IN THE BEGINNING → [1422 A.D]
COUNT VLADISLAUS DRAGULIA & JONAS VAN HELSING:
The Count was a scientist of some sorts; he liked to experiment with things that were almost beyond his time. The middle ages was a dark and gloomy time, where people were dying off in the thousands from the black plague. Unfortunately for the Count, his beloved wife was one of those who had perished. He had watched what had been effected and he had found that only humans had been dying from the disease. Now, seeing as this was the middle ages and not many people knew about medicine or DNA, the Count started injecting animal blood into himself and his trusted friend (and co-worker), Jonas Van Helsing. Now, they had tried only two animals, a wolf and a bat; the Count used the bat on himself and Jonas used wolf.

Every day, they would mix their blood with an animals by cutting open their skin with a nail and mixing the blood of the bat or wolf with it. However, seeing as the middle ages was not the most sanitary they didn't clean the nails and, after a while, both of them had been infected with a virus. The virus had given them animal-like tendencies; both of them lusting for the taste of blood and grown fangs. The Count hated the sunlight and Jonas started growing more and more hair and transform into a wolf-like man. Their minds had both gone blood drunk and they had both rampaged upon the town, killing and tasting the sweet tang of blood.

However, seeing as they had feasted upon the flesh of the dying and infected, there was a chance that at least one of them would die. Unfortunately for the Count, he became infected. Both very religious men, the Count had tried to make a deal with God; but when God denied his life, the Devil soon stepped in. The Count then made a deal with the Devil, selling Jonas' soul, not his own. The Devil gave him his but made him carry a large burden, that was also given to Jonas. The Devil gave the two men the seven deadly sins, which would take over their minds, as well as the blood lust. The Count was able to walk in the sunlight, shape shift into a giant winged beast and bite humans without causing them to die or transform. Jonas was able to transform into his wolf-like state whenever he wished, bite humans without killing them or changing them. Also, the Devil stated that both of them would have seven children, all of them bearing a sin. Thus the legacy and a war was born.

GABRIEL & LUCIFER: Two angelic brothers, one dedicated to his father and the other straying from the love of God. Gabriel loved his father and everything he believed in. Lucifer was a rebel, not afraid for cause trouble and was quite a fool. Because of this, he soon found himself getting kicked out of heaven and was then the right hand man of the Devil herself. The two stayed true to their masters and Lucifer was there when the Devil took Jonas' soul away from him. However, the Devil soon realized that letting the Count live was a big mistake; the spawn that was born from both the Count and Jonas were killing humans and creating more and more creatures.

This was the only time that the Lord himself and the Devil herself would team up to help the human race. Both of them sent their most trusted servants; Lucifer and Gabriel. The Angel and Demon refused to work together and thus the creatures kept growing and breeding. Because they refused to work together, the Lord and the Devil both agreed to shun them from heaven and hell until the war was over but gave them the seven holy virtues to fend off the sins. The two servants then explained to their masters that they could not do it alone, thus the masters sent many more demons and angels to earth and the war then grew. After many years, Jonas and the Count managed to kill each other but left their children behind. The Angels and Demons that did not have sins were still shunned from where they belonged, seeing as the war still raged on.

NOW-A-DAYS → [PRESENT A.D]

The blood line of both Dracula and Van Helsing had died, but the sins and virtues still live on. Though only one child of that certain family can have the sin or virtue, they still live on and now live within high school students. Though the races of the vampires and werewolves have devolved. The vampires can no longer walk in the sun, they can not transform into a winged beast and they can die form a wooden stake or holy water. The werewolves are only able to change when the moon is full and they can die from anything that is silver and they merely touch it. Both can only kill a human when the bite it. However, if the vampire or werewolf has a sin, it still has all of the original powers . The Angels and Demons were still not allowed to got up to heaven or down to hell and were also not allowed to take a persons life before their time. If the Angel or Demon has a virtue, they are able to go up to heaven or hell whenever they please and are able to take a persons life if it is not their time.

All of these races fight against one another, trying to eliminate the other from this world. Now, the only question is...
