Lars sighed with the space as she planted herself where he was before a positive sign she would be coming along here to figure something she didn't even know what to figure.
He was confused, sitting in the hotel room. It was just all too confusing for his liking. First she's his enemy, then she's nice, then she's annoyed, then she's kissing him, then she's slapping him... Seriously? What the hell was he supposed to get from that and not be confused? He had a clear vision that he had been giving off the same vibe all night.
But he just wanted it to be over, and for her to make up her mind on what she wanted to know out of him. Wanting to know everything in one night wasn't specific enough, and he wasn't going to run off his life story over tea and cake, that he was for certain.
He looked down at his cigarette that was nearly down to the filter and took one last drag releasing the smoke with a sigh before disposing it in the ashtray.
He sat for a few moments longer resting his head on the back of the couch. The silence was horrible. He had almost grown accustomed to it, with no one to talk to in the past month but himself. But just because he had grown accustomed to it didn't mean he didn't think it was dreadful. Silence put too many scattered unwanted thought in his head, it was ridiculous, and left him in the same state he was in at the bar. Just mulling over it before he just did something to obliterate it totally, which was hard to do now.
But he didn't want these thoughts to invade him at the moment, mostly to avoid getting in a more sour-ish mood. Since his annoyance with Giselle had nearly plateaued. So he searched hi mind for anything else he could do to entertain his mind. He had a well used strategy that usually kept him preoccupied for a time, but he figured Giselle wouldn't keep quiet for long anyways.
Lars hummed Being For the Benefit Of Mr. Kite out loud while deciphering the words in his head. It had almost no chorus and was hard enough to remember the words, despite the fact his parents practically spoon fed him Beatles songs since birth. That's what Giselle needed, a good dose of The Beatles to make her see the light, no wonder he was such a softie.
"The band begins at ten to six when Mr. K. performs his tricks without a sound..." he sang monotone out loud before continuing to just hum the rest.

Giselle grinned to herself. Maybe it was working. Maybe just being quiet will make him talk to her. She kept her back turned and closed her eyes. It could work, but it could also backfire terribly on her. All she had to do was stay quiet. Be patient for just once in her life. That wasn't so hard, was it?
And then Lars began to sing. Giselle's first reaction was to tell him to shut the hell up. But she didn't. She stayed silent. She recognized the song. A Beatles song. Why would he sing this of all things? Right now, she really hoped that he was really thinking this time. She prayed that perhaps being silent with no one to talk to was the worst thing for him.

Lars inclined his head to see what she was doing being to quiet over there. Just catching a view of her back he let his head rest back to normal. She couldn't keep her trap shut that long, could she?
He knew he could restrain himself from giving into talking to HER, but talking or saying anything to himself was still in the question. And would remain to be his way of avoidance until she got tired of it all together. It didn't hurt him in any way, anyways. So the next thing that moved into his head he'd vocalize, why not? So far,it was keeping his thoughts away from the unwanted.
"I read the news today oh, boy. Four thousand holes in blackburn, lancashire. And though the holes were rather small they had to count them all. Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the albert hall... I'd love to turn you on."

Giselle felt Lars' head turn. Good, he was curious. She wouldn't let up though. She would win this. He will talk first. A fist clenched until her knuckles whitened when he began singing again. She would stay quiet. She wouldn't spare this silence. But as every moment went on, she just thought of more and more things to say to him.
Giselle restrained herself. He'd heard enough of her already. It was his turn to speak up now. But maybe this could go on all night. Did she really want to sacrifice this time with him because of sheer childish games? Yes, yes she did. She was a child. She was not an old vampire, but she was not unfamiliar to the world around her.

Lars sighed when no response came, out of annoyance or anything. He thought about a few things, nothing really came up in his head as a striking importance. But he was still not sure why he was here, or what she really wanted out of him. Because if she was really serious about them helping each other, even then, she had to have a reason in doing so. He knew he was just trying to get her to be a normal being in general, but it wasn't really hard, he just threw out a few good words.
But why would she keep him around? The fact that she willingly wanted to help him, and, maybe unwillingly yet, naturally, change herself, was not the only point she was staying or even trying. It was just all too confusing. She should be here alone, and he should be back at the house with it's haunting red and black walls just flooding himself in the past.
But no. He was here, playing silent games with a crazy girl who was acting all bipolar on him. It was ridiculous! But maybe that's why they stuck around each other, just for the curiosity of it all? Either way, he was tired of singing, even though he could continue the vocals for another hour if he wanted. But he himself had had enough of himself and her.
"What the hell are you thinking trying to help me, keep me here, kiss me,or anything?" he asked finally, wanting a direct answer, "Do you seriously find me so fascinating?"

A smile curled up Giselle's lips. She won! Giselle stood and faced Lars now, tucking her dark red hair behind her ears. She arched a brow and gave him "the look". Giselle crossed her arms across her chest and put all her weight on one leg, taking on an amused posture.
"You just have no idea. Do you really think I drank animal blood before I met you? Do you also really think I ever had a flashback like that before I met you? There's something going on here and I will get to the bottom of it. For now, it's your choice. If you leave, then I won't stop you. I will return to my fiendish and monstrous ways. It's your choice."

"God..." Lars let out in an exasperated sigh as he sat forward with his face in his hands briefly before running them through his hair and looking over at her. Could that seriously be her answer? More stupid pointless questions that were ultimately making her more aggravated with his answers? Seriously? That was no where near the answer he wanted. He wanted a yes or no, with supporting details, done. Note more questions for him.
His annoyance finally began to get to him and his impatience began kicking him in the temple. He was nearly minutes, or rather seconds from just walking out of the suite all together, not really the hotel intirely... since it was still daylight, but granted the place had an indoor pool or something he could sneak off to and never be found. Either way he was fed up, and it was about time.
"THAT'S NOT A FUCCKING ANSWER! IS THAT AN ODD YES? OR ARE YOU JUST TRYING TO AGGRAVATE ME?! AT THE MOMENT, IT'S PRETTY DAMN EASY..." he finished now standing with arms crossed mirroring herself. Once his anger was let out he thought processed better and uncrossed his arms with a still annoyed sigh and tromped back over to the bed he had first.
He plopped down on his back and just stared at the ceiling for a few moments before lifting himself up on his elbows and pointing his staring gaze at the odd patterned comforter on the bed. "This is definitely not how I usually am..." he said softly, maybe just to convince himself that a few months ago he was as carefree as ever.

Giselle felt like celebrating. he started screaming at her! She was so proud, she could tear up. This was more like it. The anger, the frustration, she savored this moment. Up until now he'd been as cool as a cucumber. Now he was showing his true colors. Anger taking control of him like a real vampire for once. HAH she won.
Giselle clapped. "Oh, bravo! Now that's all I wanted to hear! My answer is yes, I do find you fascinating. Why? Because of what you just did," she said smartly. Giselle eyed him and paced the room in front of where he was lying. She hummed to herself, she was radiating with pure and raw joy.
"You, my depressed friend, are quite fascinating. You keep all your emotions bottled up under that mask of coolness you try so hard to keep glued on," she put one foot on the bed and leaned on her knee, "And let me tell you something, buddy, you're going to need a lot more glue, stronger brand, too. Now, you don't act like all the other vamps I met. You don't let your anger drive you. You don't give into anything. I made you give into it. This just simply means that I got to you. I drove that anger out. This was something I thought I would never do!"
She returned to her pacing. "But I will do as you say. I will ask no more questions. That much I can give you to express my gratitude," she finished. Giselle sat on the edge of the bed, she stared at him with eager eyes and waited for his response.

Lars rolled his eyes as she spoke and got up fully from the mattress. He listened to her words, but strolled over the the large window with the heavy curtains keeping them 'alive' he gently ran his hand along the fold making it rustle out of place. If only he had enough courage to just open them with a whirl and curl himself inside letting the other just be gone. Or would he just stay put and put his existence to an end too? Either way, he was too scared to do it, and let the material leave his finger tips as he sauntered along back in front of her with half slit eyes.
"It's not that I aways keep it bottled up with wax.. or glue rather. I might do some of that lately... but I'm usually a pretty laid back guy...I don't get angry... often anyways.." he said slowly, but not sweetly, or normally, he was playing the angry thing for her, after all, she had almost insulted him, and he knew he really didn't have to play it that much... he wasn't always mellow after all, it just took a bit to get him severely angry. Luckily, he wasn't severely angry, and she didn't know anything that would make him so.
"...but you," he said placing his hands at either side of her on the mattress, looking up at her, "You're just annoying, and persistent, and moody, and cold, and... I just don't even KNOW anymore," he finished with a growl as one hand had 'magically' found it way around her neck.
"You just fuccking bother me," he said not even inches away from her face, so close he was sure he felt his lips brush against hers as he spoke.
He stared at her with searching eyes for a moment before pulling away quickly with a sigh. Would it make her angry if I blatantly disregarded what just happened? Ha. Whatever, I'll try...
"And..." he began his stance going back to it usually was, "It's not the questions that tweak me off, it's the fact that you don't ask the right ones," he said stomping his foot lightly, "AND that whenever I ask a question, I never get an answer I get more questions... when I at least TRY to answer yours..."

Giselle watched him with the curtain, she got ready to fling herself out of the way in case he wanted to try anything. He wouldn't though. She could just feel it. He was scared, scared of what life might be after this one... their death. She got brave and came a little closer to him. If she didn't know any better, she'd say he was still pretty angry.
She loved all the names he called her. It was music to her ears. Every word was completely accurate. She bothered him. About time. She squealed with joy. "Oh Lars-y, that's the nicest thing you've said to me all night! I am annoying, persistent, moody, and cold. All of those things makes me me!" Giselle hopped up and down.
What stopped her bouncing was a sudden tightening on her neck. She looked down and was pleased to find his hand on her neck. Giselle simply purred her satisfaction. When his lips nearly brushed her's she knew that this was the time to seize the moment.
She grabbed him by the shoulders, nails digging into the bone. Giselle shoved him effortlessly so she could get him on the bed. Sitting on her knees now, she ran her fingers through his hair, savoring the softness of it all. She moved her slender fingers down to his face, feeling his cheek bones, taking in every minor detail.
Breathing slightly heavier now, Giselle slid her fingers up his neck, noting the tattoo she didn't spot before. "Now that just turns me on," she breathed in his ear. She kissed him now, fully on the lips, trailing her tongue over the top and bottom agonizingly slow. She bit her fangs into his tongue, not too hard.
Moving back onto his neck, she jerked it sideways, licked her fangs, and dove right in, tearing flesh and taking blood.

Lars mentally sighed as she dug her fingers into him, he could have expected as much. But still wasn't prepared for it... But what was he to do? Well, he honestly could have just thrown her off of him, but, why not? Just to see... maybe, who knew. At this rate, he was just going to take it all as it came at him and decide what to do with it. Not to mention, they say the sex is better when you're pissed.
He willingly just placed his arms around her back as she trailed her hands down through his hair and neck, with a small half smile on his lips. He wasn't even sure how he was playing this, but, it was playing. Lars mentally laughed with her words of the obvious, "Oh does it now?" he said in a low whisper before he was hushed by her lips covering his.
Unlike the other time, he kissed back now. It wasn't really, all that sincere, though. It was aggravated, lustful, and yet not too aggressive. His eye brows knitted together with his closed eyes as she bit down on his tongue. He could play that, as he dragged out her bottom lip between his incisors as she pulled away from him.
He only opened his eyes in time to see her go in after his neck, and succeed she did, but not for long as his hands on her back quickly moved forward to her red hair and gripping it firmly pulled her away from him, moving her head firmly in front of his as he gave her a look of disapproval and still annoyance. He was never really into the kinky biting to the extreme, as to draw blood at least... and plus it was just animal blood in there, nothing all together that great as far as she saw it.
He still stared intently at her, while he still had grip to her hair, he could always give it a tug if she tried anything in the meantime. But he wasn't sure what he was looking for, that is until it struck him, and maybe he had found it, why he was so interesting. Their faces were close enough to each other exactly like how the little episode had started. "Do you care about me Giselle?" he said in barely a whisper, with still almost closed eyes, as he studied her eyes for the answer.

Giselle's hear leaped. He was really getting into this! She was also getting excited, a little too excited. He kissed her back now, this was new. She liked this a lot better than when he was trying to get her off of him. When was the last time she kissed a man and acutally meant it? A while ago. A long while ago.
The fun was over after she got him in the neck. He pulled her away and what a look he gave her! Giselle sucked in a breath. Well this just wasn't fun anymore. She pouted until he spoke. These words she never dreamed would come out of his mouth. Her head was spinning. Was he falling for her? After he told her how much he disliked her?
Giselle locked gray eyes with him, she could tell just by looking in his that he was 100% serious about this. Did she care about him. Well she didn't want him to fry, that was for certain. Did she love him? She didn't know yet. She certainly liked the way he was playing with her, though.
"I-I do care about you. If you went poof on me, then... I just don't know what I'd do. I'd feel mighty confused, though," she confessed. Giselle didn't return to kissing him. She wanted to hear his response first.

Lars paused with her answer moving his face back. His hands moved from her hair to one supporting his weight and the other attached to his index joint between his teeth in thought, and to prevent any temptation. Why did he ask that? He already knew that, he knew that back in the street, whether it was a romantic caring or not, he was mainly just thinking generally.
"You were confused when I told you, you cared, confused as to why you did, and why you and I were even near each other..." he said trying to figure things out for the both of them possibly, "But now, you've changed sides and said you'd be confused if I left..." he finished raising his eyebrows in thought. "Do you see how confusing that can be for me?"
He finished resuming his close position and his hand from his mouth. He was right again, this was his proof, she wished she was all cold, she tried to be. "I told you that you had a heart... You said you were heartless, now you're just contradicting yourself, love..." he half smiled to her in his blatant example as their faces were close again, "You're not that cold... I take that little.. compliment... back."

Giselle was disappointed, aww, no more fun. Now he wanted to be all serious. She leaned back but didn't take her eyes off of him as he spoke. She had to agree with him. She confused the hell out of him. Anymore confusing moments and the two of them would start screaming at each other. All she wanted to do was feel his body against hers, feel his blood in her mouth. She didn't care anymore, she just wanted to feel something.
Her heart leaped when he drew closer again. No more separation... she was a needy girl. His words hurt her, though. She refused to see the truth in them. No, no, no, she was cold. She was colder than dry ice. He took the compliment back? Did that mean he was insulting her now? She honestly was... confused! Her head reeled, this was all just too confusing. She tried her best to give him a good response.
"You're lying. I'm a heartless bitch, just say it! I hate humans, I hate animals. But all I want is blood! I want to feel the rich smoothness hot and trickling down my throat. I want to feel my fangs sink into a vein and then just suck the life out of my victim. Don't you get it? I can never being anything more than heartless and cold!" she shrieked, hysterical now.
Giselle distanced herself now. Did she want to be so close to a vampire who thought she had a heart? She did just moments ago. But how could he say such things! This just wasn't fair. He didn't like her, he expressed that enthusiastically and now suddenly he was all nice to her? Showing her some feeling and telling her she was actually a good girl?

Lars watched her back away and speak with a humorous interest. She was just confusing herself now. He figured she hadn't felt real emotion for a while, as most vampires, but Lars had only had a three year death experience, and in a few wonderful months of that was a great relationship, so he had it all still very fresh in his mind.
"I wont say you're a heartless bitch... cause it's a lie. I only lie to myself. Sort of like how you JUST did..." he said leaning forward as he placed his elbows on his knees. "You thought I was the one in denial... I lie to myself, but it's not convincing, but you..." he puzzled, "I told you, you have more problems than I do, more problems that can be easily fixed over some time. Mine aren't that simple...."
He trailed off knowing he had logic to himself at least with his words. She just needed to realize she wasn't a total, mean, monstrous, creature. He needed to fix a shattered heart and mind, or at least mend it to the point it was nearly two years ago, he could live with a faint heartache, but at this point it was horrible, lying always helped though... And he wouldn't consider it lying, it's reassurance, or a hope, who knew.
His voice became softer with the slight pause, "I don't think you're heartless at all... the bitch part.. well, I don't know, you need to sort of work on that."
