Spur Texas. This is where Gage was. The moon was full and the winds where cold. The cold didn’t bother Gage thou. The sorrow of his dead heart kept him cold. But he was a vampire so he was already cold. He was in the Spur graveyard. It was December the Eleventh, the third anniversary of his grandpa’s death. He was looking down at the tombstone of his grandfather, Wayne Clayton Reeder. He looked at the details of the larg stone. Gage looked at the letters they said: WAYNE C. REEDER, LOVING FATHER AND GRANDPA.
He remembered it all so clearly, finding his grandpa’s dead body in his bed. The coldness of his body. No life at all. Gage tried to revive him, but failed, he was already dead beyond reach. Gage wished all to much that he could had help him, but he couldn’t. Tears weld up with in his eyes, he started to9 cry in sorrow of his lost one. The tears fell to the ground as he kept on crying. He soon fell to his knees and hugged the stone crying

Litte had been looking for Gage everywhere. He hadnt been seen in a few nights and that was unusual for him. She knew he loved going out at night and hunting down the humans who were to weak to fight back. Humans that were all part of his game. But no deaths came up and no trace of Gage. Where had he gone? She didnt know.
So she spent days trying to find him. But finally she figured it out. Texas. Thats where he would be. Didnt his grandfather die around this time? So next thing she knew she hopped on a plane and was off to Spurs Texas. She exited the airport and headed for the graveyard. If he wasnt there now she would see him there later. But he was there and it broke her heart to see him crying. "Gage...." She whispered.

Gage was still holding the large tombstone. He just didn’t want to let go of it. His heart started to hurt in sorrow. The pain was way greater now. He looked at the tombstone with tears in his eyes. The stone glared down at him. The tears got bigger and more came down. A picture of his grandpa and him burned his mind and gave him a headache. He didn’t know that Litte was behind him. His mind was only on his grandpa. More tears flew from his eyes.

It hurt to watch him like this. She had never seen him so sad. Not even on the night she had changed him. This was the first time she had seen actual tears run down his face. She had been crying lately because of all sorts of things. But she could keep that to herself. Right now he needed her help. If he would accept it. So she walekd forward slowly and put her hand on his shoulder. "Gage...." She whispered again. She knew he might still not notice her there. His pain was so strong. She could feel it rolling off of him. She didnt like seeing him cry.

Gage looked back at the tombstone. His eyes where still filled with many tears. The tears slid down his face and into the ground. Many sad thoughts filled his head. He want back to when he first found the dead body. He was twelve at the time. He was crying by his grandfather’s bed. He was asking himself what he could had done to save him.
He was pulling at his hair asking what he could had don to save him. Gage looked at the tombstone on more time, then he passed out. He fell backwards at Litte’s feet. He hadn’t had much blood in a while and had a lost of strength. He was still alive but in a coma like state. He needed blood and to be in bed.

Litte's eyes widened as he fell backward and passed out by her feet. She blinked and didnt know what to do. She looked around the area. No one here. She nodded slightly and then she picked him up and decided to carry him to a nearby place and then rent a hotel. He needed rest and something to eat. She could tell just by his face. It was much paler then usual and that scared her.
She carried over out towards the main street and then saw a hotel a little ways up the street. She put Gage down under the tree and then ran as fast as she could to the hotel. She got a room and then went back to him. The whole thing took about five minutes. She then carried him to the room and placed him down in the bed and felt his head.
She shook her head and then went back outside to find him something. She wouldnt hunt a human. No way. But she could find a squirrel. He would have to deal. It didnt take her long to find one. She snuck up behind it and grabbed it by the tail and then held it tightly. She went back to the room and held it over Gage's mouth and then bit into the neck and squeezed so the blood would come out and fall into his mouth. She drained the whole animal and then she buried the body.
She sat down in a chair by the window and just waited.

Gage was easily picked up and carried by Litte. He was still in his coma state. His heart was in so much pain and sorrow. He felt like this every time it was December the Eleventh. He couldn’t open his eyes yet. He could feel the soft bed agents his body. Tears where still falling from his eyes. He still saw the picture of him and his grandpa, in a nice hug.
Then he remembered the time he told him that he didn’t give him as much hugs any more. But at that moment the blood fell from the squirrel, into his mouth, and down his throat. He could see the picture of him and his grandpa start to fade away slowly. The he stood up as fast as he could. “GRANDPA!” He yelled with his eyes widen.

Litte was just watching the outside. The sun would be up soon. But at the moment she didnt care. She had the blinds widely open and she was watching the horizon turn a light pink color. She wondered how it would feel to burn alive. Thats what she felt like doing right now. So much drama. She was actually rather glad to be away from Paris. Not that she could stay here. She had to go back to Paris. No matter how much she didnt want to.
But she was pulled out of her thinking when she heard Gage start to toss and turn. She glanced over at him and knew it wouldnt be long before he was up. So she stood up and shut the blinds closed. He then sprang up and yelled out. She didnt jump at that and she just looked at him. "You okay?"

Gage breathed heavily for a while. He could remember the image of him and his grandpa in a tight hug. He looked over to Litte. He knew that she was watching the sunrise once again. He looked at her with his green eyes. His heart hurt once again. He quickly gripped his chest once again. His heart stopped hurting for the moment. He was in so much pain from sadness. “No. Sadly Litte, I’m not. It is the anniversary of my grandfather’s death.” He said gripping the covers of the bed with his hands. His green eyes turned sad when he thought about his grandpa.

Litte watched him carefully. She could tell he was in pain. Everyone had pain in their hearts. Even the vampires that no longer had a beating heart. They could still feel pain and suffering. Most people didnt understand that. They thought of vampires as heartless cold beings. She had proved to James that wasnt true. But she couldnt prove that to everyone.
She walked over to Gage and pulled the covers up closer to him. "You rest. I know it hurts. Just sleep for now. You need it. And then we will see what we do from there. All right?" She told him and then messed up his hair. She smiled gently at him and then went over to the chair again and opened the blinds only slightly. The horizon was turning a lovely light blue.

He looked at her for a little bit. She was such a good friend. He felt some friend love in his heart. He smiled at bit at her. His body hurt from the strain of not having enough blood in his system. He would need to hunt shortly. He smiled as she pulled the covers over him and messed up his long hair. Gage nodded at her words, laid back, and drifted into a slumber. He woke up seconds later. “Oh, um were are you going to sleep?” He asked her? He didn't really see another bed. Well his vishon wasn't that good because of the lack of blood.

(( Fax invited me in, Ali. This happened after Litte spent the night with Sevanni because James needed a reason to follow her ALLL the way to Texas. ))
Getting off that dreaded tube with wings was the best thing James had ever done. He hated flying, it honestly made him sick. He had to refrain from making a scene about the claustrophobic seats. He was squished up against a window next to this bag lady with... well this humongous bad.
The only thought that kept him on the flight was Litte. He knew she was in Texas and he had to warn her. A vampire, Sevanni knew about their relationship and he openly assaulted James. He wanted to waste no time in giving Litte this important piece of information because he didn't know how long she would be spending here.
He asked around and finally ended up in a graveyard. He saw no one there. He was forced to ask more people until he learned that Litte took Gage to a hotel.
James was on his way to the hotel when he spotted Litte darting out, grabbing a squirrel, and then sprinting back in just as fast. Something was up and he would get to the bottom of this. He went up to reception and asked for her room number. Receiving it, he took the stairs two at a time. When he got to the door, he pounded on it with one fist, "Litte! Let me in!" he demanded.

Litte walked back over to the chair when she tucked him in. She was looking back out the window slightly when he asked her where she was going to sleep. She just chuckled and said, "Dont worry about me. I dont need a lot of sleep. You just rest up and we will go from there." She told him. She stood up though and tugged the blinds closed. She didnt want to get burnt by the rays of the sun. She had been risking it already.
But as she walked away from the window she caught a femiliar scent. It wafted in on a breeze that the open window was letting in. She blinked and didnt believe what she was smelling and then there was a pounding on the door. She jumped slightly and whispered, "James?" She then opened the door a little and stayed in the shadows. "James?"

Gage smiled at her. She cared for him a lot. It looks like he found a new friend to keep. She leaned back as she tucked him in. His heart hurt in sorrow. He drifted in to a sleep. But the sleep didn’t last long as for someone had knocked on the door. He could smell someone but he couldn’t tell who it was. He just leaned back and waited for the events to unfold. He was a little bit weary. He hard the name James. “I hope it isn’t someone here to kill me.” He said as he laid back.

When James stepped foot into the room, he gripped Litte's shoulders, looking her over. Unscathed, physically, but what about emotionally? "Litte, thank God I found you. I had to come. I have to warn you about-" his last words froze in his throat when he noticed Gage weakly lying on the bed.
James nodded in his direction. "What's going on?" he asked her, curiosity shining in chocolate brown eyes.
