It should never come to this, she thought to herself. It should never be this hard.
Jennifer held the two cartons side by side. Did it really matter? No. But then, what was the difference? She scanned the nutrition label again. Failing to find anything, she flipped back to the front cover. Again, nothing. Her thoughts were confirmed- there was absolutely no difference between the two products. No difference, that was, except that the brand name product was about three dollars more expensive than the not so popular one. Shrugging, Jen tossed the cheaper one into her cart. The can knocked over the tower of cat food cans, bounced off the bag off dog food, and finally rolled to a halt beside some celery. Leaning forward and slouching on the handle of the shopping cart, Jennifer turned on the next isle and continued trolling through her grocery list.
The heels of her converse squeaked against the linoleum as she walked. She had always secretly fantasized about sliding down the grocery isles in her socks- it seemed like such a fun idea. Jennifer began to daydream, only paying half attention to what was going on.

Logan grumbled as he looked at the list his father gave him. For a paralyzed man, he knew what he wanted. Logan sighed. Half this stuff they would never eat and it would just go bad. Thankfully, Logan was a cashier at the grocery store so he got a discount. He grabbed a cart and looked at the list. Milk Logan rolled his eyes. Thanks dad, very specific.
He rolled his cart slowly over to the dairy eisle. His dad was never specific with what he wanted. He thought Logan was a mind reader. Logan picked up some fat free milk. He needs something healthy He looked at the list. Cereal-No sugar He walked to the cereal eisle and parked his cart. He was looking at boxes when he heard someone crash into his cart. He saw a young woman standing there. "Sorry. My fault." He said, walking to his cart. "It was in the way. You okay?"
