Hayden helped Rose into her seat, and he took the one next to her. Hayden knew how to get the best seats, he simply ordered them in early february. He sat here with her, now, something he was not used to: company. Usually, it was just him, in the front row, all by himself, but tonight, it was the front row, with a girl. He laughed quietly, not in mirth, but a strange sensation had entered his stomach...it fluttered. The curtain pulled up, and the tune he knew by heart began. He even sang a long a little... "Good morning Baltimore..." he said, only too aware that he was not alone tonight. He felt embarrassed again and looked away slightly, but then turned back to watch the show. He leaned back in, closer to her.

Rose settled into her seat. It was the most comfortable seat she had ever sat in. The lights started to go dark and she blushed. She had never been in a dark room with a boy before, even if there were other people. She felt like it was only her and him. She scooted a little closer to Hayden as the show started.
