.....it's only the beginning.....
In 3,000 BC, a formidable Pharaoh had ruled over the lands of Egypt. In his period of ruling, two specific amulets were created for him. These amulets were said to have an enormous amount of power, power in which could lead to the destruction of humankind. The first amulet contained the power of time travel, giving the user the ability to travel through time. While the second amulet, had contained the power of immortality, allowing its user to not die and live eternally. Together with these two amulets, the Pharaoh was indestructible.
However, upon the creation of the amulets, armies had formed throughout the known world in search to capture these powerful items. The Pharaoh, realizing how much he had been in danger had then formed a secret society known as the Medjai. The Medjai had been protectors of the Pharaoh, along with the royal bloodline and the amulets. With the Medjai by his side, the Pharaoh believed he would no longer be in harm’s way.
One day, an army of a neighboring country had attacked the kingdom, in hopes of retrieving the two amulets. The army was so strong and immense that, it had required the assistance of the Medjai and the Pharaoh’s army. As war had existed outside of the palace walls, the Pharaoh had decided that the power of the amulets was not suitable for one man to control and would soon seek to destroy them. Grabbing a hammer, the Pharaoh would place it above the two amulets and would attempt to destroy them. Moments before the amulets would be touched, a defense mechanism would activate and the two amulets transported to the 19th Dynasty during the time of Pharaoh Seti I’s ruling.
When the amulets reentered the known world, the amulet of time travel appeared within Hamunaptra, the city of the dead, while the amulet of immortality would reappear in an entirely different location. Thieves of all sorts had tried to steal the many treasures that were, hidden deep within the city. A particular group of thieves had discovered the amulet deep within the city of Hamunaptra. As the group began to head out of the city, they had discovered by the pharaoh’s bodyguards, the Medjai, and were, mummified alive. Where after, the amulets that had been in the possessions of this group was, taken to the Pharaoh.
Not too long after the discovery of the amulets, a mysterious figure had appeared before the Pharaoh, stating that the amulets had contained an ancient power that was to not to be tampered with! He stated that, if fallen into the wrong hands, the amulets would lead to the destruction of humankind! Shortly after the amulet of time travel had vanished, and had reappeared in another location, far off in the lands of Egypt. The mysterious figure had then spoken of a sibling amulet, where it granted the user immortality. The Pharaoh, pleased to hear these words, would soon send out his armies in search for the amulets. However, upon doing so word had gotten out of the existence of the amulets, and soon countries around the world had fought to gain control of such powerful weapons.
Now, my friends, this is more than war. This is a race – a race for the safety and command of humankind! Which side will you choose?
