He let out a chuckle as she spoke. "Ha ha. Well nothing you do will disturb me." He sipped the coffee and finished it in one gulp. He grinned and sat there as he leaned back and stared into her eyes. She really was the most beautiful person he ever met. "Your right on some things. You aren't small, just petite." He chuckled again this time more to himself. "But you are very pretty and much a lady." He smiled and cracked his neck. "Hmm food eh? I could join you in a feast perhaps? I prefer young blood, you?" He put his elbows on the table and put his head in his hands. He stared at her in awe. He didn't care what anyone would say. He was having fun with her and wanted to get to know her better. He only hoped that he could 'eat' with her or at least show her how he hunted. After a few minutes he sat up straight. He was a good 5'11" and was much taller than her, even sitting down.

“Hm... petite. I guess I never really thought of it that way, which is ridiculous since I shop for clothes in that section. Ha!” She laughed and smiled at Leto, then sighed and shook her head. “I may be tough, clever, blessed with a decent body, but sometimes I think God forgot to grant me a little common sense.” She looked at the man across from her, head cocked to the side and the short bangs falling carefully over her forehead. She was smiling a lot around this wolf, this Leto which was something unusual. I suppose it can’t be helped with his endless stream of compliments. Aurel mused, listening to his next offer. “I would love to hunt with you, my dear. I prefer young, but not too young. I hate to see a little one die without ever having to chance to really live.” Her face contorted with thought. “I suppose that would be on account of my childhood, though; I had three stillborn brothers.” She waved her empty hand, the other holding the now coffee-less paper mug. “Either way, a hunt with you would be more than enjoyable.”

He smiled widely as she agreed to a hunt. "Yes Anything 21 or older for me. They do need to know life first." He grinned and nodded toward her cup. "Another round?" He couldn't help but smile and laugh around his new friend. He was much more open with her then many of his own kind. He chuckled softly and put his hand up to her bangs. He pushed them back away from her face. His smile softened and he stared into her gorgeous eyes. "You most certainly were blessed." He blushed as he realized what he was saying. He got braver. "But your body is far from decent. It is more like a goddess. I'm sorry to hear about..." He shuddered all of a sudden and his face went blank. The moon came out from behind a cloud. It was full.

Aurel watched him grin as he agreed to a hunt. The last time she had hunted with a partner was with her old mentor, and it was a very bonding experience. But he had been a vampire; how hunting with a wolf would fare, know she did not. "But your body is far from decent. It is more like a goddess." She raised her eyeborw and smiled. "I've never been compared to the holy before. Thank you." Her insides were squirming with delight despite her sophisticated words. She listened as he continued talking... and noticed immediatly when he shuddered and stared over her shoulder out into the cold night. She turned around to view a full, plump, yellow moon. "Shit" she hissed, yanking him out of his chair by his shirt and yelling "Thanks for the joe!" just before they left the little coffeehouse. "Come on, dammit, Leto, come on! You can't change in front of the mortals!" But try as she might, she couldn't budge her newfound love interest further than the middle of the road despite her crazy attempts. A thousand thoughts raced through her head. Did he have control when he changed? Would he recognize me? Then the most fearful: Would he try to kill me? She let go of him and backed up. She watched, as curious as she was horrified. At least when she got to be a monster, it didn't hurt as much.

As Leto reached the middle of the road he howled and fell on all fours. He looked up at Aurel with sad pained eyes and snarled as his back turned black with fur. He yelped as his entire body turned into a wolf. He growled and ran into the park. He was fighting for control as he hunted for food.
He snarled as he tumbled and struggled to turn back. He ran around the park avoiding all the people but barely keeping unseen. He wished she could help or at least keep him still. He shook violently as he stopped in place and howled.

Aurel watched in horror as the man she previously had coffee with convulsed on the ground and looked up at her. "Leto..." The gasps of the few mortal who witnessed were ignored and discarded.
She watched him give yelps of what she thought of pain; her heart thumped with what little blood it had as he ran into the forest, leaving her shocked eyes full of worry.
What do I do? she gazed in the direction he had taken off, stunned and numb to the situation.
Run, her mind told her, Run after him! With a determined mind, and an ever-determined heart, she leapt forth into the forest after her wolf.
She ran as fast as she could, scenting for him constantly. Bushes and shrubs were torn and thrown out of the way; her feet butchered the pampered grass. She came to a halt and spun in circles, trying to smell that musky pine scent to no avail. Where is he?! Her anxious thoughts were shattered by a howl. She took off in its direction.
There was Leto, a wolf-man struggling on the ground. She screamed his name and grabbed at the furry appendages, trying to hold him down. "Leto!" she cried again, frustrated with his quick movement. She gritted her teeth and pinned him down with all her strength. "Stop!" The struggle brought forth adrenaline, causing her canines to extend and her eyes to shift form lilac to red. The blood lust came forth, but not for this creature, no; for the other thirty-four beings in the park that she could smell. Be still, my beast. She willed, both to Leto’s and her own. She looked at him with insistent eyes. Be still, my heart.

Leto snarled and bared his teeth as she pinned him on his back. He could no longer think straight. He bit at her neck as he barely missed by a few inches. His paws writhed and struggled to get at her flesh and tear her apart. He howled one more time and snapped at her face. He was getting closer and just needed alittle more time.
He suddenly calmed for a few seconds and stared at her with anguish. He whimpered loudly as he hid his teeth. He looked at her as a dog looks at his master when he knows he did something wrong. He titled his head back and let out a surprisingly loud howl.

She let out a frustrated grunt of anguish as he continued to struggle against his strength. Just as she thought she finally had him, he snapped at her face. Howling commenced, and it hurt her ears; the howl was certainly beautiful when soft and far away, but close up it was a weapon to be reckoned with. He stopped howling and looked at her with oddly sad eyes. She let up a bit. “Leto…?” He let out an ear-splitting howl, even to a vampire, and she covered her ears with a cry. Looking around for cover if he decided to loose control and attack, she jumped into a tree. He would obviously be able to chase her in the foliage if he wished, but the object wasn’t to get into a good environment to fight, it was to make it harder to do so. She leaned further back into the tree, positioning herself for a good jump high into the tree, and watched her wolf. You said you wanted different, she thought. Yeah, and look what I got. She didn’t have any regrets.

Leto rolled over after she let go. He stopped howling and shivered again. The moon was retreating behind the clouds again. He Growled at her and jumped in her direction to attack. As he reached about three feet from her he turned back into a human and dropped to the ground with a thud. He landed on his stomach and turned over enough to look up at her.
"What happened? Why Am I here?" He looked back down at himself to see that his turning had shredded his clothing. He was now cold and naked in the shadows of the tree as he looked away. "What did I do?" A tear began to leak from his eye as he looked up again hoping she would tell him what he wanted to hear. "Did I- Did I hurt you?" He stayed on the ground afraid to move or cover himself further. He bit his lip hoping and clenched his fists in anger and frustration.

Aurel watched him snarl with a lunge, and was about to jump higher into the trees away from him, when she saw the fur and snout beginning to recede. She didn’t say a thing, but rather cocked her head; eyes still a dark-maroon, peering down at Leto like a leopard in a tree. She whispered his name softly.
“What happened? Why am I here? What did I do?” She stared at him, wary if the moon should once again rear its ugly head. He paused and stared into the tree. He could obviously see her. “Did I… Did I hurt you?” She could see the tear stream down his face. She frowned, her brow clenched and her heart pounding.
“Oh, my wolf, glad am I that my beast is fastened by the chain of my mind.” She climbed down the tree, face first, and settled her head over his. Her voice came out a forced, tense whisper. “You killed no one, did nothing. I am unhurt; your beast but summoned mine.” She smiled, showing him her fangs. “The mortals who saw were few.” She noticed the tenseness in his body, and it made her unhappy. “Oh, my wolf…” Aurel sighed. She paused, stopping to look deeply into his eyes.
And then she did the one thing she least expected – she kissed him, careful not to nick him with her elongated fangs. She made it slow, gentle, full of apology and remorse. She wanted it to be her gift to him – her forgiveness filling the simple but breath-taking gesture.

"That's good to hear then." He looked up at her and smiled as she said 'My wolf'. He liked the way it sounded from her lips and finally got on his knees so he wasn't laying down. He was about to apologize when she kissed him. He went wide eyed for a second then immediately closed them. He could tell it was not a normal kiss. She meant something by it. He parted lips and took a small gasp of air. "What was that for?" He said smiling and licking his lips as he could taste her on his mouth. All tenseness and worry left his body and mind as he stared into her eyes and smiled. He couldn't describe the feeling he was having for her, and that scared him. He stood up next to her and held her in his grasp keeping her a few inches away. He totally forgot he was nude and cold. He kept her close wanting to take in her scent as he took a deep breathe. He took his hand and put it on her cheek rubbing his thumb against her temple and ear.

The kiss ended as abruptly as it had begun. To Aurel’s dismay, undoubtedly. “What was that for?” she faintly heard, head buzzing at his taste.
“Consider it my way of saying I forgive you, dear Leto. And…” she blushed, turning away slightly. “I was curious how you tasted.”
He stood up, taking her with him. His nudity was not forgotten, but she didn’t care. She felt his hands on her face and shivered. A powerful person to have such a soft touch – it was unusual, and welcome. Where most men were rough, he was gentle. Gentle where he needed to be. She watched him take in her scent. Aurel closed her eyes and laid her head on his shoulder. “You need some clothes,” she pointed out, not wanting to move but caring more for his sake. “My penthouse is near, if you’d like to go. Then again… we could always just stay here some more minutes.” She put her arms under his shoulders, curling them around his torso and settled hands on his neck.
She smelt him more keenly now, her blood-lust heightening her senses. “I’ll need to feed soon…”

Leto grinned as she reminded him. "I'll be fine for a few." He kept her there and sniffed her neck. He let out a sigh which struck her neck and ear. He felt her cold head on his shoulders and smiled. He put his arms around her waist and held her against him.
As she started to speak of feeding he lifted her face to look at him using his thumb and index finger and kissed her back. He made sure to make it long and sensual. His tongue slid out from his lips and ran across hers teasingly. His hand left her face and went behind her neck as he tightened his grip on her waist ever so slightly.

She felt his subtle movements, but was surprised when he kissed her. She felt his warm tongue run across her cold, stone lips. The simple gesture made her sad, made her remember how many long years her heart had been the rock she was made of. She returned the affection though, touching his lips with her tongue lightly, teasingly. She felt him push her closer to his body and didn’t resist, rather making her mass flush to his. His hand on the back of her neck sent chills down her spine. She felt herself push on the barrier of his lips, wanting them open, wanting to taste everything inside. She ran her tongue past the smooth surface of his teeth, careful not to nick his lip on her fangs. Difficult, but with practice, one could succeed. “Jesus, Leto.” She tried to talk in between kisses. “We might end up f*cking each other in the park!”

He grinned and opened his mouth to feel her tongue touch his teeth. He kept her there not wanting to let go and flicked his tongue against hers. "Would that be so bad?" He winked and kissed her again forcing his own tongue into her mouth. He loved her scent and taste. His tongue rolled around in her mouth teasingly. He pressed her against him tighter as he made his way to the tree pushing her against it. Her skin was cold and hard as stone but imaginably smooth.
