Time ta leave (Open)

Inora looked up when she sensed Ali beside her and wrapped her arms around Ali's waist, pressing her face into Ali's shoulder. Tears were still running down her face, but she was glad that Adam hadn't spotted her yet. She watched him with Amelie, wondering how he could leave Ali, and herself, and even the human that he was kidding with so much passion.

All these people who cared for Adam, were crying for him, had showed up to see him off even though what they wanted most was for him to stay. It broke her heart to see it, and to think of going to work without easily joking with her mentor, of having to live without the knowledge that whenever she needed him, Adam was only a phone call away.

She sobbed harder and clutched Ali tightly. At least Ali would never leave her. Or she thought so, but for all she knew Ali could end up leaving too. Everyone left. Logan left, her mother left, and now Adam was leaving. They all had put holes in Inora's heart that couldn't be filled and now, Adam was going to leave a gaping one.

Jake smiled as Miko spoke, so she knew what heartbreak was like. This was good as while he couldn't speak for Adam, Jake was in no mood to be talked out of this. He had made up his mind and was gonna see this through. There was no room for him here anymore, no one wanted him around so it seemed. Thus his reason for leaving.

"Thanks for the offer," Jake replied with a slight grin. "We'll be sure to keep it in mind." That was all he could say because he didn't really know where they were going. Adam had planned it all out and Jake didn't really know where they were gonna go aside from a general idea. He would tell Adam about Miko's offer yes, but that was all he could do.

"My, my, Jacob. How long has that been going on? Is this his little heartache?"

"Not for long and yes that is one of them," Jake answered. "Her name's Amelie and Adam is in love with her but thinks that she isn't in love with him." Jake chuckled a little and continued, "Just like with Emi only there I truly believe that the love was one sided. Here though I think he's blind. If she didn't have feelings for him she wouldn't of come here."

Miko nodded, her eyes on Amelie. "Yes. I agree. That is a two-sided love. She cares for him a great deal." Miko sighed and her whole frame relaxed as she gazed upon all who had gathered here. She felt a little out of place.

Was she the only one here who did not know one of these two intimately? The only one who had simply come out of respect and offered friendship? She winced. These people had known Adam and Jacob for much longer than she had. She had actually only met him the once, but he had heard of him. The lycans that would pass through her home for a safe place to stay had spoken of him.

She had rarely heard a foul word of him. And apparantly he had heard of her and known enough to know that she was overly protective of humans. She had kept tabs on him. Simply out of curiosity. Besides. It was adventagious for her to know the leaders of packs and covens.
