Litte stayed where she was by the window. She placed her hand gently on the cool glass and just watched the twinkling lights from the city sparkling. It was a wonderful sight and she never would have seen it if she hadnt come but she wasnt really thinking about the lights. No of course not. She was trying to understand what Sevanni was getting at. No faith? Did he really believe there was no faith? She had lived half her life with faith.
And it was true that she had lost the battle of faith versus reality when it came to her mother but she couldnt leave that tiny bit of humanity behind. She herself always wondered what was so different about her. She seemed so human. But she wasnt. She was far from human. And obviously a monster. Was that what Sevanni was getting at?
But she pulled her gaze away from the city when he brought her lifestyle and what she drank from. Wasting away her years? Was she wasting them away by drinking from animals. Surely not. She had seen other vampires drink from animals and they were happy as can be. But she didnt bring this up. He switched topics to fast. She could hardly take it in. But his last words caught her interest. "Show me what?" She asked him and turned fully so she could watch him.

"Aaah, well that's the question isn't it?"
Sevanni smirked and decided to give her a little bit of light.
"I know almost everything that goes on with our kind. Almost everything."
He placed emphasis on the last line. He knew alot, but definately not everything. And what he didn't know, he would know soon.
"I tell you that I like nothing but the truth right?"
He didn't wait for a response. He kept going. It was more of a statement than a question.
"I give you an opportunity to share with me something that perhaps would do you some good in the long run."
He stepped closer to look out of the window. There were swirls of light clouds coming in from the east side of the building. It was almost time.
"The sun is about to come out. You see?"
He pointed out at the sky with his index finger.
"While you are resting, others can walk freely out there. We look like mortals, only there is that hint of dead within us that tells them something is different. Something is wrong."
He sighed. Perhaps she had no idea where he was going with this.
"Your fate is in your own hands. I can not guide you if you are not truthful with me."
He held up his hand before she could even protest.
"Your choice now is....will you come out this evening for a night with those who are not of our kind?"
He quirked a brow.
"Or will you change your ways and do as you were created to do?"

Litte leaned back against the glass and watched him carefully. She had no clue where he was going with this but the fact that he claimed he knew almost everything that was going with their kind was a little frightening. She was starting to get a bad feeling about this but she didnt show her nervousness. And when he asked his question about the truth she nodded. She had been telling him the truth all night so he couldnt claim her a lier. It may not have been everything there was to tell but she had told him direct answers to his questions.
And then as fast as a blink the problem was back on her. But thats what this whole meeting was about was it not? Her. And when he pointed out the sun she turned and looked at the east in a panic. Even if she ran for home she couldnt make it. She was stuck here at the casino. But that had been his plan wasnt it? She should have known and gotten out earlier in the night. Now she was stuck.
So she swallowed and turned back to him and listened still. He wanted another answer to another question. And apparently her fate was put upon this one answer. She didnt know what to do or say because she didnt know the answer to that question. "I dont know." She answered in a whisper. "I told you, I go by chance and faith. I dont plan out my night. I just go with the flow. So whatever happens...happens."

Sevanni's preparedness came in very handy at this juncture. He looked at her as though she were foolish to believe in such things. In fact, he had already told her so earlier in the evening. He smirked, shaking his head a bit at her final words. He had no idea what he was going to do with this one. She was a mess.
"Faith and chance huh? Go with the flow?"
Sevanni had stepped forward, making sure to close the drapes and fasten them down before the sun had actually started to rise. His pressure was all inched and huddled into his shoulders. This was not going so well.
"Tell me, will your faith and luck hide you from the ties that bind us to the darkness? Can you go outside now? You have five minutes to get downstairs and make it home for cover. Hows your faith then?"
He quirked a brow, he was quite adorable when he did that. He knew it. He walked past her in a calm sweep, his arm raising as he was so tired of running with thoughts of her faith and reason, and diets, and whatevers'.
"There is a bed in there, your more than welcome to. I have made arrangements to stay out here."
He turned to face her as he was next to the small refrigerator. He opened the door, hoping she would look.
"Your faith is here. Blood, with no kill on your part."
He grinned. He was being a smart ass. He loved being a smart ass.
"The window shades shall remain closed, and you are free to do as you wish within the building. Since there is no sunlight within."
He grinned again. He had no idea what she was going to do, but if she was going to do it, she had to do it fast, or it was all day with Sevanni she would stay.....Five minutes. Tick Tock.

Litte glanced back at the window right before he closed the drapes. She had seen the sun coming up and she knew she had only a handful of minutes to get out of there. But when he told her that she only had five...she stopped breathing for a second. Five minutes. She lived to far to make it in five minutes. She was trapped. And he knew it. She knew that and maybe that had been his plan all along. If she was stuck her all day she would be forced to converse with him. Something that seemed dreaful at the moment. This was not what she wanted.
But she swallowed and hung her head after his words about the room and the blood. "I have no choice. You know that. Ill stay. But that doesnt mean anything. Once the sun goes down...Im gone." She told him and then lifted her eyes from the floor and stared him in the face. She meant it. She was gone once it was twilight. And she wouldnt have any of that blood. She could smell it was human. She wouldnt have any for James's sack. She didnt know what else to do though. Maybe she wouldnt sleep.

He smiled softly and nodded his head.
"So be it."
He raised his glass before taking another sip. He didn't do this to hurt her, but he did know that James would wonder where she was. No, he had done this to teach her a lesson. That was his thing. She had defiled their kind. Eating animals and not humans. Who ever heard of such a thing? Those who actually have done it never managed to live long. The fill on mortal blood is one of the things that keep vampires going. Not enough could wither you faster than had you been drinking like a normal vampire. Her choice would kill her in the end. He wanted to see if she could withstand it.
"Have you eaten anything? A rabbit perhaps?"
He chuckled to himself, and it was visible to her. He wasn't being rude, nor funny.
