Christian walked down the street, a black blazer on and black pants. He had his hands in his pockets, and his dark hair was brushed back. His brown eyes scanned lazily about the area, looking for any signs of other vampires. He came to a worn down building, and entered. Inside there was a trap door in the back. He walked to it. Once he had in open he started his way down the steps, slowly, taking his time because things like this couldn't be rushed. Once he was at the bottom he nodded his head in the direction of a few guards. He didn't need to say his name or anything. They knew who he was, and what his being here meant.
Christian walked down the long tunnel, looking at random doors as he passed them, wondering what was behind them. He stopped at a door and sighed, fixed his blazer, and entered the room without knocking. He stood in the doorway for a few seconds.
"Hello, Massimo." He said politely and came in all the way, closing the door behind him. "I do believe you and I need to talk." He said, sitting down in a chair in front of Massimo's desk. "Its been awhile. So tell me," He'd been looking around the room, but now his gaze finally fell on him. He smiled, "How has the business been going?" He asked. Of course this wasn't the point of him being here, he just liked sizing Massimo up. Making him nervous. Also letting him no who was boss around here.
Its been so long sense he'd been here. He'd been far too busy with other things. Like watching Shaden. Making sure he stayed alive. Christian was more then a little pissed when he'd learned about Aubrey and Shaden. He knew right away what had to be done. It was all for Shadens good. No one was good enough for him, and as long as he was with that little bitch, the harder it would be to get him back to his old self. He sighed. He remembered when they would go out and kill all night. Half the time they didn't even feed off the ones they killed. It was just a game for them.
He would get Shaden back. That was a promise. He seemed to come back to himself and focused once more on Massimo. "So, Max, where is Shaden. I want to see him."

Massimo was already nervous as it was, he had lost Shaden. He wasn't here, and Christian was on his way here. He thought about running, but he would be able to find him easily enough. "Damn it!" He yelled and pushed his chair back away from his desk. He stood up and started pacing around the room. This wasn't good. Not good at all. "Christian is going to be pissed. I had one simple task and I failed." He sighed. "But it wasn't my fault. Its Aubrey's fault." He nodded to himself. But Christian wouldn't by that. He would blame him.
He stopped when he heard someone coming down the hall. He stared at the door, waiting to see if it was who he thought it was. When Christian walked in, he went and sat down at his desk.
He said nothing for awhile, just watching him. Trying to judge if he was in a good mood or not. He wasn't sure. "Hello Christian." He replied calmly.
"The business his fine and you already know that." He was careful to keep his tone light, rather then get rude or impolite with him. He wasn't one to push is luck so soon with him. He watched him carefully, wondering what was going through his mind.
Massimo looked away from him and stared down at the desk and the papers that covered it. He stared at the random numbers on the pages. Read different reports on different things. He froze when Christian finally got the the point of his being here. Massimo looked back up at him. "I don't know. He's not here." He said slowly, still fighting to stay calm.

Christian sat there without breathing, not moving. No signs of life came from him. He kept repeating what Massimo said in his head. He's not here. Not here. Suddenly he stood up so fast the chair fell back. "Damn it Massimo!" He yelled. "I gave you one small simple task to do and you failed. How the hell could you fail?" He asked, he hadn't bothered to pick the chair back up yet. He scowled. This was insane. He asked so little of Massimo. And he still couldn't even do this for him. He sighed, and ran a hand through his hair.
"I want him here. I don't care how you do it. Just get him here!" He said and walked behind the desk to stand behind Massimo. "If you don't get him. I promise you, I'll kill you. I'll burn your casino and take what money you have saved up." He said still in a calm voice. He wouldn't lose his temper yet. That would come later if Massimo failed to do what he was told again.

Chloe led Aubrey down the street, to the old building. It was falling apart and looked really old. But the building its self wasn't why they were here. It was the door leading underground that they needed. She walked in and went straight for the door, pulling it open and walked down the steps. She stopped for only a second when they reached the bottom. Chloe wasn't use to guards being there. But they said nothing to her as she passed. She glanced over her shoulder at Aubrey, and then faced forward again.
She sighed before opening the door, she walked in and stepped to the side so Aubrey could come in too. She said nothing and just waited for whatever was going to happen to happen. She looked at the man who started this whole thing. Who got her involved in something she wanted no part of. She knew Aubrey didn't believe she was sorry but she was.

Aubrey followed closely behind Chloe. She sneered at the guards as they passed. They weren't stopped, but then again if they would have tried to stop her she would have just killed them on the spot. As they neared their destination Aubrey could smell Massimo. She could feel the nervousness seeping from him. She could taste it. It hung thick and heavy on the back of her tongue.
Aubrey smiled. Maybe she would get to kill him soon enough after all. The fact that the other vampire was making him so nervous meant nothing to her. Massimo was shit and so was this other man. She could feel his anger. It danced along her skin and mingled with hers. Good. He was pissed.
Her black stiletto's made no noise as she followed Chloe. After almost a month of wearing them she had gotten used to the feel and the added height. She felt uncomfortable not wearing them, that was how familiar she was with them. She had also learned how to walk in them without the loud clattering. That sound had always annoyed her.
She pulled out her phone and typed up a quick message. She pressed send. She always tried to prepare for the worst. A little back up never hurt anyone. Especially when they wouldn't come down with out her okay. She slid the phone back into the pocket of the dark denim jeans.
She stepped through the door behind Chloe. She smirked as the door slammed behind her. She unzipped her fitted black leather jacket and pulled it from her body. Her hair fell in loose waves around her shoulders. She leaned the jacket across the back of a chair.
"I would like to see that." Aubrey plopped herself onto Massimo's desk. She looked over at him. "Funny that I threatened you with the exact same thing, huh Massimo." She looked back to Christian. "Who is your little friend kids?"

Massimo jumped back at Christian's outburst. He stood up, watching him closely. He half expected Christian to reach across the desk and wring his neck. He cleared his throat. "I'm sorry. But it wasn't my damn fault. It was Aubrey." He said almost desperately. Hoping Christian stayed calm like always and didn't kill him or something.
Then he heard someone coming down the tunnel. No. Two people. Chloe and Aubrey. He stared at the door until it opened up and they walked through. For a few seconds his eyes stated only on Chloe and then he glanced at Aubrey as she came over and sat down on his desk. "I don't find it funny at all, Aubrey." He said and looked at Christian.

Christian turned slowly to watched the door open and the two women step inside. He smiled charmingly at them, and paid no mind to the fact the Chloe didn't look so happy. He ignored Aubrey for the time being as he walked over to Chloe and kissed both her cheeks. "Its good to see you again, sweetheart. You did a wonderful job and you were such a good girl. Don't worry I wont touch your brother." He said softly to her, and then he turned to Aubrey. "Ah, my least favorite vampire. How are you? And hows Shaden doing?" He asked politely as always.
He stood in between Aubrey and Chloe and looked from one to the other and then realized neither of them had any idea who he was. "I'm sorry, I've been rude. My name is Christian Grace." He said smiling at them.

Chloe moved away from Christian with a frown. She didn't like him touching her. At all. "My name isn't sweetheart." She said looking away from him and over to Aubrey. And then away again. She leaned against the wall and crossed her arms over her chest. At least Christian was some what polite. He was still rude though. She felt like ripping his tongue out. Which wasn't such a bad idea really. She pushed her hair out from her eyes and turned her attention back to Christian, "So how do you know Shaden anyway?" She asked, watching him closely. She could feel his anger but he just looked so calm. It was weird. Nothing like Shaden who had a quick temper and wasn't afraid in showing it. That it of course except with Aubrey. Another wave of guilt washed over her. She sighed softly.

Aubrey chuckled lightly. "Oh but Massimo. It really is." She brought her eyes up to glare at him. She smirked. Massimo didn't have to worry about this other man. Aubrey was going to be the one to kill him. She was only sorry that she didn't blow his brains out when she had the chance. She sighed softly as she wistfully watched him. Next time you won't have an option.
She turned just in time to see Christian kissing Chloe and her pulling away from him. Any other night before this one and Aubrey would have broken both of his wrists for making her uncomfortable. She obviously didn't want to be touched. Tonight however, Aubrey didn't care. Make her as uncomfortable as possible. She didn't care at this moment.
When he turned to her, she blinked her large black eyes slowly. She was unimpressed and uninterested in anything he had to say. She laughed sharply. "I seem to be a very popular one to hate. I'm not quite so sure why though." She tilted her head and watched him. She would play his game until her patience ran out.
"I am fan-fucking-tastic love and so is Shaden." She smiled rather coyly. "I'm so sorry that you missed him." She didn't let her smile waiver. Christian Grace. Shit Any discomfort that she might have been feeling was kept hidden. She should have rethought the idea that she and Shaden shared. Neither of them wanted to really talk about their past lives or families. Maybe they should have.
She didn't like the way he was smiling. So pleasant, so polite. Horse shit. Aubrey wasn't stupid and the game was already quickly becoming tiresome. Aubrey kept looking at him. "He is a Grace, Chloe pet. Christian here is our darling Shaden's brother." hearing herself say it out loud made her dislike it even more.
"The question is, or at least should be, what do you care what Shaden does with his life or who he spends it with?" She made herself more comfortable on Massimo's desk. She didn't like the way he had stared at Chloe earlier. She glanced casually at his papers. "I am rather bored of people hating me and trying to keep me and Shaden apart. I am sick of people going behind my back and trying to screw with things that they don't understand."
She tossed a scowl toward Chloe. Aubrey didn't want her to even say his name. They didn't even really like one another. Aubrey mentally sighed as she looked Chloe over. She could have had Aubrey's power, she could have been the coven's co leader. She could have been Xavier's second. Aubrey was working so hard to make all of this happen. All for Chloe, and then Shaden and herself could disappear together.
But no. Chloe had screwed it all up. After a few moments she brought her gaze back up to Christian and waited for his answer.

Christian held in a laugh. "Ah yes. The reason I hate you..." He sighed, "We'll get to that later." He said walking around the room. When he stepped behind him and whispered for him to leave the room for a few minutes. He didn't want him around this moment. He moved back around so he could see Aubrey again. "I'm glad to here that." He glanced away at her next comment but he made sure to keep calm. He showed no signs that it had bothered him. "Yes. I'm sorry I missed him too, but I'm sure I'll see him very soon." He took a quick glance over at Chloe, and then away to Aubrey. "Yes, I'm Shadens older brother." He picked up the chair he had easier knocked to the floor. He pushed it to the side. He looked over at Aubrey in time to see her scowl at Chloe. Aw, poor girl. Aubrey hated her now. He smiled wider and walked over to Chloe and gently uncrossed her arms, taking her hand, and pulling her away from the wall.
He stepped behind her and put his hands on her shoulders. He smirked and looked at Aubrey, "Do you think she should die?" He whispered. "She did betray you." He continued, he played with Chloe's hair a little. "But then of course, she was afraid of what I might do to her, and her brother. Its understandable." He took his hands off her shoulders. "There was only one thing she refused to do that I told her to do." He pulled out a blade from behind his back. "It was simple enough. It would have saved me a lot of trouble." He stabbed Chloe in the back, around where her heart was. He twisted it only slightly. "I wanted her to kill you. Get you out of my way and out of my dear brothers life. But no." He twisted the blade a little more. "She wouldn't do that." He said in a disgusted tone. He took the blade out and pushed her into a wall. "So useless."
He looked back at Aubrey after licking the blood off and putting it away. "I want you to stay away from my brother. He's not some damn to for you to use and play with."

Aubrey watched him move around to Massimo. She watched his movements. Capturing every turn and gesture. She smirked. He wanted Massimo to leave, she wondered why. She mentally shrugged. It wasn't important. Not really. She wasn't here for Massimo. That would be a fight for another time.
She scowled at him when she moved behind Chloe. Right now, Chloe wasn't her concern. But she didn't have to like it. She didn't like the way he was touching her. She didn't like the way he was smiling. Aubrey just didn't like Christian. There. That was simple.
Aubrey shrugged. "Chloe picked her fate. When she decided to betray me and the coven. Her life is forfeit regardless of what I think or say." If Aubrey didn't care, then why was she easing off of Massimo's desk? Why did her heart suddenly feel as if was going to break through her chest.
Aubrey moved forward, his words lost in a blur of her own anger. If Chloe was to die she was going to be the one to do it. She slammed her fist into Christian's arrogant face. There was a lot of things that Chloe was. useless was not one of them. Aubrey slid her arm around Chloe's waist before she could sink to the floor.
She picked her up effortlessly and laid her out on Massimo's table. She smoothed the hair from her face before looking back to Christian. She hissed as she stalked back over to him. She slammed her fist against his face again, sending him into the wall.
She followed pursuit. She pinned his wrists back with her hands and growled in his face. "When Shaden tells me he no longer wants me I will back off, but until then you keep your damn nose out of my business." She brought her knee roughly up into his stomach. "And if you want me dead so badly then why don't you do it yourself. I am not so easily disposed of."

Chloe could feel what was coming, she lowered her eyes to the floor as he moved around her and put his hands on her shoulders. She tensed up and got ready for what she knew he was planning. She took in a deep breath and let it out slowly. It was simple enough. It would have saved me a lot of trouble. She felt the pain in her back, and then her heart. She gasped, even though she had been expecting it. She was then pushed into a wall. She put her hands on ion front of her to stop her head from hitting the wall. She leaned against it for a minute before she started to slide to the floor. She was surprised when Aubrey, held her up and took her over to Massimo's desk. Maybe Aubrey really didn't hate her so much after all. Or maybe she just wanted to be the one to kill Chloe. But either way Chloe was grateful that Aubrey had even helped her at all, for whatever reason. She put her hand over her heart. Damn that had hurt, but of course Chloe had felt worse pain. Both physically and mentally. She looked over and saw that Aubrey had him pinned to the wall, and she smiled.

Christian was too busy watching Chloe to see Aubrey coming at him so the hit to the face came as a surprise. In fact he lost his smile. He watched her take Chloe over to the desk. It didn't make much sense to him. If she hated Chloe so much why was she helping her? Oh well. He wasn't here about Chloe. When Aubrey walked toward him again he didn't do much really, "Don't be stupid Aubrey. Fighting me wont get you anywhere." He said but his words went unheard as she hit him again, sending him back into the wall. Before he could do anything she had him pinned, however this made his smile come back. "My, My, you are first aren't you?" He said and continued to smile even as she growled in his face. He listened to her little rant and then chuckled, and shook his head.
"Thats what I'm here for, darling. I'll make him leave you alone." He said with a smirk. "You don't know my brother. You shouldn't be getting involved with him." He said his smile slowly fading into a firm line. "I have no plans on killing you myself. That was Chloe's job but sense she wouldn't I'll find someone else." He said with a shrug of his shoulders.

Aubrey studied his features carefully. She had him pinned and it didn't seem like he was doing much of anything to change that situation. He was another egotistical asshole for her to add to her collection. At least she didn't think that this one would be declaring his undying love. She was rather bored with that speech.
She wanted to flick her eyes back to Chloe, but she didn't trust Christian. So she just gazed at him. memorizing every feature, every line. She could see the resemblance to Shaden. Christian features were more darker versus Shaden's bright eyes and light hair.
She didn't like thinking about it. She tightened her grip on his wrists and shoved him to the side. Closing her eyes she pull a gun from the waist line of her jeans. She slammed it against his mouth. He had an attractive face, she was tired of having to mess it up. She shoved him over a chair and he stumbled to the floor.
She followed quickly, crawling over his legs. She straddled his waist and grabbed a fistful of his hair into her right hand. With the left she shoved the barrel of the stainless steel 40SW Ruger caliber under his chin. She loved her guns.
She stared down at him with blank eyes. "I like to pretend that Massimo had a little crush on Shaden and that's why he can't just let him go." She raised her brow. "But I don't understand your deal Christian." She scooted herself closer onto him.
"Much sooner than later, Shaden and I are going to be able to do whatever the fuck we want. I will kill you if you try to get in the way of that. Do you understand me?" She brought her face down, close enough to kiss him. "I don't think that you can persuade him to leave me alone love, I couldn't even do it when I was trying to help him."
Aubrey licked a small trail of blood away from his chin. "Are you not man enough to kill me yourself?"

Chloe observed them, after sitting up. She watched Christian, making sure he wasn't going to do anything. She couldn't help but smirk though. Aubrey was always this way with other guys it seemed. Any guy that wasn't Shaden anyway. She laughed with delight when he was thrown to the floor. She slowly slid off the desk and stood close to them before kneeling down by his head. "I think I understand him well enough." She trailed her fingers down his cheek. "He misses his little brother, yes?" She asked looking at him. "You two were probably very close until Shaden decided he'd had enough with you, and left." She smiled sweetly at him before moving on. "You gave him space. Left him alone for a few years or so because you thought he'd come back, and when he didn't. You went out to look for him. Then you found him here in New York, perfectly happy without you." She glanced at Aubrey, and then back to Christian. "What I don't understand, is why you just didn't go talk with Shaden. Why you have Massimo lock him up, and treat him the way he did." She thought about it for a minute or so, and then sighed. "Maybe its because you can't fight, or you don't like to fight. Which would also explain why you wanted me to kill Aubrey." She sighed again and shook her head. "Well you are a little coward. Even Massimo will go out and do is own work." She stood up and went back over to the desk and sat down. "I think we should kill him just to make sure he doesn't cause any more problems." She said calmly with a soft smile.[/color]
