Rachel walked through the streets, her mind going in every direction. She was thinking about so many things right now it was so unreal. She felt as if her head might explode. There was of course the main thing in her head, and that was the Coven. She knew very little about them, only that her family was dead because of them. She still had her brother Logan though. She thanked God for that much. Even her grandparents were dead thanks to vampires; whether or not it was the same coven she wasn’t sure. But she would find out. And she would have her revenge on them even if it killed her.
She sighed softly to herself, and looked around. For a minute she didn’t remember where she was, but then the plane trip came back to her. She was in London. Most vampires seemed to come here. So she thought it more likely that the coven was here. Although she wasn’t sure. Logan was out finding them a place to stay for the next few days. And almost as if he could here her thoughts her phone went off. She took it out of her pocket and saw that it was Logan. She smiled and answer it, “Hello,” She paused while he talked; she rolled her eyes, “Okay, I’ll find you later. I’ll be just fine, brother.” Another pause “No, your not going to come find me I’m perfectly fine.” Pause “Yeah, okay. I love you too. Bye.” She put her phone away, and continued walking along the street. Drifting off into her own mind again. It wasn’t until she heard a soft noise behind her. In a quick motion she took out her gun and turned around. Her mind suddenly clear. It was so much harder to see things here in London. Back in New York it always seemed to be too bright and no place to hide. That wasn’t a problem here. She didn’t see anyone so she put her gun away, and started walking again. But she couldn’t get rid of the feeling of being watched.
She almost thought about calling Logan but she knew he would just get over worried. Plus she could take care of herself.

Ali was taking in the night. It was rather nice out. And dark. The moon was barely full and so the streets were covered with shadows. It made a vampires life easy. But that also made the werewolves who hunted them down harder to see. So she stayed alert and breathed in scents around her. She didnt want to be caught off guard. Sure, she knew good werewolves but there were a lot of bad. And she still remembered Patricks warning.
She sighed slightly, her hands in her pockets. Her black trench coat billowing out behind her. Her boots made a small clack sound as she walked and she was weary of that. Her sneakers were always quieter. But they wouldnt have worked tonight. She wanted to take a long walk and she hated those sneakers. And the boots made climbing tree's easier.
She stopped in her tracks though as she glanced ahead and saw a human girl who raised a gun in her direrction. Ali wasnt sure if she could see her but she doubted it. It was really dark in the area that Ali was. She was relieved when she put the gun down and then started walking again. But she was debating weather or not she should stop her. She was rather lonely now a days so she ran ahead and said, "Hey. Wait up."

Rachel stopped walking and quickly turned around to see the girl running over to her. Was this the person I felt? It was most likely seeing as how she couldn't see anyone else around. The girl looked nice enough but Rachel had been through enough in her life to know that looks could lie. That no matter how innocent or nice someone looked, they could always turn out to be dangerous. But just because Rachel knew this didn't mean she would be rude. She smiled softly at her.
"Hey." She wasn't sure of what else to say. She didn't know her did she? She ran threw her memories. No. She was sure she didn't know her. Rachel wondered what made this girl run up to her. Was it the gun maybe? That had been kind of stupid of her to just pull it out like that.
Rachel wasn't worried yet. It took a lot for her to really get worried unlike her brother. So she stood and waited for the girl to speak or give reason to why she stopped her.

Now that Ali was thinking, she realized it might have been a little stupid to just run up to her. She was weary around humans period. But this human seemed to be edgy around her. The roles had switched. She was more confident in this situation, so she just smiled at the girl. Her normally polite attitude kicked in and she chuckled softly at the girl.
"Hi. Sorry to bother you. Im just bored. And your the first person I came upon." She said truthfully. She hadnt seen any other vampires or werewolves around and no humans to her surprise. So she had no one to talk to. Only a ten year old that was at home. But he couldnt talk abou grown up stuff.

She girls easy smile and laugh made Rachel relax just slightly, and she let out a soft sigh. She continued to smile and be polite. "Your not bothering me, I was getting a little bored myself." She glanced around and then turned back to her, "London isn't normally this quiet." She said with a light laugh. It was an odd night. She hadn't seen another human walking out for at thirty minutes.
"My names Rachel." She added after a few minutes. It felt odd to stand and talk with someone without telling your name. It kind of left a hole in the conversation. At least thats how Rachel felt. But Rachel wasn't really normal. No normal person walks around at night looking for revenge on a whole vampire coven. No. Rachel was a rather spacial girl. And of course Logan always tried to talk her out of it, but it never works.

Ali smiled at her and nodded. "Im Ali." She said and then glanced around. It was really quiet. It wasnt normally so quiet and she was trying to figure out why. She figured word of the war was drifting around more and more and so less people stayed out. They didnt want to be killed. But she refused to be hostage to her house at night when that was the only time of day she could stand outside.
She nodded though. "It is quiet. A little to quiet." She said and then decided to joke around. "Maybe the vampires and werewolves got everyone." She said and ran her hand through her hair. She swallowed and realized that might not have been the best thing to say. Lots of humans were skittish about that. But she was used to teasing around about the immortals with Micahel. Michael...that name made her heart ache.

Rachel laughed and nodded "Yeah maybe they did. But they wont get me, thats for sure." Rachel had never really met a werewolf before, she'd seen one from a distance but never talked with one. One creature was enough for her. She could hardly deal with vampire let alone wolves too. And this was the first time she'd joked around with anyone other then her brother about something like this. Normally she kept a low profile in public.
Her phone went off, making her jump. With a knowing sigh she pulled it out and looked at the number. Of course it was her brother. She turned her phone off, and put it back in her pocket. Logan didn't need to know what she was doing every second. She looked back up at Ali "Sorry about that, my brother over worries about me being out her alone." She smiled "He thinks hiding away in the house will stop the war from happening." She laughed again. That wasn't all the way true. Logan just like to act like it wasn't real.

Ali was relieved that she wasnt panicking out over that one statement. She nodded knowingly. That gun wouldnt help her though. A vampire could be shot and it wouldnt harm them. They could heal right up. Only fire and sunlight killed them. It was their only weakness. But she wouldnt mention that. "Yeah. They stay away from me as well." She said with a knowing smile.
But she watched as Rachel picked up a phone and then said it was her brother. She smiled and she thought silently to herself that this girl was lucky she still had family. All of hers were far away and probably dead. But then she mentioned the war and she went paler then normal. "You know about the war?" She whispered softly.

Rachel was slightly surprised by Ali's reaction to her mentioning the war. She nodded slowly, "Of course. I'm in this war." She shrugged, "At least I kinda am. But it wasn't my choice." At the last part her voice sounded a little angry. She cleared her throat quietly. Rachel did her best to stay reserved and show little emotion other then happiness because she was happy to talk with Ali, but Logan was always telling her that if people can read your emotions, then they can use them. Play with your head. Rachel didn't think Ali would do that but still that was really the point.
"My brother is all I have left of my family thanks to a vampire coven." She glanced around again, "Thats why he worries about me so much." Wow. That was easier to say then she thought it would be. Rachel thought she might have started crying. But she guessed it was because she'd cried enough already.

Ali looked at her calmly. She was in this war. So humans were starting to get in on it now. She was apart of this. A lot deeper then a lot of people would want to be. She was a spy and so she needed to pick up on what was going on around the areas. She needed to take in everything that everyone did. And the fact that humans were starting in on this...was a fact she was glad to now know.
She gave the girl a look full of sympathy. She knew how that was. She had been changed and then abandoned. She never went home so her family was as good as dead to her. She didnt even know if they were still alive. She nodded at her though. "Im amazed humans are in on this already..." She whispered. It shocked her.

Rachel nodded, "Yes it is a bit shocking." She agreed. Although she knew mot of the humans that were in on it weren't by choice. So much pain a death has been done to the humans that they simply feel the need to finally do something about that. And Rachel planned on helping the humans. Held train them to fight and kill vampire or werewolves. What ever they like. But she said none of this. Rachel was smart and knew a lot about vampires. How to kill them. She was almost ready to be a slayer or so her Logan said. She still had few more lessons and then it would be done. It made her heart heavy to know that she would some day soon be killing people. But she had to keep in mind as well that these were people who should have died along time ago.
She looked around again. She hated how dark it was tonight, and how quiet it was. It just wasn't right.

Ali looked around nervously. But she knew that Rachel must be more nervous then her. She had methods of protecting herself. And vampires normally didnt fight each other. But now a days...you never knew. There were so many fights breaking out now that couldnt be avoided and the war would bring more. Things were starting to fall in to place. War was in the air. And she was right in the middle of it. But she had chosen to be in the middle.
She looked at Rachel's worried face and she smiled gently. "You dont have to worry. No vampire will come around while im here. Not unless they have a grudge to pick with me. I dont have very many enemies." She told her and hoped that would help her relax. All her friends were mostly in London. And even the evil side leader she considered a friend. Same with his spy. Things were going to be hard. Friends against friends.

Rachel smiled and tried not to look worried. She had to be brave. For herself, and her brother. She wouldn't get any where being scared or worried about what might happen. She was going to do this no matter what. Even if it got her killed. She would die getting revenge for her family. Her only wish was that her brother did not follow her to her grave. "Your lucky not to have too many enemies around here." But then again anyone could turn out to be an enemy. Even a friend, someone you thought you knew. Its getting so hard to trust anyone. Ali's words did help her relax more though and she stopped looking around so much.

Ali could tell she was nervous. She could feel it coming off of her and she could see it clearly in the girls eyes. She wished she could make her more comfortable. She was amazed that she hadnt guessed she was a vampire yet. Maybe that was for the better though. It wouldnt be very safe for her to reveal she was a vampire. She didnt want to be shot at the exact moment. And maybe she had other tricks up her sleeve. Ali didnt know. So its better to be safe then sorry.
But she admired the bravery in her. She could feel that now mixing with her fear. She looked around a little less and she nodded at her comment. "Yeah. But dont worry. They wont mess with me. We are safe." She was positive she could keep someone from attacking Rachel. But the quiet was making her weary. She was used to quiet and darkness, but there werent even humans out. Had she missed a memo?

Lisabetta stood for awhile just standing in the shadows watching them, but after Ali's little promise she rolled her eyes and came out of hiding. She walked toward them slowly, stopping only a few feet away. "Are you really so sure you can keep her safe?" She asked innocently looking at Ali. Then she turned her jade green eyes to Rachel, and smiled; showing her fangs. She laughed lightly and then turned back to Ali. She enjoyed playing around with mortals before she killed them and this would make it even more fun to have a vampire around to throw around as well.
She had been looking for fun all night and yet no one was around. She had been lucky to catch the these two scents on the light breeze.
