The desert. A home to sun-burns, and the salty distances that it may reach. Osir was out that night on a random search for something of interest, and of course, riding an old grumpy camel, by the name of Kiro. Kiro was an annoying beast, but Osir had to deal with it as this was a valuable resource for those whom were from the desert lands, and it was about the only thing he could travel by on that night.
"Stupid. Inferior. Beast. You know that's what you are, don't you Kiro?" Osir said nearly breaking his stone-cold face by laughing. It was a most terrible experience to put it in the least way, and Osir knew of such things as cars or other forms of transportations, but grumpy old camels never seemed to run out of gas--seriously.
Kiro grunted as Osir kicked it hard with the heels of his boots, trying to get it to speed up, and nearly bucked him off in the process. "Damn fool, that's what you are!" The ancient vampire growled as he fought to remain seated. The wind soon began to blow harshly, kicking up cool sand into the air it carried around--but luckily Osir was prepared for that. Once again, suiting up in his wealthy king-like combat armor, and his dark hooded cloak to cover part of his face.
"Or maybe I'm the one that's foolish. I should have known that the old ruins weren't out here. He thought, pausing briefly to speak up. "And a vampire, riding a lousy wind-bag of a camel." Said Osir, feeling very much angered by his dumb luck on this night. Oh, what fun! What freakin' fun.
Osir was pretty much upset by now, and as such felt the need to kick Kiro yet another time--soon finding that it wasn't his best idea yet. Quickly, the grumpy old Kiro knocked him off, face first into the sand, and with it came Osir as good as pissed. "Oh, so you think this is funny? Well, my friend, your mange-ridden tail is as good as dead, now!" Osir said, soon pulling himself off the ground to grab his sword and hold it to the beast's face. Just dumb luck! Especially when he was searching for something of interest! Great. Grand. Wonderful.

(Hiya. Hope you don't mind me joining.)
Sand, sand, sand!
Sand was everywhere...and Alexa was not liking it one bit!
As the Chicano teen trasped over the sand dunes, she grumbled things under her breath. Like how she was getting sand in her camel-skin boots, how her hair was going to get wind damaged, and how cold it was getting.
Lexi was meant for luxury and even though she had previousl been excited about traveling to Egypt, one of the few places the model had never been, she was now instantly regretting it.
Her dark eyes narrowed when she came to the top of a sand dune. Lexi squinted, trying to see as far as she could. A slight smile cracked her copper-toned face and she took a step forward, only to be sent rolling down the hill.
Her world was sent upside-down and all around when she came to the foot of the hill and made contact with something hard...and something cold. She blinked, taking a minute to get her bearings then sputtered out some sand. When she could see and had made sure that nothing was broken, Alexa blinked at the body that was beneath her. How did that get there?

OOC: Glad you posted. Osir was really ticked off now. As quickly as he tried to pull himself up to his feet to slice and dice Kiro with his sword, something, or someone fell on top of him, pushing more sand in his face. "Get. Off. Of. Me. Right. Now." He said, trying to push the person that had landed on him off, so that he could continue to rant about what a horrible night it was so far.
As he reopened his eyes, he saw what looked to be a young woman on top of him, whom of which he did not know. "Such a pest this is, really. Damn camel! It was all your fault!" Osir grunted as he changed the subject to Kiro, whom was being a lazy arse bum.

"Get. Off. Of. Me. Right. Now."
Alexa scowled at the rudeness in the man's voice. "Good god, sorrrrr-y," she drawled, rolling her eyes before scrambling to her feet. She quickly dusted herself off and cast the man another glare then glanced up at the camel that she had just now seemed to notice.
"Such a pest this is, really. Damn camel! It was all your fault!"
Lexi made a frown and walked over to the camel. "Aw, poor baby," she cooed and began stroking it's nose. She giggled when Kiro nuzzled her hand. "See, you just have to be nice to it. And not slice it..." she growled, glaring at him viciously.

"Why, should I? The damn inferior beast!" Osir said, grabbing his sword and once more pointing it at Kiro. "And just who are you? Why are you here?" Osir growled yet again, soon seeming to be rather annoyed at the moment. It was not often that others would venture out like this, to the deserts alone--unless they were bound to get into trouble. Much like Osir, but rather he knew more about it than most would, as being an ancient vampire from the eighteenth dynasty of ancient egypt he was.
"You're awful foolish to be out here by yourself, you know. Egypt has many secrets and dangers that it holds." He replied, soon trying to resist the urge to kill the camel. Dangers. Including me. Thought the vampire, sensing that she was only human. Dark. Cold. Sand. The desert was always cold at night, and seeming not to mind it too much, Osir pulled the hood of his cloak off to reveal his face in the moonlight.

"Why, should I? The damn inferior beast! And just who are you? Why are you here?"
Alexa continued to stroke the camel's muzzle. "Because they have feelings too," she said softly. Alexa's eyes were soft, yet intense when he turned back to Osir. "My name is Alexa Maria Lopez and I am on vacation," she added brusquely. When she pronounced her name, her accent was even stronger than when she normally spoke.
"And who might you be and what are you doing?" she returned the question with a smirk.
"You're awful foolish to be out here by yourself, you know. Egypt has many secrets and dangers that it holds." The teen's smirk grew and she laughed. "I've been in danger plenty of times and I've always managed to get out."

Osir sighed, as he tried to calm himself down. He really didn't need to be so angry. "Sorry about that." Osir said, soon pausing, only then to speak up again. "Oh..right..Introductions. Where are my manners?" He said trying to joke around a bit to get rid of the unwanted stress of the night's situation.
"I am..Osir. Osir Shadii." The ancient vampire said, trying to sound friendly. "I was just out, looking around. I haven't visited the desert in ages." Osir responded with a small laugh. Hopefully she didn't catch on to the joke.

"Sorry about that. Oh..right..Introductions. Where are my manners?"
Alexa smiled when Osir took on a more friendly attitude. Maybe she had misjudged him at first. He might actually be very nice.
"I am..Osir. Osir Shadii. I was just out, looking around. I haven't visited the desert in ages."
"Nice to meet you. Well, I already told you my name." She quirked an eyebrow when he laughed. "Soooo, you must have come here before, huh?" she asked. "Do you think you could help me get back into the city?" she questioned, giving a somewhat helpless and weary grin.

"Yeah, I was born and raised here, but if you need asistance then I will guide you back into the city." Osir said with the wind blowing some, causing more sand to flicker by. Was him being nice all an act, or was there something else behind his dark eyes? It was all just different than usual for him to do, and being nice wasn't something that he was used to.
Usually he was a very proud individual, whom loved nothing more than to pull the respect, and the life, out of those he met. Osir then shot another glare at Kiro, who was still being very lazy, only standing up when Osir gave him the command to do so. "So, Alexa. Should we head towards the city?" Osir said as he fixed his cloak, trying to dust off the sand from when he fell.

"Yeah, I was born and raised here, but if you need asistance then I will guide you back into the city."
The adorable teen grinned brightly. "That would be great! Thanks" Alexa exclaimed, dark eyes glittering in the dark.
Even though they had had a rocky meeting, Alexa thought they could get along great and Osir was very nice, even though he might be a bit aggressive. But something was familiar about him...
She shrugged off the gnawing feeling that he might possible hiding something and nodded when he suggested they should start heading back into the city.
Alexa's head tilted back slightly as she watched the camel rise to it's feet. With a slight smirk, she commented, "See, if you were just nicer to him, then he would probably obey you more." She then turned back to the beast, blinked, and then hopped up to try to get on, only to fall back to the sandy earth below.

"Need some help?" Osir asked, watching her for a moment, and seeing that she possibly needed help. "Camels can be difficult." He said with a small smile, soon walking over to give Alexa a hand. She seemed so young, and so full of life. Osir was hungry. But no, he would have control over himself on this night.
"So, what brings you to Egypt?" Wondered Osir, as he waited for her response from the previous question. As the cool desert winds blew past, his sandy cloak shook in the wind, sending somemore sand particles off. He was still in his ancient armor under the long cloak, and hopefully she did not notice it--or his swords for that matter.

"Need some help? Camels can be difficult."
Alexa's laughter chimed out into the desert darkness. Now that the sun had set, it was cooler in the sandy area. Once she was up, she settled against the camel, pressing her face against its next to soak up its warmth.
She glanced bak at Osir once he was on also and grinned. "Fashion shoot. I'm a model." These words weren't said with a cocky edge, just a mere fact. "We're doing an oasis theme!" she chirped with youthful excitement. "Bikini's and shirtless guards! It's hot!" she added, giggling at her pun.
