It was very late, the moon had risen many hours ago but Serenity didn't care. She loved the moon. She had just gotten off work. She tied the straps of her jacket tight. It was quite chilly. She loved walking in Time Square at night. The lights were bright and beautiful. She smiled and walked down the sidewalk. Not exactly sure where she was going.

He wasn't careless at all. In fact; Sevanni had been less clumsy then a person with good luck. Or maybe that's what he had. Tonight he was rather bored and strained. Everything that had been going on in the coven was aggrivating him.
Roaming the streets had been less then fun. He saw a few people he wouldn't mind taking a bit out of, others, he was not even interested. He turned his head a taxi cab slammed in the back of someones car. Sevanni assumed he hadn't been paying attention, and before he could turn his head around, he managed to bump into one of the mortals passing by. He assumed he would knock her down, but would grab at her before hand.

Serenity jumped when she heard an accident. She was daydreaming. Oh my! She began to walk over there when someone bumped into her. She left out a soft scream as her heels slipped from under her and she fell, flat on her butt. "Ow." She whispered. She looked up to see who knocked her down. Her mouth fell open slightly. He was handsome. Tall, dark hair. She blushed when she realized she was staring.

" I am so sorry."
He gegan empatheticly as he bent low to help her up. His hands grasping towards hers. Pulling her up he couldn't help but take a double look.
"Are you alright? That damn accident huh?"
He chuckled. It was rather funny bumping into each other like they did.

Serenity blushed and wiped the dirt off her dress. "I-It's..." She coughed and combed her hair. She was always nervous around men. "It's fine. My fault. I was daydreaming. The accident scared me." She smiled sweetly at him. "It is all good."

"Are you sure?"
He insisted on asking. He knew she was okay, but he couldn't help but feel bad. All in all, he was a nice guy.
"Listen...can I uh...get you a cup of coffee or something? Least I can do."
He grinned, his teeth partially visible through that crooked smile. He finally let go of her hand before he realized he still had it in his.
"I've never run onto anyone like that before. I feel so silly. Please, anything you want."

"Yes I'm sure." She smiled and ran her hand through her hair when he let go of her hand. "Oh, well, coffee does sound good." She didn't really have any plans. She blushed when he said he would do anything. "Coffee would be great." She blushed and looked down. She never felt this way. It was like she was in a spell.

"Great."
He said, turning his head to look around.
"Well I am sick of Starbucks. I know a quaint little place over past 52nd. If you don't mind a short walk?"
He asked with a smirk. He wasn't shy by far, and he thought she was a very beautiful woman. Still, he had a problem. He was a fan of the females.
"Originally from New York?"
He asked, hoping that they could be walking by now. His coat closed tightly around him as the chill of the moon began to set in.

"That sounds great." She smiled. "Lead the way." She walked next to him. "Well, I was born in Paris, France but I moved her immediatly on my 18th birthday. I'm 21 now so I guess you can say I know this town pretty well." She sighed, thinkin about her past, but shoved that thought away and smiled. "Where are you from?"

"Three years is a good time to know the city."
He nodded to his own statement. He did that often. Walking beside her, taking a corner. It wa small talk, but it was okay with him. He had nothing better to do.
"I am originally from London. I moved here when I was 26. Long time ago I guess you could say."
He chuckled.
"I was just in Paris over the weekend for business. Very beautiful this time of year. Why leave?"
His questions were simple, he was so much like a mortal in these things. Soon they would be approaching the cafe, fortunately, this one didn't carry UV lights like Starbucks. And, it was owned by a coven member.

"London, really? I've always wanted to go to London?" Before her father died he promised he would take her to London. "26? Many years ago? How old are you?" She gave him a confused look. Who is this guy? She shrugged it off and tightened her coat, it was getting colder.

Sevanni grinned at her question. He had been asked that many times, but he simply replied with 34. He looked older, and he dealt with it, but who cared? He's a powerful vampire. He didn't have to care.
"Out of the cold shall we?"
He chuckled. They had reached their destination, and he opened the door for her before stepping inside himself. Insisting that she order her drink before his. Sevanni wasn't much of a coffee fan, he liked hot chocolate because it reminded him of when he was a boy.
He shook the thought.
"Well.....if things work out between us as friends."
He quirked a brow while giving a crooked smile.
"I'll have to take you there sometime. I go often."
But he still didn't ask her the same thing.
"I'm so rude. I know it's impolite to ask a woman her age, but I have to know."
