Mia squinted though the darkness, she had seen this park many times before, but never like this. Her pours were thirsty for something new, she craved something she had never had before. It was confusing, and it was new. However, she was new, and she felt it. She felt she was a more perfect version of her previous self.
The trees cast vast dark shadows over the park, she saw the homeless people sleeping on and under benches, she was somewhat digusted by this. Mia didn't deal well with pathetic people, she didn't have time for that. Despite her drug orriented previous lifestyle, she had never been homeless and was quite proud of that.
She understood she had Changed, and what she had Changed into, she however did not fully understand fully what being a vampire is. It would come with time she was sure, but for the moment she was bored. With her system craving a drug like substance she had never done before, the irritability surrounded her like a bubble, and the negativity in the air was palpable.
She was looking for someone to teach her the ways of this new life style. And as much as she hated to admit it to herself, she was looking for company.

Megan walked through the park, wiping her mouth franticly trying to get the blood off. She had just fed for the first time. She stopped in midwalk when she smelt another vampire. She smelt hunger and despair on the vampire.[/size]
Megan walked up to the vampire and tapped her shoulder."Excuse me. Are you in need of assistance?" Megan showed the girl her fangs so she would know she too was a vampire. Finally, Megan might get a friend.[/size]

Mia felt a tap on her shoulder and jumped. Damn it, she thought I did not want to appear jumpy. It was to late for that, she smelt blood on the girl. A smile played about her lips and as she spoke she curled her lip up over her fangs, in what she hoped was somewhat intimidating. "Hello, yes I suppose you could say that..." Not wanting to leave it at that she hastily added, What is your name?" She looked at this girl and wondered what she was, she wondered about her story. New to this world she could tell the girl had just fed, but not if it was on human or animal. These things she assumed, would come with time.

Megan stepped back a little when she made the girl jump. She smiled back at the girl when she smiled at her. "I'm Megan. And you are?" She could tell the girl was new, very new. Megan was new too but she did know a thing or too. "You look hungry." She gave the girl a sympathetic look.

Megan, her name was Megan. She allowed her mind to wander for a moment, to a time when her best friend was a smart preppy straight edge girl named Megan, or "Megs". When she spoke her voice had slight edge to it, as it sometimes did when she was... craving. "I'm Mia. And yes," she added with a low chuckle, her fangs bared slightly, "I am. Very. Have you any advice my dear Megan?"

Megan smiled. "What a pretty name." She saw a rabbit, hiding in the bushes. "Watch and learn, Mia." She walked very slowly toward the bush, her feet not making any noise at all. She reached her hand down slowly and snatched the rabbit. She bit its neck and handed it over to Mia. "You have to be quiet yet fast. Sneak up on it."[/size]

Mia was shocked. Not because Megan had just caught and bitten a rabbit, but because it was, well, only a rabbit. Once she bit the rabbit, the sweet smell of blood reached her nose, and she couldn't help herself. She reached out and took the rabbit, without a single word she drank the rabbit dry. When she was done she held the limp rabbit in her hands, she was full, but not quite satisfied.
"Thank you" she said, trying to think of how not to insult the girl, because she defiantly appreciated the help. "but I do have a question, thats how you hunt rabbits... What about humans?" She waited, feeling full of remorse for having voiced the question, she did not want to lose this girl as a friend, but doing things others haven't approved of had become a habit for her. Giving into temptation was something she did on a day to day basis. When she was alive anyway. Why should death be any different? Live life to the fullest, die death to its fullest? She was unsure of the parallels but she knew she needed answers.

Megan nods at the thanks. She was shocked though, when Mia asked about humans. "Well, I haven't actually...attacked a human....but I have watched other vampires do it."Now that she knew what other vampires smelt like, she watched them quite often. When her mentor wasn't mentoring her of course. "Well, if it's a guy, you usually have to seduce him. It's easy if you do it at a club or a bar. Once he is seduced start kissing his neck and than bite right in. With females, I'm not so sure."[/size]

Mia nods as she explains about seducing, it made sense, as that was how she was Changed. She was confused however, did once bite induce a Change? Many questions formed in her mind, she was unsure which to ask first. Instead of asking she said "The seducing works both ways I assume..." she paused, not for dramatic effect tho, but she was sure it did anyway, but because the next bit would be admitting what she was, as if the rabbit and fangs hadn't been enough. She continued "because that was how I was changed." She looked away into the forest, watching the late night activity of the park, basking in the moonlight, and knowing never again could she be in the sun.

Megan nodded. "Yes, I assume it can work both ways." Megan could tell the girl wanted to say something else. Than she did. Megan sighed. "Yes, it can be used to turn you into a vampire too BUT if you dont want to change someone you have to drink them dry! Every last drop." Megan shuddered, remember how she felt like her blood was almost all gone when the vampire disappeared.[/size]

Mia was confused. So many questions at once, if that was true, if a vampire bit someone, and turned them into a vampire, weren't they only giving them immortality? Was that bad? Shouldn't by now the entire world be full of vampires? It was to much to think about, how did she fit into this picture? Where did she fit? How could she even begin to see where she fit if she couldn't even understand the big picture. It was to much for her to take, she sank to her knees and with her hands pressed to her forehead she said "I don't understand, I really don't understand. I don't even understand what I don't understand!" her voice had risen to somewhat of a hysterial whine.
