Statement

Well I decided to fiddle with gimp and the results were rather surprising. I should hope to do much better in the future. A well. I will add more as I find the time, or see a picture I can't wait to work on. So check back frequently. Comment's and or suggestions are much appreciated.

as wallpaper. If centered, it will produce a
small box centered on your desktop. And not
fill the entire desktop window. I wanted these
two images to represent the beginning of their burns
right before the left the earths atmosphere when
the explosion would go off.

Ok, since no one has posted here yet, I can post this little doozie I did a moment ago and took a couple moments on.

I know it's mis colored, and I purposely made Annabella blueish lol. It's still a work in progress but I lost my muse and I think it might remain this way.

Anywho, thought it would make for a good little poster start for those circle fans out there.


James I owe you a kill and vice versa. See you on the playing field.


Anywho, hope yall like it, do comment good and bad so i can know how to fix the error of my ways.

Okay, I critique yes?!

First things first... Sevanni, I'm assuming is the main focus, and either needs to be made larger, or moved down.... because his poor little legs are definetly just.. cut off. Anna aprubtly ends the same way, so maybe smudge her out a little at the bottom. And I'm seeing her as kinda ghostly, so mabe try out a few Layer Modes to get a cool effect? Or simply lower her saturation.. it'd give the effect further, instead of the random blue bust. ;]

James is good, with his bench.. IDK if the picture had that shadow underneath it or you put it there, but its good as is. And the roots make it alright that said bench doesnt have all it's needed legs.

Given how small James is, I'd make Nix the same size. Now, Sevanni's in the front.. so he could very well remain where he is.

Good with cutting! One thnig I'd liek to advice is on the girls' hair. Take your smudge brush and make it rather small in size, then long in smudging length and set on fae out .... then smudge out the hair *as it's flowing* you don't have to go crazy with it, just a few extra strands to make it natural, and you're good.

Nix needs a light shadow... it's dark anyways, so nothing too harsh, but atm shes just floating there. Once she's smaller and has a shadow.. oh say from where her hand is, to her knee, and all in that area, she'll be good. Also, I notice her legs are kinda up, so maybe, if you're willing to move things around a little, those legs could be resting on Jame's legde over there? that should make sense. I hope so xD

*thinks* Okay, haha. Biggest thing with pulling these multi-person pics. Is the lighting and coloring. I can usually fix this easily with the Brightness and Contrast tool, just making sure everyone's in sync with each other. Plus, the environment is dark... so everyone needs to be darker. You could just play around with everyone, hoping theyre all on different layers now. And the background too, if desired, just to give the image a more consistent look.

Okay, LAST THING. the text. It just.. takes away from he image totally. I would advice just a white Times new Roman, and make it smaller. way Smaller... and have it only occupy one corner of the image, or simply just centered at the top. *not stretching from one end tof the image to the other* Leave it simple and small... and just.. yeah xD I dont know how to explain it. Text COVERING an image, generally doesn't look good.

If in fact the text isn't a total liiike, 'story; or it's not consistent. Then it's fine to have it large... BUT, still .Times new roman is love. on white. and then mess around with layer modes to have it faaaaade, and not be so overpowering.

Im gunna try. Gimp was giving me a ton of probs last night and this morning was no better.

I did switch some images around with other ones because i just couldn't get it. I played with colors and lighting, and figured out the fade effect. So i did a rough draft of the remake this morning.

Will try some other stuff, i have like 2 good James pics and that one was my fave. I also moved him by a few centimeters.

*points at what she assume's is Nixie's guy* I'd move him down a tad so there isnt the odd curve of his head, and the darkness just goes into that of the building. Also, give dem two more transparencyyy!!! (Anna and.. head-guy xD)

Don't forget Nixie's shadow, annnd I'd make them a tad darker still :]
