Adam Vagus looked around as the final preparations for the feast was completed. The tables were all set, the food was being placed in it's serving plates and bowls, and waiters were putting the finishing touches on the rest. Adam watched all this with smug satisfaction, the place was regal looking with it's polished wood chairs and tables, real silverware, and fine china. That was what he wanted, to show to vamps like those in the BNC that wolves could be just as regal if not more so than them. That was why he'd chosen to forgo the normal Thanksgiving meal and opted for the current menu.
"Anyone can buy turkeys and filling anytime they wanna," he'd told Landon when the latter had seen the menu. "Not everyone can afford this." The vampires were givin an extra treat since they couldn't partake of the food. Therefore each one was givin a pure crystal goblet with their names etched in silver. Attached to each was a small tag stating that it was a gift from Blackwell to the receiver. Adam walked up to the main entrance of the Hyatt and nodded to the guards posted there. This was a private party with the entire hotel booked for the week to insure that only invited guests would be here today.
Walking outside he watched as the first guests arrived, parking their cars and getting out. They were an assorted lot, vamp, wolf, and even human but that was what Adam wanted. He wanted to shoe that the races could get along peacefully even when some of the human guests didn't know whose company they were sharing.
"Welcome my friends," Adam said greeting the first arrivals. "Welcome to my feast. I hope y'all came hungry cause if ya leave so it's your own fault." He said the last part with a grin, letting them know that he was only teasing.

Jocelyn had taken the dress she had bought and brought it with her to Hollywood. A few weeks ago, she had gotten an invitation in the mail saying that she was invited to attend a Thanksgiving feast hosted by Blackwell Industries. Blackwell… The name sounded familiar at first. Then it hit her later. Her parents had done business with them before they died. Somehow the CEO thought it polite to invite her.
She brought the subject up with Ivan. She explained everything to him, and he had agreed to accompany her to the feast. She smiled wide and immediately left to buy him the proper attire for the event. So here she was, getting out of the car with Ivan that they had taken to the hotel where the feast was held. She held the hem of the skirt part off the ground to keep it from getting dirty as she approached the entrance.
"Welcome my friends. Welcome to my feast. I hope y'all came hungry cause if ya leave so it's your own fault."
She turned her head to look at the man who had addressed them. She couldn’t help but smile at him as she approached. He smelt different than a normal human or a vampire would. He smelt like a…dog? “Thank you…” She replied politely and held out her hand for him to take.

During the flight to Hollywood from Paris, Ivan had argued with Jocelyn about going to this event. Though she had reassured him many times that it was fine for him to go he still felt uncomfortable. He didn't do well in a crowd of people he didn't know and what made things worse was it was a formal event. He hadn't been in a suit for over five years.
As the car came to a stop he began fiddling with his light gray tie. He knew it looked fine but he was nervous. He wiggled the top back and forth, watching Jocelyn exit the car. He rolled his light blue eyes and threw the car door open. "Here we go..." Stepping out of the car he scanned his surroundings, letting out a soft sigh.
Other than the smell of car smog, food, humans, and Jocelyn's perfume, something else seemed to catch Ivan's attention. What the hell is that smell? He walked around the car and stood behind Jocelyn as she thanked the man who greeted them at the door. He gave him a simple nod and shoved his hands into the front pockets of his slacks, realizing that the strange smell was emitting from the stranger.
Ivan tilted his head to the side a bit, curious as to what this man was. He knew werewolves existed but had never met one before. He quickly assumed that that's what the man was and turned his gaze away from him. He stood there awkwardly waiting on Jocelyn to walk in.

Food. She could smell it everywhere. She so wished she could partake in it. Thanksgiving had always been one of her favorite times of the year. She would chow down on food and not care. Everyone was supposed to eat a lot on thanksgiving. But now she couldnt. Oh well. She would enjoy being at the feast anyway. She had gotten the invite by Adam and of course...she had accepted. Why wouldnt she accept? Adam was one of her best friends and almost like an older brother to her. She wouldnt miss this event for anything.
But what to wear to this event had been the question. She had spent all night going through everything she had to try and figure out what the hell she could wear that was decent. Since her house had gone up in flames. She had hardly any clothes. So what she had done was head off to a store that sold dresses and with the last amount of her money, she bought a dress. It was gorgeous and she wore it on the way out. Saved her time. She didnt like to be late. The dress itself was a dark navy blue with a drop down neck line. It also had no back and the fabric was thin and soft so it clung to every curve.
Ali's hair was curled up even more then normal and gently flowed down her shoulders and back. She was in heels as well. As she reached the place the feast was being held she could smell Adam's scent. That brought a smile to her face. She then got closer and she snuck around to the back of his view so he wouldnt see her coming. One guard saw her but she was to quick. She went behind Adam and tackled him with a hug. "Adam!!!" She screamed and chuckled. She kissed his cheek and then let him go. She nudged him and said, "Hope you didnt think I would make a normal entrance." At that she turned and looked at the guards. They better let her in.

Miko had stopped at Paris on her way to Hollywood from London. She had a designer friend there that had promised her a favor. Well, the time had come. Miko had received an invitation to a Thanksgiving feast in Hollywood California. he was made aware that there would be humans among the vampires and lycans. And these humans may, or may not, be unaware of their situation. The invitation stated that they wanted a human friendly vampire to come along and keep an eye on things. Make sure all of the guests left in the same form in which they had arrived.
When Miko had reached Paris and was welcomed by her designer friend, she was immediately surprised with tree different, and extremely beautiful gowns upon three equally beautiful models about her size. Right there at the airport. Miko watched the girls the rest of the day, taking in the different shapes and shades of each dress, determined to find one to fit her style. She had chosen a black, sleeveless dress with a corset and bunched back. It was covered in lace and had an older feel to it.
Now Miko stepped out of the vehicle that had been driving her about Hollywood and stepped up to the doors in which a, Miko took a small sniff to gauge the atmosphere, werewolf welcomed herself and several others, including vampires, werewolves and humans alike. Miko glanced around. The information had been correct. It might be necessary for some human guards...Just in case. Many of these vampires were human-killers.
Miko walked up before the host lycan and bowed her head in greeting, some of the curs and lace in her hair draping down in front of her face. "Thank you for the kind invitation. It is very much appreciated." Miko then swept past, all elegance, keeping a wary eye on every human she could lay her sights on. She was already in full defensive mode.

"You're quite welcome," Adam said to Jocelyn as he helped her up. "It is a pleasure to help such a beautiful woman your boyfriend is truly a lucky man." He nodded to Ivan and was about to say more when he was hugged by someone behind him. Immediately he knew who it was even if she hadn't said a word. Only a few people hugged him and even fewer could sneak up on him.
"YOU make a normal appearance? I'd have a heart attack if ya did," Adam said turning around to greet her when she let go of him. He noticed her glaring at the guards who in turn were glaring back at her and chuckled to himself. "No worries sis. They'll let ya in. I have giving you VIP status for this event so go wild."
Adam saw Miko walk up and turned to greet her as she bowed to him. "You are most welcome. It is an honor to have you here especially in the capacity you most graciously offered to hold," Adam replied returning the bow. "Please feel free to make yourself at home." Turning back to Ali, Jocelyn, and Ivan he said, "The same goes to the rest of you. Please make yourselves at home. This feast is in your honor."

Inora streamed into the parking lot of the Hyatt, she was still getting used to the swiftness of her company car, a sleek, cherry red Plymouth Prowler. She techically wasn't supposed to be driving it to such things but in her mind, this was a company event. That meant she could take her company car, right? Seemed like reasonable logic to her.
She climbed carefully out of the car, making sure not to catch her dress in the door. Her dress for the evening matched her car to perfection and was actually the one she'd worn on her night out on the town with Rosey and Ali. Her hair was straight for once and fell below her shoulders. Inora spotted Adam across the parking lot and waved excitedly.
"Adam!" She screamed, running over to him while occasionally tripping over her feet. When she finally reached her friend and mentor she smiled brightly and gave him a huge hug. "Thank you so much for inviting me. I had no idea where to go on thanksgiving, I never do." She grinned, shrugging her shoulders.
She then spotted Ali and waved to her too. "This looks like an awesome set-up boss. You've out-done yourself."

The Black tinted spyder revved through the streets. Rose was running late, thanks to a bunch of slow hair stylists. Geesh. Well, at least she looked flawless. As always, she turned sharply into the parking lot, back her spyder swiftly next to a plymouth prowler. Hm, reminded her of Inora's car. Oh well. She turned down her stereo system, and checked her reflection in the mirror. The reason she was late, was because she had her hair dyed a dark chocolate brown, and cut, to cover one side of her face. Good as she was gonna get it. Her blue eyes flashed, yeah, this was her color. Matting it down, she reapplied her clear lipgloss. Stepping out of the car, dropping her keys into her purse, she walked confidently, her heels clicking on the pavement. Dressed in jeans, and an orange sweatshirt with buttons on the left chest. She wiggled her feet in her orange brown leather boots, unsure of herself now. What if she was underdressed, when she was still alive, her family didn't really celebrate Christmas. And when she was dead, she didn't even think about it at all. Her multi-charmed bracelet hit the wooden handlebar of her wool purse. She opened the door, and her nose went to work. She smelled, 3 extremely familier scents. Ali, Inora and Adam. Giddy already, she ran to them, her nose leading the way. Taking off her sunglasses, she threw her arms around all 3 of them. "Happy Turkey Day!!"
