There she was.
Hidden in the bar darkness, blending in perfectly with blackness of it. A dim light was near her, only showing off some bits of her face and tattered clothing. She managed to steal some cash to get a beer at one of her favorite bars. Her silver eyes looked at her pale, black fingerless gloved hand which was wrapped around a brown bottle which was half empty or that how she put it.
She sighed and took another swing at the beer, letting the alcohols power sink within her veins. She then placed it back on the brown bar table and sighed. This how she would spend some of her nights if she had the money. Just drink away all the crap in her crappy life and just let the drink numb it till she needed more. She pulled her hood off of her short black hair and drank deeply from the bottle till it was empty. "Another beer, please." She said in her cold, musical voice as the bartender came around.
The bartender nodded and handed her another, starring at her with a look. "Drowning away your pain, eh?" he asked and she snapped her head up, anger and rage in her eyes. "Shut up, Ben." She growled, low and deep. He back off and disappeared toward the other end of the bar. Smart move. She thought as she soon popped out a cigar from her pocket, putting it in her mouth and lit it with a lighter that she found. She blew out the smoke and sighed.
Another night of numbing the pain

October walked into the bar, she was still angry three days after she'd gotten riddled with bullets, she actually had to go to a human doctor to get the bullet out of her head. The doctor went to check her heart but she expertly reached out and crushed his vocal cords draging him closer and sinking her aching, hungry fangs deep into his neck allowing the blood to fill her. At last some power came back. Not much but he was enough. October walked out of the hospital with out any more problems.
Now, her head wound was fully healed as well as the knife wounds and bullet wounds in her torso. She couldn't remember the last time she'd taken a beating that bad. She sat down at the bar beside another woman she immediatly realized was a vampire. October pushed a twenty over to her, "can I buy a few smokes off you?" October didn't smoke often, only when stressed, it wasn't like she needed her lungs anymore anyways.

Her eyes glanced up from her beer, sensing something new. There was another vampire in her area. The smell was stronger when a women sat beside her. It was her. She soon looked away, going back to her drill of getting high as she would usually do during these nights.
She looked up again when she heard the women spoke. A smirk went across her pale face as she saw the twenty slide toward her. "Sure." She said, popping a few out of her pocket and sliding them toward the other person. She took the twenty and tucked it into her pocket.

October put the stick in her mouth, she had her own lighter, cupping her hand she lit it. Inhale, exhale, smoke exited her mouth as she let out a sigh of contentment. Somehow it relaxed her, kept her breathing like normal. "Hey! Can I get some rum here?" She barked at the bartender, she wasn't one to be kept waiting. She breathed in the smoke again and exhaled in a puff when the bartender set down her drink, she passed him the money. When you had seven hundred and three years down, you tended to have quite a bit of money. October had worked a lot, and invested quite a bit, gambled with smarts and always came out on top.
She looked over at the vampire, "I'm October Thorn, who might you be?" She asked taking a swig of the rum, it barely had any taste. Nothing compared to blood. October realized she was hungry.

Lars walked into the smokey bar, his own cigarette adding to the glorious fumes. He missed going to places like these, just the demure of it all. Alchohal didn't do much for him anymore, ever since he was turned immortal. His stregnth no longer allowd him to become drunk, unless he downed large amount in very, very little time... but there was no fun in it if he couldn't enjoy his drin anymore in the process.
But the taste was still the same, and his tongue still craved it at times, like anything else. But he knew it wasn't anything he needed, the craving probably wasn't even there... Only something his mind was still capable in counjuring up. The taste, crave, and longing was still implanted in his mind. Parts of him, large parts, didn't want that to eb off during time.
He walked up to the bar, gently lifting himself on a stool. A male bartender stood catering someone else before walking up to him. "What can I get you?" the tender asked making buissness.
Lars looked up, keeping his speech correct as to not reveal his fangs, "A forty, please, bottle and all," and he finished with a closed mouth smile. It isn't all that much.... he thought to himself about the 40oz drink, Well, it's not a lot for me, anyways.
The tender went of with a wary look to fetch his malt beer while he sat patiently enjoying his cigarette. He observed the people in the bar. It was relativly empty, a few people scattered at the bar table, a few at tables. He sat a good distance away from the others, for he knew no one in Hollywood. But after making teh thought he took it back, he was sitting close to someone. A young looking girl, two seats away, smoking her own pleasure. She'd been so quiet he had failed to notice her sitting there.
He was pulled out of thought as the tender came back with his drink. Lars took the large open bottle from the place it sat on the bar and raised it up to a still wary bar tender, "Thanks man," before taking a good first swig.
He watched back at the girl, only to discover now hat there where two where the one was originally sat. He mentally shrugged and took a last drag out of his cigarette before killing the small tub in the ash tray before him, deciding to hold off on another until a bit of his drink was washed down.

October put out her cigarette she looked at it and frowned, somehow after so many centuries, time seemed to be shortened, she picked up the next cigarette and stuck it in her mouth, she tended to be a bit of a chain smoker when she was angry. And she could hold onto anger for days, hatred for ever.
She flicked open her gold coloured lighter and clicked it, it spirted and failed, "come on stupid thing," she muttered the cigarette bouncing on her rose glossed lips. She flicked it again and again realizing she was going to need to refill it soon. Perhaps get one that didn't fail so often, a flame caught and burnt her finger. She tossed it quickly out of fear and pain, it smashed through a bottle of vodka and got lodged into the wall. The bartender looked from the smashed bottle that let out a heavy scent of alcohol into the air, then to October, "your payin' for that."
October who was examining her burnt thumb looked up and glared at the man, but handed him the money. She mumbled profanity under her breath. How she hated fire, all to aware it could kill her.

She looked at the girl who now she knew as October. "Helena." She replied in that cold, musical voice of hers. Taking another drag at her cigar, she starred at her, watching her take one cigar to the next. "Your stressed aren't you?" She said more then asked. She was pretty good at detecting peoples emotions. She took another deep swing at her beer and sighed again, gazing around the room. Her eyes then spotted a young man a few seats down from her. Once she caught his scent, she knew he was another vampire. She soon looked away, taking another drag at her cigar.
Helena watched October in amusement as she burned herself with her lighter. "Not so smart with fire, eh?" She asked, amusement filling her voice. She knew what fire can do with a vampire and fount it amusing how some vampire act so stupid with fire. She chugged down the last drop of her beer before ordering another. She took in another drag of the cigar before tapping out the ashes in the black bowl. She gazed around the room, wondering what could possibly happen next.
[ Thanks for waiting guys and Lamia, I'm kinda closing it now to October and Ellie so you can't join. I'm sorry]

October was a little peeved that the vampire next to her was mocking her, "not my fault these damned human devices like to screw up. It serves better use in the wall than it does to me." Her unlit cigerette bounced in her mouth, she took it out angrily now having nothing to light it with.
"Stressed is a bit of a understatement," October admitted sighing. October stared at the smokes she'd paid for on the counter top. There was no way they were going to waste, "anyone have a light?"

Helena let out a cold, dark laugh. It was the way she laughed now days and she liked it. "True but, you could be smart enough to out smart it." She said with a shrug. She put out her cigar and pulled out another one from her pocket. She placed it in between her lips and searched her pocket for her silver lighter that she found in some dumpster.
She soon found it and started to fumble with it. "Damn it." She mumbled, seeing that it won't flick on. "Anyone got a light?" She called, looking around the bar.

Lars semi jumped from the lighter hitting the bottle. Soon followed by an exchange between the pitcher and the bartender. He did catch the reason for the throw and sort of mentally laughed, but only mildly. I mean, it was like a human dealing with... some chemical, toxic, liquid? Eiter way, fire was the onlyother lethal thing exept the sun. So there wasn't that much reason to blamer her, if the fire caught up wirth her skin that is.
He remembered falling asleep on the couch at home with cigarettes in hand. When he was human it was bad, but now, it was deadly. Luckily he woke up before it completely ever burned through his clothes, granted they were more fire resistant than himself.
He responded to the call for a lighter by sliding hisown cheap one over the smooth bar top. He raised hiseye brows before removing his hand, "Just... remember, it's not my fault if she kills herself," he said, with dry, dry humor to both of them relativly. But grammar wise directing it to the other with the cigar, since she would be the one remembering anything if the other terminated herself.

October grabbed the lighter that stopped skidding in front of Helena, and lit her smoke with out any problems, "i'm not suicidal, its not my fault that that fucking lighter is broken." Ocober said, she had cursed but it wasn't angry. It just slipped into her vocabulary in the past few hundred years.
October thought about setting the other girl on fire since she found it so amusing that October had a small burn mark on her thumb, it was already fading. She decided against it almost imediatly, she didn't need any more enemies, she had enough, she was still recuperating. "Thanks," she muttered to the stranger with the lighter, "so whats your name?" She inhaled deeply.

Helena took the lighter and lit her cigar, blowing out a puff of smoke afterwords. "Thanks and it's not my fault either if she sets herself on fire." She said, dryly. She chuckled darkly and she took another drag and a sip of her beer. This night is getting more interesting by the second. She thought as she starred at October and the young man. The man's face seem really stick with her in her head as if there was something about him. She pushed that out of her mind and took a sip of her beer.
A memorie sprang into her head suddenly. She remembered when she snuck into an unlocked car to sleep in with her cigars and a bottle of beer. She was yanked out five minutes later and was beaten by some guy who owned the car. She has a few scars from that but, she was half glad that that guy found her since she was pretty close to setting that car on fire with her cigar that she fell asleep with in her hand. She could have killed herself from that. She shook her head and sipped her beer.
"Whats your name?" She then asked the man in her cold, musical voice as she starred at him. It was the way she spoke now days and she liked it.
