(Warning this could end up being extreamly dark )
A breeze slowly blew threw the trees and played in the dark tendrils of hair. The oasis that Lucifer had found shortly after he had woken from his long sleep was filled with a few bare trees and a little pond of water that was kept filled by an underground spring. The crimson haired vampire sighed in boredom as he leaned against a tree.
Lucifer was so use to having people to torment and manipulate around him that being by himself was strange. He hadn’t truly been alone in many years of his long life and could possibly be part of the reason as to why he is the way he is, but Lucifer didn’t care much. He was just a little too wrapped up in his lack of prey, which brought his thoughts around to his hunger. He hadn’t eaten in a while either and that couldn’t be good for the older vampire.
He was quite partial to feasting on the blood on humans, but with the lack of human prey in the desert there was very little for Lucifer to feed on. Another sigh broke the silence around him, and Lucifer eyed the ever present violin case. Slowly, as if to caress the slowly falling petals of a flower, Lucifer opened his violin case and took out the wonderful instrument from its confines. Bringing the scarlet violin to his chin he tuned the strings then let a haunting melody fall from his loved instrument.

Miko stood at the top of a tree, swaying with it in the wind, her camera held loosely in her hands as she gazed over the oasis, eyes shining softly and wind blowing through her hair. She sighed with the wind and closed her eyes to listen to it's song. For a moment she almost thought she heard some other music on the wind.
Shaking the thought off, Miko opened her eyes and raised her camera to her eyes. This was an absoutely beautiful shot right before her, the moon just coming up from the horizon. And Miko paused, tilting her head to one side. Now she was certain she heard something else, a different music on the wind. Was that a...A violin?
Miko lowered the camera as she turned to look in the direction of the music. How sad. That melody was maddeningly sad. Or maybe there was just a hint of madness in it. Miko couldn't tell which, if the one playing the instrument was he mad one or if she were going mad listening. She dissentangled her baggy pants and sleeves from he tree she was in. She pulled her new scarves closer to her bare stomach and picked up her small carrier bag and placed it over her shoulder. She was too far away to tell what was playing the instrument, but she was certain it was something mystical.
Miko slid to the ground easily and head in the right direction with lightning speed. She wanted to know who was making such beautiful music. And she could her the sound getting closer and closer.
Miko stopped in her tracks, horrified. Her hands flying to her nose trying to block out the scent she had just moved close enough to sense. She nearly doubled over. This creature...This creature smelled of nothing else but death. Thousands upon thousands of lives screaming out in pain cried to Miko and she saw the river of the oasis turn thick and red, as though flowing with blood.
Miko stay croutched down in the fetal possition for a few minutes, untilshe was able to calm her heart and her mind. She opened her eyes and the river was blue. The screams had stopped. Miko was no longer breathing. As long as the scent was gone, she was ok. Miko stood straight, looking in the direction of the vampire that had caused her such pain with only his scent. She took a step forward. She knew that if she could smell him, he had long before sensed her. It would be foolhearty to run. This was a creature that thrilled in the hunt. She took off again, full speed toward the vile creature.

The moment the female vampire was near, Lucifer had known. Her weak scent of being turn relatively recently was like a beacon to him. A malicious grin filled his face at the thought of a new toy coming his way. Just that thought he was giddy in excitement, but he continued to play the haunting song to it’s end, before switching to his favorite, The Devils Trill.
Elegantly the vampire stood, as the song deserved no less than that, and played the difficult song as if it had been meant for him and who could deny it?
Oh how appropriate a song for him. The very idea of the devil giving this song to a human, was laughable. The devil was to possessive of his things to just give them away, but the madness that must have consumed the man as he had never gotten to hear the melody again would have be glorious. Lucifer’s grin widened and became even more sinister as he took in the pleasure of that simple insanity that the devil must have intended.
He closed his eyes to let the music take him, but kept his senses open to fallow the young vampire’s movements as they where heading towards him. As long as the vampire did not disturb this song he would think about not playing with her until her mind bled and made her crazy. With each step she took he could tell a little more about her from her scent. She fed mostly off of animals, how sad. And she was still extremely young in vampire terms.

Miko shuddered as the music changed. If she had thought the first piece maddening, then this one surely would drive her to the brink of insanity and back. She gasped, tasting the elder vampires scent deep in her throat. She winced and covered her mouth with the back of her hand, her eyes glared at the trail before her. Who could this be?
Miko came across a tree with an absolutely beautiful being on the other side of it. She passed him and stopped suddenly a few meters in front of him, sending sand up into the air behind her. She twirled to face hi and the wind created by the movement moved more sand in a small whirl around her. Her long, dark blonde hair had come loose during er run and, after it had twirled around her as she spun around, it settled down around her shoulders and down her back. Her eyes were large and opened wide as she stood straight before the vampire playing his crimson violin. Miko thought to the ebony colored violin in her pack and almost grimaced in depaire. Even in all her decades of dedication to the violin, she was nowhere near this being's level.
Miko fingered her camera, knowing that it was no use, no matter how baddly she wanted to capture this moment, she just couldn't. It was impossible. So she lowered her hands too her side and simply stared at the crimson haired demon in vampire form, leaning toward him to catch every note.
Miko knew, absolutely and completely, without a doubt. She was in trouble. She had just run into something that would haunt her for the rest of her vampiric life.

The young one was here. Lucifer’s senses told him. He didn’t have to look at her to know that she was stunned. His grin grew wide flashing his sharp and elongated k-9s in their glory as the song rose to reach it’s peak. One eye flashed open as he played the most powerful part of the song to stare directly at the female vampire that was standing before him. His golden eye Flashed brightly with both the joy of the music and the anticipation of playing.
Slowly and elegantly He brought the song almost reluctantly to a close and withdrew his mind from his violin to focus on the girl. She seemed entrapped by the still slowly dissipating notes of the music. With Sharp eyes he watched her for the moment simply studying her, his mind working on figuring her out without talking to her and coming up with ways to play with her mind. Oh how long it had been since he had played with someone and she, being the vampire that she was, should be more of a challenge than a mere human would be.
With a toothy grin, that could only mean something bad, at least for the one on the receiving end of it, was going to happen in a very strange way. “Hello.” He purred out, lowering his violin to his side and putting a more seductive look on his face. “I hope you enjoyed the music.”

Miko clung to the fading notes, almost desperate for them. But they were fading away, and Miko nearly whimpered as they did so. She knew she was trapped, the fly becoming evermore entangled in his web. And he would destroy her utterly, sucking her dry of any remnant of a soul she might have had. She was reminded of this the moment he lowered his violin and shot her a predator's smile.
At the other vampire's question, Miko started. She hadn't really expected him to speak. He almost seemed the type to lunge at you without a word. But Miko thought back to the scent emminating from him and realised...He tortured the unknowing by luring them into his trap and then devowering them slowly, somewhat like a venus' flytrap. The ones who could tell his nature, though...He tortured them by drawing out the inevitable.
Answering the question. It was difficult. Miko opened her mouth slightly and at first she was unable to answer, but within moments she had pushed her clear voice out of her lungs to for a coherent thought. "The music was entrancing. I only hope that I'll be able to play my violin half as well, someday..." Thed thought of the future sounded hillarious to Miko as she looked into the eyes of this creature that delighted in the torment. Who lived for it. She was without hope.

The laugh that erupted from Lucifer could not be described. It was bitter, amusing, menacing and exhilarating all at the same time. The thought that she could play the violin both amused him and insulted him at the same time. He was very prideful of his music and the thought of her even coming near his abilities was both a stroke to his ego and a bloodied knife. “Is that so.” His grin once again seductive on his face.
Her scent once again drifted to his nose and the smell of her hopelessness was like the scent of fresh blood to his nose, sweet as candy. He raised one elegant finger to his black lips as another Laugh erupted from him. “How amusing you are child.” He then pulled his hand away. Thoughts filled him as he watched the vampire child carefully. He was torn between sweet mind games or deliciously violent attacks. He had done neither in so long he was rusty in both of his skills.
His features turned from seductive to sinister in a matter of seconds. “You my dear what are you doing out here.” He took a few steps forward to see what she would do. His moves where slow and precise, each hiding the true motive. The crimson violin hung precariously in his hands as if to fall at any given moment, but that would never happen.

((I get my charries into such trouble...I...Kinda feel really bad for them...Makes me wanna cry. I say I love them and then I scare them like this. Well, Miko's a tough girl despite how frail she looks and how compassionate she is.^^))
Miko started at the harsh laugh that erupted from the elder vampire's lips. She had both suspected he would find her amusing and feared that he would find her an utter waste of time and done with her right then and there. But, thinking about the many torments he could reign down upon her, comparatively weak self. She balled her fingers into fists at her side, standing straight before the beast, chin held level.
Miko watched the movements of the crimson haired vampire's hand very closely. Every move he made was under her watchful eye. She may not be as strong, or as wise, or even as powerful in any other aspect. But she never doubted her speed. She had not yet met anyone faster than her. She would grant he had a one up on EVERYTHING else, but she needed to believe in her speed. It was her security, her comfort at this point.
Miko's features turned cold and emotionless as she saw the sinister visage spread across his face, as she had known it would. Her fists tightened, simply to strengthen her resolve not to run so he could give chase. Her chin raised minutely as he came closer. This was a dangerous game she was about to play. And she wasn't sure she was quite prepared for it. But this was where she had ended up. Miko fingered the crucifix that dangled from her belt on the left side, hidden in the folds of her pants.
Miko answered, not wanting to show any sort of disrespect to her elder. "I am simply traveling to as many places as I can. I have been holed up alone since I turned. It was time to reach out to those of my kind and learn what I could..." Miko new she wasn't wording that the way she wanted to, but she was having trouble getting the correct words out.

Sharp eyes fallowed every flinch and twitch that she made. “Dear young one, alone from the start, how terrible it must have been for you.” His face took on a sad and pitying look that hid the glee he truly felt. By now he was close enough to the female vampire that he could reach out and touch her and he did just that. Slowly with elegant fingers He brushed the young vampire’s check in a gentle caress.
“What is your name?” He whispered softly his voice deepening slightly and gaining a husky tone. He would love to see her reaction if he leaned down and licked her neck and the artery that pulsed with the blood of others. The thirst he had forgotten about roared to life in him and he had to stop himself from leaning down to bit the vampires neck. Now was not the time, he wanted to play more before turning her into a potential meal, even if she was another vampire, blood was blood to him.
To keep himself in check he nicked his tongue on one of his sharp k-9’s and let what blood he did have sooth his thirst for the moment. His tongue darted out of his mouth and licked his black lips leaving a smear of blood. Several more times his tongue darted out to lick at the blood that it had left behind before it had healed and each time his thirst was soothed just a little more making it easier to control and for him to focus on the girl before him.

Miko did not trust the pity in that voice. Not for one moment. She knew the damage her usual naivety would cause her right now. She would lead herself down a path of destruction if she trusted or gave in to this creature even for one moent. That was all he would need. Miko's eyes followed the hand that came to her face and bit at her lip gently to keep from crying out that he was to kee his filthy, discusting, talented, beautiful hands off of her. This was one of those moments that she need to breathe to calm herself, but if she so much as inhaled a mL of air into her lungs whe this close to him, she would gag and her calm demeaner would crumble around her. She simply closed her eyes momentaryily. When she opened them again, she was looking directly up into the eyes of the monster who was capturing her in that very moment.
Miko opened her mouth just slightly in order to answer the question presented to her. She was going to lie. She didn't want this being to know her true self at all. But...Her eyes. She knew, with her natural naive self, her eyes would tell him she was lieing. What then? What would he do? Miko didn't want to think about it. He was fatoo close for comfort at this point and right now, there was very little her speed could do to save her, save let her dodge. Maybe it would be enough of a shock that she could get at a distance where she might be able to et away. "My...Name..." Miko paused. Her voice had cracked. She wasn't used to being this close to anyone, much less a creature that would completely estroy her. Intended to, in fact. "I am called Me-ko."
Miko's eyes lighted upon the blood that appeared upon those black lips. Miko's lips parted for just a bit as she exhaled slowly, staring. This action had caused two thoughts to go through her head. One, he was trying to stave off the desire to drain her completely by satiating his own thirst with his own blood. And two...Miko had not yet eaten tonight. She had gone to explore the oasis she had seen on her way to Cairo, and had not visited the hospital, or one of the many stalls she had seen in the town. There were plenty of camels. One would have fed her enough, she would not have had to kill another for a couple of nights. But she had not taken the time. And even that vampiric blood that would appear, and dissappear, appear and dissappear, was tormenting her thirst.

The young vampire before him was so amusing. She was trying so hard not to be caught up by him and yet it seemed she already was. “Me-ko.” Lucifer said as if he was testing the words on his lips. “What a beautiful name.” He purred out watching her every move with a twisted sort of joy. Then as her eyes alighted upon his blood smeared lips he almost let a twisted grin adorn his face. She must be hungry as well and what a better way than to further his play with her.
“Care to have a taste?” He offered leaning down so his face was level with hers. His grin was playful and his eyes where all but begging for Miko to just lean forward. His tongue darted out once again with a fresh nick on it. He left a thick layer of blood on his dark lips to tempt the younger vampire forward for a taste. “I promise I don’t bite.” He whispered his lips close to hers now.
He could feel as a bit of the blood he had layered onto his lip slid down and onto the corner of his chin. His excitement grew with the very thought of blood, even if it was his own, his tongue begged to dart out and lap up sweet intoxicating life giving liquid. There where many ways that Lucifer could describe blood, but his favorite had to be that it was like an addictive drug, so sweet you can never get enough.

Miko nodded her head slowly, just once in thanks, when the man complimented her name. She had been complimented on it before and had simply brushed it away. It was simply because it was an unusual name in most areas. She didn't think it was even that common to name someone Miko in the country where the word originated. But...This vampire saying it put a bad taste in her mouth that Miko wanted to wash away.
Miko trembled ever so slightly as the crimson haired man leaned forward, so close to her that all she had to do was tilt her chin up and she would connect. And she knew that was exactly what he wanted her to do. And Miko almost shuddered at the thought, certain if she were to taste of him, he would demand payment for it. “I promise I don’t bite.” He whispered his lips close to hers now.
Miko's eyes softened as her resolve did as well. She was watching the slow and steady movement of a drop of crimson falling gently from his black lip and seeping down his chin. And he was going to waste it, just to taunt her. "Liar." she breathed out between her lips. Quicker than the speed of light, she seemed to have simply gone from standing still to having her finger-tips brushing the underside of his pale jaw, she had moved toward him. She started from the tip of his chin and dragged her tongue up to his lower lip, simply removing the excess blood so that it would not drip and fall into the sand. Blood was as precious a commodity as water here in the desert, and she simply could not stand to see any of it go to waste.

((Aw how I love this)) Lucifer grinned as she darted in for the blood he knew that would attract her. Though he had not spoken the full sentence when he had said he didn’t bite, which in a way was true. He didn’t like to bite he preferred to rip a whole into his victims throat and lap up the blood that way, or to let his beautiful birds create the wounds he would then drink from. Biting was left for in bed, for a heightening of the pleasure.
“Hmm, no I’m not. That saying has many meanings to it. And who is to say that is all I meant to say?” Lucifer taunted his voice husky and yet slightly twisted at the same time.
Now that he had her close, He quickly wrapped his free arm around her waist and had her body flush against his. The pose was so intimate and yet disturbing all at the same time. If a human had walked by they would have thought they had stumbled upon a pair of wistful lovers, together one last time before a painful parting, But if another vampire had happened across the scene, they would have smelt the twisted glee coming from Lucifer.
His tongue finally darted out and he lapped up the blood that he had put there, laughing his hauntingly dark laugh as he did. He leaned his head down so that his lips could brush against her ear as he spoke. “Did my blood taste good?”

“Hmm, no I’m not. That saying has many meanings to it. And who is to say that is all I meant to say?”
"I'm still right," Miko persisted. "Even if you onl bite in one sence but not another, for one perpose but not another. The fact is that from time to time...You bite..." Miko knew she was in trouble. Had known the entire time. And for some reason, she didn't car. He truely was the venus flytrap for her. A beautiful dissaster.
When Miko found herself trapped within his arms, flush against her, Miko down right pouted. 'It just isn't fair,' she thought to herself. 'I haven't been held by anyone like this in decades, and the only reason it is happening now is because the one holding me wishes to torment me to death...' Miko was genuinely angry now. That was just wrong beyond compair. She didn't go for decades without affection for this to be the way she would be treated.
“Did my blood taste good?”
Miko snarled. "You taste of death, despair, cruelty and blood." She rolled her eyes. What had he thought her response would be? "Of course, you're absolutely delicious," she had continued. Miko raised her left hand to Lucifer's hip and placed a firm grip on it while at the same time she lowered her right hand from under his chin to rest across his throat. Her sharp nails lightly ran down the crease where one would find the carotid arteries. She was not in the mood to be bullied anymore. Miko wanted this closeness, but this was drawing the line. She wanted this with someone who meant to please her. This man would release her.

How amusing she was becoming. So much fire and yet it took it so long to get burning. Lucifer almost pouted at that, yet reminded himself that the slow to riel up were almost more fun than the quickly. "You taste of death, despair, cruelty and blood." She didn’t seem to happy about that and Lucifer practically preened like one of his birds. He then noted the sarcastic tone in which she spoke her next words in. "Of course, you're absolutely delicious,"
Oh so the little vampiress had claws. A throaty laugh erupted from him this time. “Do I displease you?” He asked his voice low and deep, a tone he used to seduce his victims. He did nothing as her hands wrapped around him. One around his throat, the other around his waist. “What do you plan to do, Me-ko? Kill me?” He asked his voice taunting and yet seductive.
He moved his only free hand to rest upon her hip instead of resting on her back. The move he had made was for several reasons, the main was so if she began to squeeze it would be quicker for him to rip her hand off.
