Aubrey stood in front of the stage. The small Punk-rock club was packed full of young humans. The smell of sweat, alcohol, and cigarettes blended in and filled Aubrey's senses. She smiled. Later this would prove to be a thrilling place to feed, but now she had her attention for the stage and the beautiful brunette bouncing around.
Aubreys eyes watched Addie closely. It had been too long since she had seen her friend and it was hard not to contain her excitement. It wasn't long before she was jumping and shoving others around with the crowd. This was fun.
It had always been fun when Addison was around. Aubrey hadn't realized how much she had missed her. Addie was complex. She allowed herself to be as close to Aubrey as possible, but there was always something keeping her from really connecting. Aubrey grinned and applauded with the rest of the club as Addie's song came to an end.
