Phoenix leaned against one of the trees in the middle of central park, waiting on Gage to come through here. She had left him a message on his phone, the number she'd stolen from Annie when she went rummaging through her room. She had to find out what this vampire was about who was dating her younger sister. Like hell she'd just stand by and let some vampire date her sister without her finding out if he was good for her or not. Her sister was very emotional, and Phoenix didnt altogether trust her judgement when it came to love situations. Yes, she had been telling Annie to go out and get a guy, but... She didn't mean a vampire. Sure, she was with one, but Phoenix knew how to defend herself...And Tarus knew that...He'll she'd spent an entire year before they started dating kicking his ass all over the place.

Gage got the message from Nix to go and meet her. He walked all of the way to central park. He walked along the gray concrete path. His jeans scraped agents each other as he walked. He looked and looked until he found Nix.
He ran up to her. He then got down on his knees and held his hands up to show that he wasn’t going to do anything to her. He had no weapons on him at all. He closed his eye and waited for Nix to do what ever she was going to do to him.

Phoenix smelled Gage coming before he could even come near her, her sisters scent still clung to him. She looked over towards where he was coming from, a slight wind picking up and blowing her dark blonde hair in all different directions. She stared at him in shock when he came to her, getting on his hands and knees, as though groveling before her. She burst out laughing. "Gage, get up, I'm not going to hurt you. That's not what I wanted you to come here for. Do you think I would have left my sister a message saying that we came here, if I was going to kill you? And have her angry at me for the rest of my life? I don't think so. I just wanted to bring you here to ask you a couple of things. What kind of big sister would I be if I didn't check out my sisters boyfriends? Especially if they just so happen to be vampires." Phoenix said, her arms crossed over her chest.

Gage looked at Nix’s feet as she spoke. When she told him that she wasn’t going to kill him, he kissed her dirty shoes five times, and then stood up. He looked at her with a blush on his face. He smiled a little bit and rubbed the back of his head. Gage stopped and looked at her.
He was glad that she wasn’t going to kill him, again. He needed to watch what he said or she might rethink in killing him. He looked to her. “W-w-what d-do you want to talk to me about?” He asked her.
