Lillie kept to the well light streets, yes that was her plan. She looked up at the dark blue sky seemed almost black, as the little diamonds that were stars began to pierce their way through. Her blonde hair was held back from her face by a butterfly clip, studded lightly with fake diamonds. She smiled to herself, looking back to the world she was in, some of the waves brushed the back of her neck softly.
Her blue eyes gazed around the street, the streetlights were flickering on and off as she walked and it gave a very spooky air to the place. Rolling her eyes lightly, she steadily quickened her pace. She didn't want to appear to be running, but she didn't want to stay at a slow pace. Not when she felt like she was being watched.
Lillie swallowed, her throat seemed to want to close itself up, but she wouldn't allow that. She some composure, some control, right? She watched as the well lit streets fell into darkened pathways before her very eyes. Her blue eyes sparkling in the only light that was still appearant beside the half moon, a candle's light from a nearby window. She sighed and kept walking, hoping to get home soon, she had had a blast with her friends.

A light patter of footsteps began to echo down the narrow street that darkened, dusk slowly fading, from orange to black as night began to dwell over the sky like a black sea of water. Already, the moon was apparent within the sky and the stars seemed to shift amongst themselves, like a flicker of lights turning on slowly. They say creepy crawlies come out at night; perhaps the phrase wasn’t too far from truth? The wind-picking up a whistling hail noise as it’s cold breeze brushed through the foliage and trees quietly.
The footsteps began to sound heavier, louder, drawing nearer, almost like pair of heavy leather boots were thudding against the ground. It would be hard for anyone to tell what direction the noise was coming from, until up ahead a burning glow emitted out of the shadows.
William held his cigarette tightly between his firm lips, taking long inhales to light up his crimson features for a moment by the cigarette light. He seemed perfectly normal, human in words, as his white shirt flapped in the wind and his tight dark jeans clinging to his slender legs, hanging down over his black leather boots that covered his feet. His gel’d hair tight and neatly in place, seeming like a normal male whose business was his own…
A soft sniff took to his nostrils, slowly raising his head as he walked, gazing upon the young girl ahead of him, who hurried down the darkening street. William’s torso tightened gently, already feeling the fresh warmth of her body so close, that thick young blood pumping around her body, he felt as if he could already hear her heart-beat… Almost sounding like a galloping horse, so many beats per minute… William’s head snapped to the side a little, gripping a hand against his cigarette to gain control of his apparent blood-lust, flicking the ash from off his cigarette quickly, he took an un-needed breath into his dusty lungs…
He sensed her drawing nearer, but this was no place to feed, homes, people, this was the street, no matter how quiet it may be – things like this had to be done in a better environment. Slowly walking again, his hazel eyes looked upon the young girl who drew ever nearer, plucking up a good old excuse to stop her as he held out his slightly to grab her attention, smirking softly to speak “Excuse me, don’t happen to have the time do you?” William pondered with a curious look, knowing the time all too well, but there was something about this young female that caught his attention… Something, he couldn’t just let pass him by.
Standing quietly, awaiting an answer, he took one last drag on his cigarette, before flicking it off into the road, taking a mere glance upon the girl’s body for a moment, trying to calculate a suitable age… She wasn’t old and she wasn’t really young either, so she had to be sixteen to eighteen perhaps? More likely eighteen, if she’s out at this time of night. William stood sternly, quite tall and well built, but hey, his had many years on his hand to accomplish such a look.

Lillie a glow ahead of her in the darkened street and grimaced. It was someone, smoking a cigarette. She took a deep breath, feeling her heart thumping away in her chest. She was afraid that it was a shady character, but as she drew closer and saw him better, she noticed his stature. He didn't seem too shady, normal looking.
The time? Lillie stopped, shaking her head for a moment to bring herself back to reality. She had been staring into his hazel eyes, they seemed almost...hypnotizing? She looked at her left wrist, the watch on it said it was now eleven thirty. "Half past eleven." She said, looking back at the man. She looked at his appearance, he looked like he couldn't be more than 21 or so, and he wasn't too bad looking either. Maybe a bit pale.
Lillie found this stranger interesting, he was mysterious and almost frightening to a degree. A wonderful sensation, to the poetic mind that Lillie possessed. "What are you doing out here this late? Looking for someplace or something else, Sir?" She asked. Lillie made a very deep effort to keep her blue eyes from looking into those hazel ones again. Something about them seemed very spooky, and...strange.

William’s soft hazel eyes seemed to reflect oddly? Perhaps it was just the ‘odd’ lighting down this narrow street, the lamp-posts flicking now and again didn’t help much. For a vampire, he wasn’t deadly pale, but instead a soft shade of pale, as if he were an Irish descendant – The Irish being known for their pale skin and temper! Or perhaps, it was just purely down to not getting out much?
His lips gently pursed, taking a long slow lick to moisten the growing dryness accumulating, as the chilly breeze brushed over his already cold flesh. He gave a soft smile when she took the moment to actually give him the time, tilting his head slightly to nod “Blimey, late so fast…” he uttered, slowly running a hand down the side of his neck, as if gently scratching an irritation, gazing upon her with his burning eyes. “Thanks” William slowly slithered out shortly after, of course, he did have manners… Even if there was a demonic beast within? Something god hated and in return, he hated god back.
Listening to her musical words, watching her throat stretch and tighten as her jaw moved to speak, his fangs within his mouth began to grind against the insides of his cheeks, but this girl, she was more then just a meal, another kill…There was something about her, her blue eyes and blonde hair, so young, so beautiful – she had the potential for something more, something, better then being mortal.
“Me?” he said slightly distracted after admiring her, grinning a little as he shrugged beneath the white shirt he wore. The few buttons undone at the top slowly flapping open to pierce his cold chest to the almost midnight air. “I guess you could say, I’m lost” he said timidly, glancing around the street, before looking upon the young girl again. For a vampire, William dressed pretty normal, even thou he did have a burning desire deep down to wear dark clothes and indulge himself in leather. It was very strange to say the least, but leather offered tight warmth to the cold body, it was a good light armour too, could take a beating. Why on earth William wore a white shirt was anybody’s guess, he only had to spill a drop of blood down it to look, out of place?
Standing quietly, he tried to come across friendly, he didn’t have any particular intentions to kill her right at this very moment – no, there was something more that meets the eye with this girl. He could smell her essence almost, purity, warmth, beauty, she was perhaps perfect to embrace into an immortal coil, keep her perfect forever. “Well, looks as if I’m heading in the wrong direction, mind if I walk you up street? Its awfully late” he gave a reassuring smile passed his luring handsome looks.

Lillie watched his movements. He nodded and responded about the time, it was quite late. But she didn't mind, she didn't have any plans for the following day and so, standing out in the street talking to a stranger didn't so late at night didn't seem very odd, at the moment. Lillie nodded her head, smiling a bit. "You're welcome."
Lillie watched him, he glanced around the street awkwardly. She tilted her head to the side in a curious way. He was lost? Where could she show him to? The bus station, the bobby station, or perhaps some local landmark, it was London, much of it was well known. She was about to offer to give him directions when he offered to walk her up the street. That would be nice, it was very dark and cold.
"Of course you can. It is kind of late and dark. My house is this way and if you go down the street just about five more blocks, there is a famous pub you may be able to get directions at." She said, giving him a smile and adding in a bit more bounce. Lillie was ignoring what most people have and call a 'common sense', but Lillie was certain this was a good idea. She truly had no common sense, more along the lines of a poetic sense. Everything was a work of art, no matter what rules she had to push aside first.

William stood quietly for a moment, looking upon her with his ever-glistening hazel eyes, that did somehow attract males and females alike to stare onwards at him, slightly dazed. They were a peculiar colour, almost burning with a light inside, instead of your average brown eyes, but what was more strange, was that they seemed to give a strange reflecting glow in the dark, almost like a wild animal’s eyes shimmering alight as a beam of light passes over their face.
Finally hearing her acceptance for him to acquaint her down the street, he smiled gently with his rugged handsome lips, looking upon her to give a final nod as his throat cleared to speak “Yeah, I’m pretty sure I’ll find some bloody help in the local” he said softly, again trying to enlighten the situation with a dry joke, knowing the drunken loafs wouldn’t have the foggiest idea in what direction to send him, but William wasn’t lost… He just wanted to understand this girl a little more; there was certainly something about her that stopped him in his tracks.
Slowly turning his body, he began to walk slowly, awaiting her to follow him, almost feeling like the pied piper for a moment. “Can never be too careful…” he muttered quietly, referring to the time of night and velvet darkness that surrounded them, giving the interoperation it was better to walk with him. Glancing towards her lightly, he licked his lips silently, feeling her radiant body warmth soar from her flesh, it was luring to be tasted by him, dragging him in for a bite – But William bit his tongue, biding his time.
“So, what’s your name, mate?” William said quite quickly, brushing a hand across his cheek slightly, hoping to start a conversation to break the silence and take his mind off things, take his mind off the fact a young girl with warm oozing blood strolled beside him, making William gag inside for a taste. If it were any other time, good old William would of brutally dragged them into a secluded quiet area and feasted on them without hesitation, but this girl, she was different, delicate? He didn’t want to crush the beauty and drain its insides out, instead, he had the urge to embrace her with the gift that would keep such a thing alive for many years to come… But he had to be sure it was the right thing he was pondering on, he had to perhaps, get to know her a little first?

Lillie saw that the man had turned slightly and began up the street. She hurried to follow him, keeping close by. Lillie began to wonder who this strange gentleman could be, he seemed very strange at first, but now he was almost normal. But Lillie couldn't shake the idea that this man had a foreboding air about him, his eyes were hypnotizing, his skin pale. Lillie was somewhat relieved to have someone with her as she walked through the cold, dark night. The wind blew gently and she felt some of her blonde hair brushing her neck again.
"Lillie Reeves, what's your name?" She responded. He didn't seem too bad and though his accent was that of a Rebel Anarchist's, she liked the sound of his voice. It seemed soothing and soft, like a whisper in the ear from a dear love, Lillie smiled again, that was a wonderful thought, she'd have to remember that line. "Are you from around here?" She asked, ignoring the fact that he had said he'd been lost, Lillie wasn't one to look at things to closely or seriously, although she did have some smart things to say every once in a while.
Walking beside this man, she tried not to shiver. A feeling of suspense swept over her and down her spine, she didn't know that it would happen in real life, only ever while reading or writing. She kept his pace easily and touched one hand to the back of her neck, stopping the stray pieces of hair, by tucking them up into her clip. She didn't wear a coat and it was quite cold, but that wasn't bothering her at the moment, not as long as this man was beside her. An untold, bewildering mystery.

He continued to pursue forwards, walking at a slow but good enough pace, glancing to his side upon this young girl who tried to tame her hair in the awfully bitter breeze. His ear perked up lightly to hear her name, Lillie; it almost seemed too angelic for such a girl as herself? His head slowly slanted to the side, taking a secretive look off her features, before his eyes snapped down to the ground they walked upon, as if re-phrasing her name over in his head a few times, before he could speak.
“William…” he replied in his soft but manly tone of voice, looking to her with a weak smile beneath those pale features of his. He didn’t mean to come across ‘odd’ or such, but this ‘Lillie’ seemed to make him feel a little peculiar? There was something about her that he just couldn’t drive his finger on, something that bothered and plagued his mind beneath the surface of his framed features.
Hearing her speak once again, William chirped a little laugh to himself, nodding as he looked to her once again with his daunting hazel eyes. “Could say that” his tongue trailed a wet lick over his drying lips, before speaking again “I just haven’t ventured far in London, for quite some time” he said more quietly, taking a heavy breath to his lips to give an un-needed sigh. “Blimey, just my luck to get lost, eh?” even though he wasn’t lost, he couldn’t help but deep down inside himself feel lost. Where was his real home? Plus, everything looked different at night, to what it did due in the day and most of all, everything’s changed since his era of life. William was perhaps a lost soul.
His head slanted again, about to say something to her, when his eyes caught onto her neck, tailing back those strand pieces of golden hair to show off her neck all that more. His throat burned in anticipation, wanting a fresh bite of that young flesh, almost feeling the warmth against his lips already. Slowly leaning his head down, he drew back his lips to cast his fangs secretly, almost ready to pounce, before a car suddenly burst out of the darkness, beaming its bright lights upon the two of them.
William’s body shuddered real tightly, gritting his teeth at the noise of the engine as it sped by, almost feeling deafened for a moment, but luckily for the young girl, it was enough to snap him out of his hungry state and get a grip on himself, taking a hard gulp down his throat as he looked to her with a weak gaze… He didn’t want to hurt her, maybe he should leave? Why did he even care!? But William did care for some mysterious reason. “S-So…” he uttered out of the silence, biting his lower lip lightly to try and get his mind off things other then ‘blood’. “Out late, get up too much tonight?”

Lillie kept her blue eyes upon the rode they walked upon. She felt his gaze upon her, but that didn't bother her a great deal. She could feel the cold grip of air around them close in tighter as they kept walking. The man surely couldn't be the cause for such bad air, but she couldn't keep her mind from wondering why such a cold air followed them so closely. As if enveloping them even more as they walked further and further.
She smiled lightly. "Well, London is a very big city. Sometimes, I even get lost in it." She said, it hadn't happened in a long time because she avoided the areas that were that confusing. But Lillie also often walked home late at night, either drunk, slightly drunk, or sober, it didn't really matter. Her feet knew in which direction to head, she could rely on them, providing no one else was about. Lillie wasn't one to go out and get drunk very often either, but she did like a drink every once in a while. Drinking in small amounts at social occasions made it easier for her to feel for her friends, although it might not have been the drink at all that created this.
Lillie saw the lights ahead of them, beaming upon them and illuminating the dark street. She was able to see the man better for that instant, he had brown hair and hazel eyes that seemed to burn, and she quickly averted her blue eyes from. He was, actually, quite good looking. Lillie looked back at the street, her hands kept safe and warm within her jean pockets. She bit her lip, trying to remember all that had happened and why for the evening.
"I was at Liz's house. She and I stayed at her house and had some drinks and watched movies. Nothing much, really." She responded. It explained why her clothing was as casual as they were, blue jeans and a pretty shirt. If she went out, she normally wore a skirt or something dressier. "What were you looking for that got you so lost?" She asked curiously.

It sounded as if she had a nice time out, drink, socialising a little, well that wasn’t no secret to William, he could smell slight tinges of alcohol upon her clothing, like the booze seemed to drool out of her flesh somewhat. It wasn’t anything revolting, heck; he’d smelt much, much worse. He tried to stay quiet, but not too quiet, he was afraid to know her too much – knowing that if he bit her he’d feel guilty, remembering her name and somehow, betraying her.
It was lucky the car throttled passed, snapping him out of the lure he was caught in, the lust to just taste her and drain her. She was so fresh, young and pure, most of all, she was utterly attractive and delicate.
He almost forgot the question he asked, as he slipped off into a daydream for a moment or two, looking onwards at the pavement they walked down, feeling the silence of the street engulf them again. Everything turning a daunting black or misty grey, the dead of night setting in, that lonesome feeling eating at his gut – like it always did. William never did think about turning any of his prey into vampires before, he wasn’t sure how they’d react, it was a blessing William didn’t even try to kill his own Sire for not allowing him that soldier’s death… The honoured way.
Smiling gently, he looked to her with a half cast gaze, as his eyes travelled down her body slightly to look over the casual wear she wore. It was funny how things changed every decade, fashion wise, and even if it was just casual wear. “Oh, right” he quietly said, as one of his hands begun to run down the front of his shirt, touching the buttons as it drifted down. “Hope you had a good time…” he added shortly after, giving her a gentle innocent smile, making sure his pursed lips didn’t spread to far to reveal those piercing fangs behind his cheeks.
William was a nice person, or so he hoped he was, just years of solitude and looking for answers drove him wild. He hadn’t even shared a normal conversation with someone in so long – just the odd word or something with someone, like when he attempted to buy something out of an ‘Off License’ with the money from his victims, trying to seem normal. He wouldn’t really classify that as a conversation, but now he tried to dampen his murderous blood-lust and face one of these mortals, who he once used to be, it wasn’t so hard to make a conversation now, was it?
“Oh… I was just, looking for answers” William bluntly said, looking down at the ground as the walked, looking to her slightly with a smirk “Heh, be buggered if I ever find them thou” a shrug bouncing off his shoulders. But then it dawned on him; maybe he just needed a friend? Everyone he ever knew was long dead and he’d never attempted to make any friends, not mortal ones anyway, surely it was possible? Who knows, he hadn’t bitten this young girl, as of yet, she seemed nice, beautiful, open with him. That made him feel good inside.
His hand drove down into his pocket slightly, dragging out the box of cigarettes, slowly popping the top back to drag one out, glancing to Lillie beside him as he held the box out towards her “Smoke?” he gestured, looking upon her with his crimson eyes, to quickly flint a light with his free hand, before those chilly winds picked up again.

Lillie watched as the night darkened around them. She was glad she had someone to walk with, it was always so mysterious and frightening to walk by oneself down these midnight streets, even if it was a wonderfully, beautiful mystery. She enjoyed the young man's company, he didn't talk too much either, more of the silent type. This added to the mystery that surrounded him, coupled with the strange foreboding air to make him very intriguing.
Lillie smiled, he was a gentleman, or at least he was being one for the moment. "We did, thanks." She replied. For the first time she really took notice to his half opened, light weight shirt. Her eyes trailed down it for a second and she didn't feel so cold anymore, she felt rather warm. She began to think about how he must be freezing....
She watched him pull out a packet of cigarettes and take one out. She didn't smoke, didn't mind those who did and didn't have anything against it. She just didn't like them. "No thanks, don't really like them." She said, giving him a kind smile. "Thanks anyways though."
