Giselle's hand were outstretched, reaching for the unsuspecting humans neck. Just a little farther! he told herself, you can do it! she half heartedly convinced herself. She dropped her arms. It was just no use. Blasted hermit! She cussed, referring to Lars who was on her mind since she got back to Paris.
Lately it had been difficult to hunt humans like she used to. In the past, she just didn't give a damn. She maimed and tortured anyone she could get her delicate hands on and she enjoyed it. But after that incident with Lars in the pub, in the streets, and in the hotel room, when she started looking at her victims now idle thoughts would pop into her head. He has a daughter, she has an aunt. She couldn't make it stop!
She tried again. This time she tried a more direct approach instead of lurking around quietly. Shooting a slender arm out, she grabbed the mortal by the wrist. "What the hell, lady!" he objected. Giselle scowled, grabbed his neck, and brought her fangs to the flesh. When she glanced above his head there was the mortal's girlfriend horrifically watching the scene. She moaned and pushed him away. "Just get out of here!" she shrieked.
Sighing heavily and near tears, hungry and miserable, she slammed her back up against the alley wall and slid down it, falling heavily on the concrete. What do I do...

Lars walked along the streets of Paris. Paris! of all places... why? It was just one of the close places he hadn't been to very often, and he needed to get away from that house. It held too many ghosts fro his liking, although, they followed him everywhere, but it was easier to loose them in an environment none of them knew. And yes, he knew he was officially going crazy. But regardless, Paris was helping. Especially since he had NO clue what people were saying.
So far, the rumours didn't hold through. People seemed to bathe, and girls seemed to shave, and his American accent hadn't gotten him any odd looks of disapproval. So much for those theories, even though he was very happy they weren't true.
Coming around a corner he saw a couple hustle out from an alley, the male of the two having pretty nasty, but neat, holes in his neck.
Great.
Lars wondered to himself if he should meddle, or just go about his own business since the pair had escaped unscathed, well, almost. Did he really want to meddle? He wasn't sure, but he was definitely curious as to why a apparently human feasting vamp turned that down...
Curving his neck to the alley they emerged from at a slower walking pace to study it he found something he wasn't really looking forward to.
Great.
Telling him off in French should have been a clue to him that this was not the place to come for a vacation... But yet here he was. That was a WRONG move. Yet her posture seemed to call him, he remembered that stance, months ago, but for totally different reasons, reason Lars would be forever happy happened, or else he would have never met that person, who was now, one of the said ghosts.
That being thought, he just stopped. It wasn't good for her to be like this, for either of them, or else the ectoplasm might make a show, even if only for his eyes, but still. He knew he was going crazy.
"Get up..." he said in a worried hushed whisper, still in fear the situation would just beacon them to find him here.

Giselle heard his voice, but she just figured she was going crazy from the starvation. How long had it been now since she last drank human blood? Three weeks? Four weeks? She refused to touch the animals. Disgusting. It was ok for a little while when she first got back to Paris. She could drink the blood. Only recently did Lars' annoying voice start echoing in her head, and he wouldn't leave. Now the voice was back and she hit her head against the wall to get it out.
She couldn't resist. She had to have at least one peek. She opened one eye and moaned. What the hell was he doing here again! Giselle opened her other eye and grinned. She was delirious. She had to be. This was all just an hallucination. "Now I know you are just a figment of my imagination. If I ignore you, you will just go away like you did yesterday," she told the not-Lars. She began cackling.
It was true, this did happen yesterday. She was so close to the human, she had tasted his blood, and then Lars popped out of no where and scolded her. She dropped the human and miserably slept in the park. She didn't want to go home. Now her back was aching, there were dark circles under her eyes, and her skin was a sickly white.

Yesterday? Ha. So then, she was just as crazy as he was. At least he knew he had left a mark on the crazed chick, it was worth it some how, well for her anyways. He still didn't see any gain for him in the episode that happened weeks ago.
"Sorry, but I'm real..." he said in disappointment as he lightly tapped her foot with his shoe after her little episode of laughs. It seriously did look like she belonged in a mental ward the way she was laughing and just sitting there. But as it were, Lars talked to dead people, dead people as in dead, not living dead, few times they'd talk back. But he was sure he was just going crazy with an overactive imagination.
"Now, you could NOT be real... that would suck for me, I seriously don't need three ghosts tagging along behind me, two is quite enough, thanks. Now get up...please..." he said with a little desperation at the end.

Giselle shot Lars a death glare. This hallucination was persistent. She thought that if she just sat here and not think about human blood, that he would just go away. He didn't. Her expression changed into one when she was hungry, gray eyes glowing, taking on the sheen of a very bloodthirsty vampire. Her face was sunken and gaunt like an anorexic person and her stomach lurched. She growled and slammed a fist against it to make it shut up. She was not a pretty sight. In this condition, she could do many things she would not want to ever remember.
But she obliged to the hallucination, keeping a hand on the wall to keep her balance, she very slowly stood, he knees shook and she was sure she was going to collapse. Leaning against the wall now, she put her whole weight against it. She just felt too damn weak. What did he want from her now? Was he here to gloat? This was just too unreal to her. Lars did not like Giselle at all, why would be be trying to help her? If he called this help.
Snarling this time, Giselle bared her fangs at Lars. "I... I just c-can't.... the blood tastes like poison in my mouth! Look what you did to me!" she cried. Her expression softened for a moment, but then returned back to a starving vampire. She had no idea why this happened.

Lars let out a small sigh of relief and glanced over his shoulder behind him to make sure the coast was clear. So far so good. He watched her pathetically get up and bit his lip lightly. He never told her to starve herself to oblivion. Why was everything difficult with her ALWAYS.
But why was he even sticking around? Hell, he was a hallucination, he could just walk away and be done. But he wasn't going to just leave her here... like that... god. He could never be so heartless. But he let THAT thought aside.
"Well, I guess I got to you then... You're welcome..." he said not looking her in the eye, "But I never said to starve yourself..."

Oh just leave me alone to rot! she begged her hallucination in her head. Why did he care so much? He was acting strange, though, like he was expecting something to happen. What was he running from? She asked herself. He never did this before. This was new for the fake Lars.
She laughed out loud to his words. "What do you expect me to drink! Don't you think I've tried animals already? I can't do it! I will not drink..." her face twisted into pure disgust and hatred, "Animal blood," she hissed. Like hell she was sticking her fangs into an animal. She just couldn't do it. It was against everything she believed in and the blood made her want to throw up. She actually did the first two times before she gave up.

"Ha. Well, you're definitely not as smart as I thought, which wasn't very much to begin with anyways, so wow, what a shame..." he curled up a side of his mouth at her self mutilation.
He had gotten along quite fine on animal blood, he had the drive and will to do so. For he had his own 'Fake Larses' following him around... So humans were out of the question, because they didn't just annoy or scold him, they tortured him emotionally. Just seeing them there would most of the time be enough to cause him to drop what he was doing, but they always had to get a hurtful word in. So he was kept well out of sight of human blood.
"Seriously..." he began again, "If you are really that horrid on it, then just steal some blood from a hospital or something... not so difficult! but a little harder than just snatching a hobo off the street..." he explained rolling his eyes at his top of his brain suggestion.
He had indulged himself, he wouldn't deny it, going into hospitals and easily getting in through the emergency rooms or pretending with his lack of completion and other odd, unhealthy looking attributes, after that it was simply just trying to keep yourself in your own clothes and not in those awkward hospital gowns and then searching the place for their little buffet!
Indirectly he might be risking a life, but he was sure to choose the most common blood type and leave plenty so he wouldn't possibly be making an overload of shortage. And it wasn't like he did it EVERY day.

She narrowed her eyes at his comment. Glaring furiously, she said, "Unless you are here to actually do something, then leave. I don't need this now... especially not after how you left me!" she spat. How dare he just walk away from her and then just coincidently come back. What did he want from her! Hospital blood... she shuddered. It just wasn't worth the trouble of breaking into a hospital's blood bank. She chose not to tell Lars this.
Crossing her arms across her pallor chest, she said, "I can't stand human hospitals. All of those... sick and disgusting humans. I don't want their fowl tainted blood. I need it from the vein.," she shot back. "What are you doing. Why don't you just walk away and leave me to my miserable self. I know that's what you want to do," she scolded.

Lars let out one dry laugh at her words. She could never be pleased, ever. Why was she so HARD TO PLEASE?! God, it was her way or the highways. Well, for the normal person, but Lars chose neither, he was quite fine choosing his own route, even if it left him lost. As it had always been.
"I thought I was a figment of your imagination...?" he asked looking at her with raised eyebrows. "And even if I was, how could you possibly get rid of your own creation? But I'm unfortunately NOT. Although I'm sure I stick around in their anyways... Either way, you're stuck with me."
But maybe he'd take up that offer, why the hell would he waste his time? No point in doing this, now, he had a whole nice night to explore Paris. And she just, well, she would certainly put a damper on that night... the wet blanket that she was.
"Hmm, good idea..." he said turning his body from the alley, "Why stay? What good thing or truth can you hold for me? Seeing you like this obviously proves that I won the fuccking war you talked about. I can just pull out now... with no gain to me but, oh well, Paris waits after all..." he said with a shrug and small grin to her, "Have fun with my other self that resides in your brain, those damn figments, they NEVER shut up."

Was he... was he taunting her? Was he seriously saying these things to her? Her heart sank. Real then. Great. She wanted him to leave, she honestly did, but he was in Paris now and she bet he didn't know much about it. As much as she despised him, she didn't want him making a fool of himself in her home country. He didn't speak French and he could piss off a few French girls easily. Giselle smirked at the thought of a couple French girls slapping him.
Reaching out a frail arm, she lightly placed her hand on his shoulder. "You bastard. I am not letting you walk around Paris alone! I live here and I will not have you make a fool of yourself," wow, she didn't know she really cared that much. But it still hurt to even move, she just wanted blood. Maybe Lars would cave and kill a human for her if she stuck around him long enough.
It would be slow going, Giselle's body ached from exhaustion, starvation, and just plain weakness. She honestly didn't know how she managed to get here. She slung her arm around his shoulder and leaned her full weight against him. "Do something useful for once and lend a body," she demanded. She would keep her extremely hollow and light body on his until he got her what she wanted. Go forbid it if he shoved her away.

Lars scoffed lightly when she said she was going to tag along. He was totally capable of walking by himself. And he was a relatively fast learner when it came to street smarts, he would have been fine without her help anyways. But maybe this would please her... not like he was really striving to, but whatever.
But his own actions were disappointing him. He should have never stopped, or he should have just spat in her face and kept walking. But no, he was practically acting as if nothing had happened... he hated himself for that. That's exactly what his parents did, and he hated that out of them, of course eventually they stopped their on and off relationship and just divorced. But now he himself was doing it?! God, he really hated himself for this, he had NEVER done this before with ANYONE. Maybe he should just blame her for making him act like his own god damned parents. But then again, they weren't married, have never loved each other, and don't have a 12 year old son. Circumstances were different. Maybe he was aloud to do this...
He gripped her hand on his shoulder lightly as she leaned against him, wondering how exactly he was to walk AND support her weight well. He guessed she did need nourishment, but he wasn't, under ANY circumstances going to kill someone for her. If all ends well, she'd just get to weak and he'd bring her a deer... or something, and she'd live with it, for her strengths sake.
"Well, excuse me, but yes, I was a bastard, up until the age of 8, thanks. And no, I don't lend my body to anyone... that's not my profession..." he said smiling to himself, "Of course I may help you in transportation... since apparently you're willing to be my limp tour guide..."

Well at least he's cooperating he thought thankfully. Giselle was a light little thing, but she did try and put some of her weight on her legs. She knew that look in his eye. He wasn't going to kill a human for her. She refused to eat an animal, no matter how thirsty and starving she was. The thought of animal blood running through her system made her sick. She always lived off of humans, switching over to animals now would be daft. She couldn't do it. Her body was too used to the human blood and it wouldn't let her.
Giselle leaned into Lars' ear now, her voice a faint whisper, "You missed me, admit it. And it may not be my profession either, but you seemed to enjoy me in the hotel room. What's stopping you now? You have my permission, lay one on me," she dared. Her pretty lips were close to his own, so close that she could feel his breath on her face.
As for her meal, she would have to sway him in a different way. "You won't get just one human for me?" she pleaded, pouting. "I promise I won't suck them dry. If I have at least some blood in my body, then I wouldn't have to lean my pretty self all over you. Unless... that's what you want," she mocked. Her promise was empty. She needed the human dead for her to be able to drink from them anyway. She still wouldn't be able to kill them herself. If Lars really cared about her, then he would do this.

"Oh yeah, I quite enjoyed that... nearly ruined my tattoo with that love bite..." he said sarcastically, "Why would I lay one on you? I didn't once make a first, serious, move on you those weeks ago..." he shook his head with the thought still clear in his mind, "You're just missing me too much, eh?"
He disregarded her plead for food. There was no way she could die from this, as far as he knew. And he just simply wouldn't do it. He had already grasped that he couldn't trust her words, that was simple enough, how could he be positive she wouldn't finish them off? And even the sight would send the ghosts to him, he knew it. It just wasn't going to happen.
"No, Giselle," he whined out, "I won't catch anything for you..." he said tightening his grip as he took a few paced step forward making sure he could at least drag her along. "I'd give you a ride on my back before I hunted for you..." he said truthfully, usually he was short enough to be the one getting piggy back rides... in the day anyways, none came around much often NOW, but Giselle was so light against him, and even if she was in top condition... he had vamp strength...

Giselle cocked an eyebrow and gave him a sidelong look. "In that case, giddy up," she said dryly. She wasn't kidding, she was serious. He was really dragging her along and she couldn't support her own weight anymore. Her legs were shot. She was fully depending on him now and if he left her here alone, then she would curl up in a ball and drown in hunger, possibly slipping into some sort of coma state.
"I actually like that tattoo, sorry I ruined it," she weakly reached up and softly touched his neck and the place where she bit him. "You caught me, I can't possibly live without you. Seriously," well now she couldn't live with out him. Literally. She was near passing out. She was relying on him and if she did happen to faint, he could just leave her someplace and walk away. But that was her job. She was the heartless one out of this strange couple after all.
The potent smell of humans around her was driving her completely mad. Now that they were out in the open air, she could smell everything. "Lars, I just can't walk anymore," she gave in, surrendering to her thirst. Maybe if they were in a more secluded area with less human population and the smell of their sweet flesh wasn't rich in the air, she would be a tad stronger.
