Troy moved back and forth in his room. It had been while sense he'd seen Shaden. But he'd been keeping track of the issues at hand. Troy was surprised to find out Shaden had a brother. He had known of Shadens sister, but she was long dead. Troy had done Shaden one last favor by going back to Massimo's and getting Shadens old journals. His whole life was written down in these. He looked at them sitting on the coffee table. He was tempted to read them but he knew Shaden would be upset with him and Troy had lived through too much shit to just die now.
Troy finally sat down while he waited. His hands rested in his lap, drumming his fingers on his leg. He wondered how Shaden had even gotten a hold of him. Troy had kind of disappeared after what happened, so how in the hell did Shaden know where he was? That would be the first question he would ask, and then start on a whole another set of questions. Most of which were about Shaden and Aubrey.
He stood when he heard someone coming up the stairs to his door. He waited for a minute, making sure he recognized Shadens walk. It was an elder walk, slow and steady. Like he'd already had enough with life. Only Shaden could appear so damn somber when he should be happy. Or maybe somethings happened that Troy didn't know about. He walked over to the door and opened it up, moving to the side so Shaden could come in.

Shaden moved up the steps, thankful to know he was about to get his life back, well at least in a small simple way. He wrote everything in those journals because unlike what everyone else thinks: memories do fade. So he kept ever thing in those so he would always remember. There are even things he wished he hadn't written down in them, things he'd rather forget. He looked at the door for a minute, and was about to knock when it opened. He smiled. Troy was good at knowing who it was at the door, or any where really. He had spent too much time with vampires.
In fact Shaden was surprised to find him still human. He stepped into the room and looked around at once seeing what he desired sitting on the table. He walked over to them and picked up the first one. It was from the year he was turned. He stared at it for awhile before he even looked back up at Troy. "Thanks, I owe you one." He said half joking, Troy would know better then to really take him up on that, however Shaden wouldn't mind to much. Its not like Troy could treat him like Massimo had.
He was sure Troy had questions for him so he took a seat and waited, still holding the journal in his hand. He continued to look over at Troy, waiting for him to start.

Troy stood there like an idiot for a minute or so, just watching Shaden. The man who tried to tell everyone he was a monster, and yet the very same man who had saved Troys life more then once. Shaden must not remember those time otherwise he wouldn't have said he owed him one. As if Troy was stupid enough act on that. He shook his head and made sure the door was locked before walking over toward Shaden and sat down in a chair. He sighed and looked at Shaden, waiting to see if he would say anything else, but it seemed, that Shaden was waiting for him.
So Troy quietly cleared his throat and started thinking what he wanted to know most. "How did you know I was here?" He asked the least important question first. He leaned forward as if moving closer to him would make the words come faster.

Shaden chuckled as he watched Troy. The boy acted as if they were old friends. He shrugged to his question. "You were never very bright, Troy. In case your forgetting, you kind of belong to Aubrey. But don't worry, I don't think she even remembers you. But anyway, I cant believe you stayed in New York." She shook his head. "I thought you'd be smarter by now. Unless of course you want to become a vampire." He looked at him curiously, with a smirk on his face. "Finding you was easy, Troy. Anyone with a brain could find you. Just because you move doesn't mean that helps anything." He talked to him like Troy was a child. And in some way, he was. Troy was a fool. He liked trouble. It was as simple as that, and there was nothing Troy could say that would change Shadens mind about that.
Shaden was perfectly relaxed and looked around the room with a kind of bored expression. He turned back to Troy. The longer he stayed in one place the annoyed Shaden got now. "What do you really want to know? About me and Aubrey? Well guess what, its none of your fucking business. Why should I tell you anything. You shouldn't even be alive. By all rights I should kill you now." Even as he said it he stood up and walked over to Troy, grabbed him by the throat and made him stand up. "I think you lived with Massimo a little too long, and now your becoming more like him. Getting involved with things that don't concern you." He said in a soft but deep voice. He let go of Troy and went and sat back down, he didn't look back at Troy for awhile.
