to look at her quietly. “I guess a good mouthful?” he said with a shrug, trying to hide the grin of seeing her drink blood, his blood – the most peculiar thoughts coming into his head, wandering if she looked cute when she fed… “I wouldn’t think it would take a lot and, Mindy, I wouldn’t have raised the subject if I hadn’t been willing to do this… But… it’s at your discretion” he wasn’t going to force her to do anything she didn’t want to do.
His feet began to carry him closer to her, stepping light footed along the dirt and dusk as he stood before her. His hands slithering up her arms a little to rest at her shoulders as he looked her in the face, eye to eye, holding a firm gaze. “My blood won’t harm you, but I can’t guarantee what you ‘feel’ or ‘see’ in the visions, trance, you’d like – but trust me” he said with a hard tone, coiling his fingers up against her petite shoulders to hold with a reassurance “You’ll be perfectly fine when you awake”

Mindy was still a little unsure about this, but saw William was at least trying to comfort her. It would only be for a second anyway, right? It's just this one time she'll have to drink blood while she was still human. Mindy leaned against William's broad chest quietly sighing. He was becoming a brotherly figure to her. "I trust you then. So how are we going to do this?"
The words sounded weird coming from her mouth. Not the "trust the vampire" part, she trusted William with her life. She was a little anxious about the "trance" part, and what she would see. She was positive though, that whatever she saw she could use to help William out. But could she really change a vampires outlook on the world? The feat sounded possible before but now it didn't so much.

William’s eyes couldn’t help but admire her soft features, the emotions and reflexes she made in pondering on the subject – that human warmth about her, she was so caring. Then suddenly, her body leaned into him and his soft pale chest tensed to try and reject the loving feeling she was giving him… But soon softened and dampened to mould against her physic, making his eyes utterly close in bliss and his arms to slowly fold up around her body to hold gently against him.
He was growing unsure, whether to let her do this, sensing her anxiety and weakness to the whole fact – particularly the blood part. Taking a moist gulp to dampen his throat to speak, he slowly inhaled a cold howl of air into the midst of his lungs. “Well, it’d be sunrise quite soon and if you don’t live that far, I reckon it would be best to… do this somewhere comfortable” he said in his timid, but strong voice, glancing down to her a little in his arms as he blinked quietly. “But, if you’d rather… Do it now…” he said in a slight raised brow, giving her the option to his method of madness.

OOC: Not a problem, do you see how short my posts are? We drained this thread dry. Well, this is basically over after you post. I'll start up a new one in the Private Homes board once you've posted. We are almost done! *Squeal!*
Mindy enjoyed the hug. It was physically a cold hug but emotionally, it was the warmest hug Mindy ever received. Was it wrong to want him? For this relationship to be something more? She did invite him to her apartment to escape the sunlight but did she also say it for maybe another reason? Mindy shook such ideas out of her head. This relationship was impossible to grow into anything more than just good friends. She had Julian. She could not abandon him. He trusted her and he needed her. Julian was a very lonely vampire but so was William. Julian just happened to get to her first. William is also so young and handsome, surely he must have a lady vampire tucked away somewhere.
Mindy took a glance at the sky. She already could see a faint light. "It would be better to do this at my place. I don't know how long it will take. Again, it's my responsibility to think of your well being. I'll show you to my place. It is but a half a mile away from here," Mindy slipped out of his arms and beckoned for him to come with her. She sorely missed the hug. She was thinking of the idea of her and William together again. She had to stop doing this.

OOC: Yeah we have drained it dry, kinda’ why I took a little longer responding. =( You may create the new Thread as-well! =)
Mindy seemed to hold his torso like never before, a creature, human-being or cold-blooded animal of the night could of held him. She gave such warmth, tenderness and love through her little actions, which sparred William’s mind into a slight over-drive, wanting more? His thoughts and feelings seemed to differ on the same wave-length as Mindy, relationships – but there was no answer in his mind, that uncertain flame dwindling in the background, meaning, maybe there’s hope?
Brushing his cheek down into her hair, his arms hung around her petite shoulders real heavily and tightly; making the most of the warmth she could give to his chilled body. A quiet smile breaking onto his lips secretly, with a slight swirling and welling up of the eyes, was it even possible for vampires to feel? That consciousness and emotion, well, to William – maybe his dark gift as a vampire, was having humanity and feelings…
When she slowly broke free, his head bellowed sideways, quickly wiping the tear from his corner of his eye, something he’d never done in the length of his vampire life – shed a tear, or as long as he could remember, he hadn’t. “Y-Yes” William said with a lump in his throat, giving her a weak smile, already seeming like he’d changed so much from earlier events… Trying to scare-munga’ Mindy into fearing vampires, destroy those thoughts of ever becoming one.
He watched as she slowly walked away, his eyes unable to contain themselves as they admired her in the soft breaking of light, dawn, another smile softly coiling up on his tender lips as she wasn’t leaving him – but merely setting the path in which they walked together, beckoning him to follow. Nodding, without words and hesitation, he walked within her steps.
