He walked alone, as he always did, the moonlight bouncing off of the pronounced blonde streak in his hair. Burton Alexander was a lone vampire in a world where no one truly knew they existed. Having just feed from some wasted hobo in a well hidden street he continued his stroll through the dark alleys. He toyed with coins in his pocket, just stolen from the paper cup the hobo had. The thought of the blood warming through him made a smile on his lips.
It was nights like this when he missed Trina, it had been Eleven years since he had killed her, but the years felt longer. When you know you have an eternity to live everything seems to take longer. He could hear the clubs and smell the blood emanating from them. Burton had never liked to hunt the clubs, he didn't enjoy taking life from those who still had so much more to give in life, Burton's last view of sunlight was taken to soon. Had he known what he knows now, he would have savored it more.
Tonight seemed to be different though. Burton had somehow found his way to an ally directly looking over into the Whiskey-A-Go-Go, he stood there watching as the que thronged out the door. The bouncers dressed in all black repulsed him. Some Obsidian Guards blocking the entranceway to some kind of Utopia for these people. The cloud of smoke over the heads of the people from the lit cigarettes.
"Kill yourselves, it'll save me having to do it" He said as he caught the eye of one or two people smoking, who had just dismissed him as another one of those freaky looking Hollywood lowlifes, which was fine by him.

Having been much of a wonderer Juliet made it to the great city of Hollywood...Joy...The city was filled with people of every shape and size. This world was filled with the good and the bad, she being part of the bad. The lamp light drew harsh lines on her pallid flesh as she walked the side streets. It had been a long day, not to mention she hadn't fed for awhile so the hunt was on this night. The harsh lights were to much for the moon light to grace the streets with it's presence, so the slight blue highlights of her deep ebony hair didn't show through to the outside observer, but oh well.
She wasn't much for getting into trouble in the bars tonight, to many time she walked into the clubs and bars only to come out in a fit of rage and ready to kill the first person that came up to her. Not to mention all the scents were overwhelming, everything from smoke to booze not to mention sweat, how about not. So she walked the dark side streets this night, the many places where the light dared not to travel, perfect. Digits remained in her pockets as she wondered upon on of the bars, a few people stood outside the doorway, a male trying to get in, the others were either doing as he was or smoking. Mmm killing themselves one puff at a time. Better they do it them stumble upon me in the dark alleys.
The faint scent of a fellow vampire fluttered over nares but she ignored it for the time being, the scent of fresh blood was too overwhelming in this place. If Juliet wasn't careful she was going to kill one of the poor mortals where they stood. Deep midnights fluttered over to the location of the other bloodsucker, but she kept walking a ways. If he wanted to speak he could follow, if he wanted into the club with the many mortals and night stalkers alike then it was no bother to her. Loneliness was part of her, and would always be. He hadn't been in connect with another vampire since Trina, So how he missed her scent to begin with is forgivable, but when it hit him he knew. The thought run through his to begin with that it was Trina. He'd been alone for along time, and the only other of his species he'd ever met was his Sire. He scanned the crowd looking for her, He knew she was there, but puzzles where never his fortay, he kept looking until he realized she wasn't in that crowd at all. She was in these alley ways, the he currently haunted.
"Trina...." He whispered."It can't be, I killed her, I locked her in the sunlight. I seen her reduced to a pile of ash. It can't be Trina" Having had enough of questioning his own mind he choose the option to find out who this other vampire was. He turned around, looking for any clues to her whereabouts, a rustle, a snap and then he heard the footsteps. Light as new spun silk but still audible. Two alleys down. He made his way toward her, hoping and praying that somehow his Sire had returned, yet knowing full well it was impossible. HE stood a the end of the alleyway looking at the figure in the distance. He wanted to beg for her forgiveness, he wanted her back in his life. He just wanted her.
"TRINA!"

The soundwaves of footfalls came from behind her as framework came to lean against one of the brick walls. The person's steps were quick, as if they were trying to caught up with her. Cranium shook slightly as ebony tresses came to cover her features. The breeze carried his scent, as if it were playing with it. She knew it was the vampire from earlier, each ones of them had their own distinct scent, this one was male. Digits rested in pockets as the beam of a single small harsh light lit up only half of her features, the half that stood away from him, which meant her body was silhouetted against the light. Framework was long and lean, posture in that of a relaxed pose, just lean against the wall. Ebony clothes draped over her top half cut in a tank, the bottom covered in denim jeans, and feet clad in heeled boots that went over the jeans. Fashion wasn't her thing but she knew what looked good on her, not that it mattered at this moment.
The sounds of his steps grew closer, she knew he was near. It had been a long time since she had been in contact with one of her own, she tried for the most part to stay away from those who would judge her on her actions. If she didn't have to drink from the humans she was better, but in times like this once you got hungry enough...the meal is there. Cranium tilted only slightly as the sound of his vocals rang out in the alley. A single well crafted brow arched as honey smooth words slipped from parted rosens. "Sorry you have the wrong person Hun" No sarcasm, no anger, just calm which wasn't normal, but he hadn't done anything yet that warranted the need for anger or bitterness. Midnights shifted to slightly look down the alley at him, course the light on the other side of her was none to forgiving on the sight, so she would wait to see if he got closer.

Even as his voice rang out still in the alley he knew this wasn't Trina. Her mannerisms where different, the way she stood, the way her body swerved. Everything about her had told him it wasn't Trina but he wanted it to be, So badly. The breeze had crept inside the open leather jacket, he didn't mind it soothed him. He ran a hand through his hair brushing it out of his face.
He watched as this female turned to him and parted her lips, and said the words that sounded like heaven being pulled down. He sighed heavily, knowing that Trina just was never coming back. He had always regretted killing her but sometimes the only option to escape is to remove the demon, or at least that was what he'd hoped would happen but it only made it worse. He took a few steps forward a light cast over his naturally pale face and over darkened eyes, eyeliner had always been good because it distracted people from looking at the pointed teeth sticking slightly ajar out out his mouth. He continued walking toward her, each step precise and almost thundering.
He stopped but a few paces before her, five more steps and they would have been entwined in some loving embrace. "I'm sorry, I thought you were... An old friend." The echo flowed through the empty alley over the buzz of the neon lights in the main street. "Who are you? I have never met another of our kind. I was beginning to think We'd all been wiped out"

Think muscled cords beneath the surface bunched slightly as he stepped a few feet forward. Her eyes watched his every move, watch the steps he made, the way he made them. In a way she knew where his foot was going to fall before it touched the slightly damp pavement. As the harsh light glittered over his facade midnight blues took in his features. Vision danced over the coating of eye liner, the line of his face, and the look of disappointment in his eye. With the next spoke words she shifted slightly to look at the wall before her. I am sorry to disappoint the silken words fell short of hinting toward disappointment herself, course it was to much to think that he had followed her because he wanted to know who she was. Shoulders rested against the bricks of the wall as cranium tilted backward against the same substance. The light shown upon her face, lighting up what was once hidden. Lips were curved in a slight smile, lids were closed over midnights as a small chuckle lifted from her chest. Sadly enough there are still more like us out there.
Peds shifted her form away from the wall as she came to look at him, her body turned toward him, but still relaxed, one leg bent. The names Juliet, Juliet Carlet. And who might you be? cranium tilted slightly allowing Sapphire hued ebony locks to cover half of her features in a kind of mask. Eyeliner surrounded the midnight hued eyes contrasting with the hint of blue on the lids. Everything about her was relaxed and at ease.
