Lars knitted his brow at her odd kindness. The hunger was really getting to her obviously... or she was just trying to sweeten him up for her own needs, but it still wasn't going to happen.
"...You didn't ruin it.. I never said that. I said you nearly ruined it... just the little tip of the poor scorpion's claw is missing is all..." he said as she touched the spot that had already healed.
Well, that's believable... he thought to her 'live without him' comment. Nothing could make her live with or without anything. The point is, she wasn't living. But technicalities didn't matter, she was dependent on him as for her strength, and as for the other deeper factor, well he wasn't at all convinced that, that was it's intended use, or at least not in a serious manner, despite the words serious. But it still made him curious...
"Wait... do you mean that as in, the way I'm sort of practically carrying you, or, in the.. romantic, live way...?" he said partly confused.
He sighed and stopped his steps. "What am I supposed to do? Without mentioning humans? Because it just wont fly, and you're at the mercy of me..."

Giselle wanted to burst into tears, she honestly was on the verge of it. Everything was just so... painful her body, her spirit, her dead heart, absolutely everything. His words weren't harsh on her anymore. She was simply grateful for this. It seemed like he was trying to fix her words and make them better with his comment about the tattoo.
"Good then," she simply replied. Honestly, she didn't think about how her puncture marks would affect the work of art when she was biting him kinkily. His next question stunned her. She didn't expect these words to come out of his mouth. He wasn't falling for her now, was he? She thought carefully about her response before she answered him. He wasn't one for the romantic mushy crap, she knew that.
Giselle stopped attempting to drag herself around. It just wasn't working anymore. She needed serious assistance. Her stony gray's stared straight into his own eyes. She locked them in place, her's brightly shining with complete seriousness. "If you hadn't come, then I would probably not have been able to get myself up and move in time before the sun rose. I'd be dead. Who would care for a bitch like me?" this was the whole truth. It wasn't a matter of gushy soft love, it was a matter of life or death for this lady vampire.
"Now help me get on your back," she said quietly, also completely serious. She was done trying to move herself around.

"That's what I thought... just, making sure," he said hiding small disapointment. Not because he wanted her to feel that way, but just for the fact that she could feel that way that he wanted to prove. Or at least, that's what he thought he was disapointed about... no, he was sure.
"You would have been fine..." he began to say as he turned his back to her for hands positioned on the front side of him to hold onto her. "I've been caught in a lot of alleys..." he shrugged recalling a few times he had not the time to run back to the house or find any place to stay quickly, settling spended a long day in a shadowed alley, despite the uncomfort.
"I'm.. semi, caring for you, and there has got to be nicer people than me... that DON'T know you... the wholeworld isn't bad, just insane."

Giselle carefully climbed onto Lars' back. Her head fell on his shoulder, she was just so exhausted. Her arms hung limply over him. She could have shrugged at his comment, but she chose not to. "My sanity is on the line. The sun would be... inviting eventually," Yeah, she could have stayed in the alley, but if her hunger got the best of her, she might have tried stupid things.
"My hero," she mumbled into his collar bone. She didn't believe him. What human would want to help a deranged vampire who was quite unstable at this moment. She thought about where he should go. He couldn't have been in Paris long, he might not have seen all the sights, if he was interested in them at any rate.
"What do you want to see?" she asked him.

"Hm," was all he responded to her as she climbed up onto him, her hair tickling his ear while she rested her head. He tucked his hands under her knees and just started walking from there.
He passed by a few building as he contemplated where they should go. He had no clue at all, but didn't really care THAT much. He wasn't pressed for time at all, well, when the days came along he would be, but in general. What he didn't see tonight he could see tomorrow night, and if not then or in a weeks span, or however long he was staying, he could come back in 50 years and still have the same stamina to see the rest.
"I don't know..." he answered truthfully still walking and looking ahead as a few passers by watched with confusion or disapproval as a guy who looks in his 20's was just walking down the street at late hours with another being of around the same age on his back, both with totally serious complexions, not in any joking or jovial humor.
"What's the best thing to see?"

Giselle's dark red hair fell around her face and in front of her eyes as Lars walked. Once it was lustrous and strong, today it had lost it's beautiful rich red sheen and was slightly knotted, ends splitting mercilessly. If Lars minded her hair very much, all he had to do was say so and she would put it up.
She ignored the passersby who were gawking at the two creatures. Giselle glared at a few, bared her fangs to some, and growled softly to others. If she wasn't feasting, then she was at least striking them with at least some fear. No one bothered the black haired vampire with the sickly red-head on his back.
She picked up her head and rested her chin on his shoulder, she brought her eyes up to see where he was headed. He honestly didn't care where he was going. "My personal favorite is the Père Lachaise Cemetery. You know, Jim Morrison is buried there," she responded. Yes, The Doors lead singer was indeed buried here. She wondered if he knew that already. Well dead singers or not, the cemetery was a beautiful place to view. "Anyway, for a cemetery, it's said to be one of the best places to take a romantic stroll. Take a left here, cross the intersection, and it's dead ahead."

Morrisey? Being only 23 it wasn't really his genre growing up, which caused him to actually wonder how old Giselle was. Of course he didn't..dislike it, just, he wasn't the biggest fan. But his parents on the other hand well, he couldn't help what he listened to between the ages of 0-11, at that time he didn't really even care. But hewouldn't lie in saying he didn't know the words to nearly all the songs, or about the fact he did now he was buried in France, or the fact that he didn't remember what the cemetery was called. A great looking corpse too, as it was he died at the age of 27, same as Jimi Hendrix, Brian Jones, and Kurt Cobain... Unlucky age for rock stars apparently.
Remembering his inquirey into how old she was he felt it better to just ask it now while they were on their way to the graveyard, "So, how old are you really? Old enough to have seen the actual Doors live or no?"
He turned in the directions she directed and saw the cemetery clearly with it's flaunty gates. It sure looked massive, eerie and beautiful at the same time, odd how cemeteries worked that way. Especially now, since, well, considering he himself was dead, he was as close in comparison to the long deceased people in the ground as he was with the humans walking on the street. It was an interesting and unsettling thought for him. Cemeteries always seemed to bring out the dead side in him, or at least, one had, it was a very strange experience.
"Well... Here we are, just us and hundreds of other people and a dead rocker."

Giselle had already seen this cemetery many times. She didn't have anything to comment on or gawk at. She knew every statue, tomb stone, and blade of grass in the place. Lars didn't seem impressed. When he asked for her age, she didn't know if she should be flattered or angry. Did she really want to tell him how young she was? Would he laugh at her? Shrugging, she decided to go with the truth.
"I look 21, I am actually 32. Put me down over there," she nodded to the flat gravestone. She figured he wouldn't want to carry her around if she didn't have to be. Here was a good spot. They were near the center of the cemetery anyway. "And yourself?" she asked. She didn't know how old Lars was, either. Was he as young as her?
Giselle was so limp at this point, that she didn't even know if she could sit up straight. Her throat was burning and her skin was growing paler by the second, clamming up. A girl walked passed her shoulder and the smell made her moan and her stomach jolt. She stared at her hungrily, eyes boring into her back as she bent over a tomb stone. Giselle gave Lars a pleading look. "Please? It looks like she's alone here!" she whined, her voice quite raspy.

Lars sat down on the slab next to her and looked at her while she answered. 32? Eh... he pondered, settling that she did look in the young twenties. He was almost embarrassed to say HIS age, for even the YOUNG vampires like her out shined him... he was so young, he hadn't met anyone who was not recently changed that was younger than him, like 2 years being a vampire... No. He was the youngest he had ever met. "I'm 23, changed at 20... But I mean, I could still pass as 23," he said looking over at her and catching her following gaze at the girl visiting the dead. Visiting the dead indeed.
Lars sighed again at her request and watched the girl with worried eyes. He knew Giselle wasn't in any condition to do anything on her own. But would he really? God no he couldn't... But if she didn't kill her... He could make sure of that couldn't he? Was she desperate enough to at least promise that, or was she not so desperate to the point where she'd just rip the poor girls neck out first chance?
He was afraid that if he did let it happen that the ghosts would seek him out, scold him like apparently he had spoken in Giselle's mind, considering she hadn't been fine beforehand. He seriously didn't want them coming here, of all places... they may raise the rest of the dead to come seek him out, and he didn't want Morrisey on his ass. Shit, I am going crazy...
He slip off the stone quietly as to not disturb the girl and took one last look at her before turning his direction to Giselle. He gently, but still firmly grabbed her chin to bring her pale face away from the gaze of the girl. "You can't kill her..." he said strongly and in dead seriousness, "If you kill her... Giselle I swear, both of us will NOT be happy. Swear to me. On everything you are, not just the things I know, everything... that you will not drain her dry..."

Upon hearing his age, Giselle's expression twisted from hunger to surprise. He was younger than her. Some how this was comforting to hear. She was actually happy to hear this. It mean she just had more experience in this world than Lars. He had the street smarts, she had the vamp smarts. Her eyes returned back to the little girl. She was so sweet and pure.
Lars' words about the little girl didn't connect. She kept her ravenous stare on her neck. The bluish vein slightly pumping away blood that was her's to take. When Lars grabbed her chin, her first reaction was to snap and turn back to the girl. However, he was saying something important now so she figured she should listen.
Can't kill her... the words echoed before going in one ear and out the other. Like hell I won't! I'm starving here! but it was this or nothing, and the girl's blood was singing to her. Her gray eyes went from the girl and back to Lars. She sighed, giving in. "I promise I won't kill her. You do know you will have to stop me at some point, right? That's your job. I'll try not to bite you back," she said with a smirk. It was Lars' job to yank the girl away from Giselle's famished fangs. She didn't think she could do it alone at any rate. Self control was a hard thing to keep when you were starving and haven't had a decent meal in three or four weeks.

"I can do that..." he said with a very small up turned smile before letting his gaze go to the girl who still had her body hunched over the grave stone. She looked to be in her early twenties or late teens from the back as he silently walked over to where she was, a plan moving through his head fast.
He was right behind her, holding his breathe since he didn't need it and decided not to be a distraction at all and just get the whole thing over with as soon as possible. He didn't want her to really be conscious while it was happening, at all, so he gently but forcefully wound his fingers through her hair quickly followed by a quick jerk of his hand so her for head landed hard on the stone of he grave.
Lars picked her up carefully under the arms and legs and saw the already raging bruise were she was truck and a few cuts there also. He grimaced to himself just from the thought of waking up to that in the morning.
While making his way over to the hungry Giselle he looked around expectantly. Was this alone enough to cause him agony? He hoped not. But in the few steps he'd taken to get to the redhead they hadn't showed.. they were running a bit late if they wanted to show... or maybe Paris had really gotten them lost...
He didn't say a word as he quickly set the unconscious girl down on the flat slab he once occupied. Moving back slightly he kept a close eye on Giselle, and the cemetery in all, but more on the hungry creature in front of him, because she was for sure not just a figment of imagination, while the other two worries, well, he wasn;t all together sure about them.

Hey eyes trailed along the cemetery while Lars went to get the girl. No one was here. Just the dead and one living. This might make things easier on Lars. She frankly didn't care if there were witnesses. She was a monster, let them all see it. Her stomach snarled angrily. I know, I know, Lars will help us that silenced it. Lars was helping her. For once Lars was doing something for her that was completely against his beliefs. Frankly, she was honored.
Finally he was done, young unconscious girl in tow. When she was dropped into her lap, Giselle stared blankly for a second. I'm really going to get what I want. Starving as I may be, I could end up killing her... she looked at Lars with fearful eyes. He won't let me kill her. He'd kill me first... she assured herself. I... I trust him.
Her eyes flickered back to the human. Her little moment of self awareness was up. Now she was just a famished maniac. Her lips spread revealing glossy white fangs. She clutched the girl's hair in her fist, and tugged her neck up to her mouth. Without another thought, Giselle sank her sharp eyeteeth deep into the girl's vein.
The results were immediate. Life began flowing through Giselle's body, her skin lost it's sickly chalk white color and traded it for just beautifully pale. Her strength was returning, too, shooting up her limbs. She could feel the girl's heart beat slowing down. Slower, slower, even slower. She couldn't stop, she had to drain her dry. She needed the blood. She needed this for such a long time and now it was finally her's.
Giselle snarled her warnings to Lars. She desperately hoped he would ignore her. She kept sucking the life out of the small girl's body, stealing all that she could. The power from this small snack was too great to deny. She needed all of her. She never wanted to stop, even if all of it was gone. Burrowing her fangs deeper into the vein of life, she took and stole greedily. She could only very faintly hear the heart now. Spasms shook her body suddenly.
Giselle's cherry red and monstrous eyes flashed to Lars. She allowed a pleading, help me, look before her hunger seized her body again. The blood rush was over. She could feel the pain in her stomach and her hunger returning, even greater now. More, more, more, was all her brain commanded her to do. God help Lars should he try to separate this girl from this vampire.

Lars cast his eyes down momentarily as she took the first two seconds helpings before returning them intently. He could hear the girls heartbeat for himself as he stood a few feet away, and it was a good enough indicator as to when to separate the two. But the dulling thumping made him anxious, every noise the organ made reminded him of foot steps and he began glancing more and more over his shoulder with worried eyes before returning them to what he should be watching.
The 'foot steps' were faint now, and he was afraid they were here and ready to do something, just showing themselves would be enough to send him into a state he didn't want to be in. And he wouldn't let this girls life go like his sanity had.
He threw himself at the two, examining how deep Giselle had actually gotten. It was too deep for him to just pry them apart forcefully, if he did, the girl's neck would have a gaping hole that would kill her anyways.
He thought fast as to how to get Giselle's hungry incisors out of the girl without making them rip anything. He could think of no way, only to pry them from each other from her jaw directly. He was dreading it, especially when he was still paranoid, and was sure she would fight back as he got to the task.

Well it's about time! she thought thankfully as Lars began trying to separate Giselle's fangs from the girl's neck. She was still so hungry. She couldn't resist the protesting grunts and growls. She wanted to kill her. She wanted all of it. Every last drop. When Lars' succeeded in pulling her mouth off the girl, her eyes flashed from him and then back to the barely breathing snack.
Stomach snarling back at her, she knew she wouldn't be able to hold back for long. She managed a rough "Dammit Lars, fight me! Get her away from here!" before she dove into her left wrist. It seemed as though Lars was having his own mental fight with whatever hallucinations he had up there in his head. He was fearful of something, she saw it in his eyes. Her body wanted to just kick Lars away from her. Her muscles trembled as her new strength fought her. She could really hurt him. She was worried about him?
She flattened her body against the human. Lars would have to yank her off. He would have to send her flying across the cemetery. She wanted him to do this, to hurt her just so this useless mortal could live. It was time that he showed her what he could do with his vampire abilities. He was holding back before, but this scene was too deadly. For both Lars and the human.

"Fine," he said in a harsh whisper as he stood back only to move forward and grabbed the back of Giselle's neck tightly while at the same time winding his other arm around her waist. "Sorry about this, babe," he said in the same low tone before casting her aside forcefully and away from her victim, for all he knew, she could have landed on a stone, but she couldn't die, he wasn't worried about her at the moment.
He quickly took the sickly pale human from the stone tomb she rested upon and kicked it open while she was still in his arms. He didn't know where else to put her that Giselle couldn't get hold easily. He could protect the inside of the stone box easily, but of course it DEFINITELY would not be a very pleasant awakening next to a corpse, which, by the looks was either a newer one, or well embalmed, since it still looked like a zombie.
He quickly but gently put the girl inside and shut the lid almost all the way, only leaving enough room for air and a way to get out in the morning. He turned around, ready to tend to whatever Giselle had in mind. Suspiciously looking around for his old following buddies, but thankfully they weren't to be found.
