Logan popped his collar as the wind started to blow. He had been out all night. He strolled into Central Park. Surpisingly, not a lot of people were there. He was glad. He needed some alone time. He found a free bench and sat down, closing his eyes. His search was going nowhere. He lost their trail.
He sighed and laid down on the bench, putting his hands behind his head. He looked up at the sky. The sun was beginning to set and he could see the cresent moon starting to show from behind the clouds. He wondering if his sisters were okay. He started sinking into his mind of thoughts.

Inora strolled slowly through Central Park for once in her life. There were no dogs pulling her at a break neck speed she was free to meander as she pleased. The breeze that was blowing pulled her bright curls off her neck and wrapped them annoyingly around her face. She sighed as she detangled herself but her frown didn't last long as she tilted her head back to look at the beautiful sky.
She had always loved the moon and it was hanging bright and beautiful despite the sun still peeking out above the horizon, bouncing light off the tall buildings of New York. She was walking that way, head up towards the sky when she felt herself trip. She managed to stay upright, for once in her life, but she did have to stop next to a bench in order to tie her shoe. She noticed someone laying on said bench and blushed, hoping they hadn't witnessed her moment of grace.

Logan looked behind him and saw a young beautiful girl leaning on the bench. He sat up and looked at her. "Are you okay?" He asked because he saw a faint blush on her face. He closed his eyes for a second, breathing in her scent. She wasn't vampire or werewolf, she was human. A small smile crept on his lips. Finally, someone normal.
He moved over so she could sit down. She really was pretty. He loved her blonde curls. They shaped her face perfectly. He looked up at the sky quickly when he realized he was staring. He looked back at her and smiled. He liked having some company. "I'm Logan. And you are?" He stretched his hand out to her.

Inora looked up from her shoe when she heard a voice asking her if she was okay. She started to smile but stopped as she studied the person in front of her. It was a boy, he looked about her age if not a little older and he was quite...well, dazzling. She mentally shook herself and smiled as she had originally intended. "Oh um, I'm fine. I just tripped over my shoelace." She said, finishing tying said shoelace.
She noticed him move over and she stood subconciously and sat next to him on the bench. She was oblivious to his staring, mostly because she was trying to avoid staring herself. She grinned as he offered his hand and she slid her own into his. "Hi Logan, I'm Inora. It's nice to meet you." Really nice, she'd only seen a few other men as good looking as him, and most of them were in movies.

Logan gave her another sweet smile. "I'm glad you're okay." He smiled bigger when she sat next to him. He moved a little closer but not too close. He just met her. He didn't want to look like some player or something.
He loved the feeling of her small hand in his. He shook it lightly. "What a beautiful name. It's nice to meet you, too, Inora." He smiled. He hadn't smiled this much since his mother died. He was glad she could make him smile. He missed it.

Inora blushed and pulled her hand back to her side. She felt shy and she hated it, but she knew no way to change it. "Thanks." She said softly. She'd heard the words before, telling her her name was beautiful but they'd never made her blush like this. She needed to talk to him, ask him questions, make him more human and normal in her mind.
"Um, so, why were you lying on a bench at sunset in Central Park? Don't you know that's dangerous? You might get mugged or something." Though he did look like he could defend himself against an attack. She blushed deeper and turned her head away from him, tilting it back to enjoy the sky again. She would focus on the sky and hopefully not make a fool out of herself.

Logan smiled sweetly, noticing her blush. It was cute to him. Woman didn't usually blush around him but than again, he isn't usually looking up. He nodded at her. "Your welcome." He picked a flower next to the bench and handed it to her.
Logan looked at her and laughed. "Oh. Well, I was actually just thinking. I didn't really notice the sun going down." He laughed again, his shoulders slightly moving up and down. "Don't worry about me. I can protect myself." He smiled wide and winked at her.

Inora fought back the urge to giggle as she accepted the flower from him. It was a sweet gesture, one the likes of which hadn't been made toward Inora in a very long time. Her smile was slightly smaller than normal because she was trying to hold in her girly squeals, those were embarrasing.
She blushed again when he winked and nodded. "Yeah, I can see that. You got the whole, muscle thing going for you and all that." She shut her mouth very purposefully and grimaced. She was going to embarass herself and she was already doing a fine job without talking. "Um, so what were you thinking about...if you don't mind my asking."

Logan smiled wider when he saw the smile on her face. She was trying to hold back a giggle. He leaned back and looked up at the moon. He loved the night. He really did. He laughed softly. "Thanks. I can't really help being all muscle. Just who I am." He closed his eyes and smiled.
Logan opened his eyes and looked at her. "Oh. I was just thinking about my sisters." He didn't say anymore. He didn't like talking about them. It made him feel like a failure. He couldn't even protect his own sisters. How can he protect someone else?

Inora laughed at his words, happy that it wasn't a giggle that slipped out. She sensed however, that her question had brought up unwanted thoughts and she frowned. "I'm sorry, for whatever." She laid a hand on his shoulder and squeezed gently. She had to take this conversation in a different direction, right now.
"So, do you live in New York, or are you just visiting?" She hoped this would steer him away from the unpleasant thoughts, hoped she could bring a smile back to his face. She figured it was as good a question to ask as any considering most of the people she'd met recently had been out-of-towners. Though she did hope that he would be living here, because then maybe she'd get to see him again.

Logan smiled when she squeezed his shoulder and put his hand on hers. It was cold. He frowned. "Are you cold?" He took his coat off and drapped it over her shoulders. "It looks good on you." He smiled and winked.
Logan looked up at the sky. "I live here. How about you?" He looked at her. He hoped that she lived her. She is the only person he really knows in New York. He is starting to get tired of being alone.

Inora shrugged at his question, she hadn't really noticed before but now that he mentioned it she was a little cold. She accepted the coat and pulled it close around her, huddling into it. "Thanks." She struck a model pose and put on her haughty voice. "Of course it looks good, don't all things." She laughed and shook her head, using those motions to cover up the fact that she was smelling his coat. It smelled good, though it was hard to describe. They were definately boy smells though, which Inora hadn't experienced since Haya had left. Boys always smelled so good.
She nodded and smiled at his question. "Yup, I live in this wonderful city, not far from here actually. I have an apartment all to myself." She blushed as she realized that some people could take that as an invitation of some kind whereas she had simply seen it as a fact to be told. She laughed in an attempt to cover up the accidental double entendre and quickly struggled for a topic change. "Do you have many friends here? Or am I the only one. It'll be good for me to know how much of your time I can jeoperdize."

Logan smiled and laughed when she posed. She was adorable. "Of course everything looks good on you." He winked and laughed. He smiled at her and looked up. Pretending he didn't see her smelling his jacket. "You can have it if you want. I have a million at home."
Logan's smiled widened. "Really? You live here." He was very glad to hear that. He laughed when she said she had an apartment to herself. "I live with my dad. He is paralyzed. I live near here, too." He put his hand behind his head and blushed. "Ya, you are my only friend. I don't usually get out that much." He wished she didn't think he was a loner.

Inora shook her head and laughed. "No, I couldn't just steal your jacket." She snuggled deeper into the jacket despite her words and pulled her legs up so she sat cross-legged on the bench. "Maybe I'll just keep it until the next time I see you." She said, to make herself feel better.
She felt saddened by his words, there was obviously alot of grief in his life with a paralyzed father and something upsetting going on with his sisters. She hoped that she could maybe bring some happiness to his life. "Oh really. I don't have many friends either, so I hereby claim you. You are my new friend and I am going to force you out of the house as often as possible. We are going to party and go crazy!" She laughed and smiled at him. "And I am as serious as can be about this, Logan. You need to get out more!"

Logan laughed and smiled. "Really. Keep it. It's not stealing." He smiled again. She was absoluetly adorable and he was so happy he met her. He grinned really wide. "So you're saying I get to see you again?" He winked at her. He really did want to see her again. She was amazing.
Logan laughed and smiled. "I would love to go partying with you, Inora." He blushed slightly and looked to the side. "Yeah, I know. I do need to get out." He smiled at her. "But now I have you and I can get out" He brushed a curl out her face. "I would love to be your new friend."
