Phoenix walked into the local pub and sat down at the bar, immediately ordering a screwdriver. She needed to drink tonight, she needed to get the memories and nightmares of things long since past out of her mind. She told her sister she was going out for a run, which hadn't technically been a lie, she had went for a run...From their house to the pub, about a mile away. Still, for a werewolf, that hardly concisted of anything of consequence. Phoenix couldnt tell her sister what she was really doing, she'd never understand or approve, not that Phoenix needed it. Her sister wasn't there that night, didn't see the three vampires tearing their mother and father to pieces. Phoenix had been, and she would never get the sight out of her mind. Never.
The bartender slid her drink across the counter to her, and Phoenix thankfully grabbed it and took a long drink, sighing slightly as the vodka flowed down her throat, giving her stomach an instant feeling of warmth. She didn't drink often, but whenever the images were too vivid, Phoenix needed an outlet, and this was it. About once or twice a month, nothing serious. She lit a cigarette and fought as the lycan in her tried to rise to the surface, to take her to a place where she couldn't feel emotion anymore, simply animal instinct.

The pub was a welcoming spot for someone who needed to get things from their mind, or someone just out looking for a good time. Well Juliet wasn't ever going anywhere for a good time, so all that was left was getting things out of her mind and just letting into the sweet fire liquid. She had only been in London for a short time, but she was already having a hard time with it. There were to many people all the time, everywhere, and her not being much of a social butterfly it drove her nuts. It had only been a week and she had gotten in two fights with two different weremutts and was about murdered by a way to smart mortal with some fire. A shudder ran down her spinal column as she thought about it once more.
A sigh drifted into the air above as she walked into the pub. The scent of smoke and booze hit her nose like a freight train. Mind already knew this was a bad idea. Midnight hued opticals looked about the pub as the many scents were taken in and sorted out. There was a werewolf in the pub...somewhere....but the many scents kind of deluded it causing a hint of uncomfortably. Goose flesh rose on her partway bare arms as she walked to the bar and ordered a rum and coke, ready to take it slow. There was no need to get drunk yet, just enjoy the smooth liquid and let it slowly take over. Her form was clothed in a v-neck ebony shirt, a pair of jeans and knee high boots. Her long ebon tresses were brought up in a messy bun with two long tendrils that came to frame her facade. As far as she knew she was as good as safe in here...for now that is. The rum was sipped on, a smoke was lit, and she looked out over the people wondering which one was the weremutt and wondering if she needed to be worried. She hated werewolves, today was no exception.

Phoenix knew the instant that a vampire walked into the pub. When the door opened, the wind blew inside, bringing with it the smell of the paracites. She stiffened, taking another few long gulps of her drink, nearly emptying her glass. She looked around and caught sight of the vampire, and her muscles clenched and a low growl escaped her throat as her eyes narrowed on the vampire who looked remarkably like the vampire who killed her parents. Phoenix wasn't certian it was the same one, but she didn't care, they were all the same. All of them needed to die before they caused the death of the entire world. She gulped down the rest of her drink and watched the vampire drink her rum and coke, pondering the best way to get the vampire outside. She couldn't attack the leech in the middle of the pub, too many damn humans around. The last thing she needed was the tabloids to have a hayday with the fact that a patron shifted into a wolf and attacked a customer, who then turned out to be a vampire!! Oh she could hear the lecture with the pack now.

Digits wrapped around the glass as a feeling of being watched rolled over her like a tidal wave. Goose flesh rose over bare arms as midnight blues looked over to a girl in the pub. Werewolf. She could sense it, she could smell it. smelled of wet dog...a bit of dry humor. Juliet didn't want to start anything though, the girl wasn't bothering her, had really done anything to warrent the urge to start something. Not to mention she would be in deep with some of her own kind if she stated something in a pub infront of the mortals...course who would be there to say anything, really. She had no one...never would have anyone either, her personality tended to get in the way most of the time.
Mid nights shifted away from the mutt as she looked back around the pub. The feeling of the other's eyes on her got to be to much though. The emotion of having someone glaring at you got alittle annoying. Peds shifted to lift her from the stool. The bill was paid for the alcohol and framework moved to the back enterance of the place. There was no need to make a seen in the front. Juliet had a feeling that the werewolf would follow her, but if she was lucky she would be alright...course then again if it wasn't for bad luck, she wouldn't have any luck.

Phoenix continued to star at the vampire, her anger rising more and more. When the leech stood up, paid for her bill, and began walking towards the back, Phoenix smiled to herself. Well, I guess I don't have to lure the paracite out afterall, she's doing it for me. Phoenix stood up, drank the rest of her screwdriver, and nodded towards the bartender, letting him knwo to put it on her tab. She was a regular here, and the bartender was one of her good friends. Even though he was human, he knew of vampires and werewolves. And he knew I killed any vampire that came across my path.
He glared at me for a moment, knowing what I was going to do. Finally he just mouthed two simple words Be careful! I nodded before walking out the door after the leech. She checked inside her boot quickly to make sure that she still had her sais snuggled safely there, within easy reach. She wouldn't fight the vampire in the middle of the street, stupid humans had to be out, even this late at night. But they wouldn't be out everywhere, it was simply a matter of time before they came across a diserted streeet.

Peds carried her down the streets as she heard the back door of the pub open once more to let out one other person. The scent of the werewolf drifted on the air and to her lungs. A shiver ran down her spine as steps grew faster and longer in length. Juliet wasn't in the mood to get into anything tonight, not right now. Cranium shifted as she looked about to see a good spot to dissappear to. The darker alleys was a good place to lose a follower, but then again it was a good place to get your arse kicked into next week. A dark alley opened up before her as framework shifted into one of the shadowed spots. The railing to a fire escape lay infront of her, and up she went before dissappearing into a shadowed corner.
Now she was not hidding from the beast, no she was waiting to see if the other was truly coming after her...her best guess was yes she was the target. Digits slipped into denim pockets to locate the pocket knife that was stashed in there before she had left the house, truly now she wished that she haddn't gone out to get that drink. A hint of anger boiled to the surface as she muttered a curse into the thick air and waited.
