Though perhaps it would not have been the most polite thing to think, Reinette wasn’t in such a polite thinking mood. If Bishop was gone, then that meant that she had this woman all to herself, though what she intended to do, she wasn’t quite sure of. Something told her that the attractive behavior of the woman before her was probably not her normal way of behaving, though Reinette liked to have an odd effect on people, made life, or unlife, or whatever, more interesting.
Unlike Vesperia, when the same cold breeze floated past her, elegantly lifting wisps of her golden hair, bothering her clothes a little, she didn’t stir a tiny bit. She was completely relaxed as if this night air were the perfect temperature for her, or she just didn’t really feel affected by any of these things. There were all these little things, including her resistance against the cold, that made it obvious what she was, though it was very hard to notice these things.
“I think I will.”
Reinette replied in her own soft, but very strong tone, giving the impression of a very strong willed and confident woman hidden behind the soft and gentle awareness of a well brought up young lady. Taking a couple of steps towards Vesperia, she waited to see where this mortal woman would go, which apartment was hers.

Vesperia smiled at Reinette, then motioned towards the door back to the stairwell that lead back to her apartment. She turned and began walking, all too aware of the woman walking behind her. As she quickly descended down the stairs, one hand trailing lightly on the banister, her robe swirled around her legs, the belt loosening slightly to once again reveal her black silk and lace nightdress. She was so used to being alone that she barely noticed that this had happened.
She couldn't think of what to say as they walked for the few moments it took to reach apartment number 13, her home. As they arrived, Vesperia fished her key from her pocket and went to unlock the door, only to find that she hadn't locked it in the first place. Cursing herself softly for leaving the door unlocked (again), she opened it and stepped back to allow Reinette to step inside. She then walked in behind her and shut the door, unconsciously turning the lock out of habit.

As she followed her towards the stairwell that led downstairs from the roof, and towards where all the highest level apartments were, she glanced around briefly, wanting to see whether Bishop would suddenly appear or not. As they went further along, she passed her own apartment door, glancing over to it for a split second, she put her attention back to Vesperia, very interested in this woman. Usually, Vesperia would have been in severe danger from Reinette, but tonight she didn’t want to kill her, just have a little fun perhaps.
Smiling politely towards the mortal woman, she walked into the apartment past her, curiously letting her gaze drift from item to item. It fascinated her sometimes how humans of this age lived, and the things they desired for, so different from the time when she herself had been only human, vulnerable to all kinds of things. As she looked around, she grew even more interested in Vesperia, deciding that she would protect her from other creatures of the night, as she didn’t want someone else to get their hands on what, in her mind, was hers. Though this wasn’t entirely the way she was thinking, she did not look at Vesperia like a thing of possession, she even looked curious, fascinated, as she looked back towards her.
