The moon shone brightly over the quiet landscape of the ever-famous Central Park in New York. Fortunately, there were few people around, so there was little chance for a big problem to arise. At least, that's what Vain hoped as he walked his three dogs, Kren (a small greyhound), Luki (a golden retriever/terrier mix), and Kurenai (a german shepherd/bloodhound mix). Because of his painful relationship with the sun, the was the only time he was able to take his dogs out for walks, unless he hired someone, but that could get expensive. The only things Vain had to worry about were his long, red hair attracting attention and the full moon above his head.
Suddenly, Kurenai stopped and sniffed the ground, then began to bark loudly, trying to pull Vain forward. Playfully, Luki jumped sideways onto the darker colored dog, nipping at his ears. Kren silently stood behind Vain's leg, ready to bolt at any danger, "Hey, hey! Calm down, Kurenai, it's fine." He patted the dog's head, pushing Luki away gently, and continued with caution. Kurenai only reacted like that when he smelled a vampire and werewolf.
Strangely enough, Luki decided to scout ahead. Slipping off his collar, he ran forward fearlessly, "Luki, get back here! Good god, what is up with you guys today?" He asked himself, following quickly.

Ali was walking around in Central Park. She had arrived in New York just recently and never got the time to actually go and visit it. Everyone said it was beautiful and she should check it out. So here she was, walking with her hands in her pockets. The light breeze felt nice and it ruffled her dark brown hair into her eyes, forcing her to move it behind her ear.
She glanced around at the tree's and open area. She loved the tree's mostly because they were so leafy and tall. One of her favorite hobbies was climbing tree's. Even now as she thought about it she wanted to go over and climb it. She headed off the path and over to the tallest tree she could find around the area and then jumped up to the lowest branch. But that branch wasnt really that low. She had to use a little more energy to jump up.
Ali then pulled herself easily up to the branch and she was about to jump up to the next one when she heard a bark. She glanced down and saw a dog there. She chuckled slightly and wondered where the owner was. Then she noticed him chasing after the dog and then scent hit her. He was like her but she could tell he avoided company. Also like her. She made sure she was out of reach from the dog and then jumpe down, landing on her feet with a thud.

Luki playfully jumped up and down and watched, panting softly, as the girl jumped from the tree. He padded over to her slowly and rolled onto his back, obviously wanting her to rub his tummy. Vain and the other two dogs arrived shortly, "Sorry, miss... he thinks he's such a lady killer." He said with a chuckle. As soon as he had seen her, he knew what she was. Kurenai stepped around Luki cautiously, sniffing at the new girl, but what surprised Vain the most was that Kren was now laying down instead of his usual "scurry behind master and cower" routine. If the dogs were acting like this, she couldn't be that bad.
Carefully, Vain stepped forward, slipping the collar around Luki's neck again, but not making him get up, "Nice to meet you. I'm Vain." He extended his hand, hoping for the best.

Ali smiled brightly as the dog rolled on to its back. She bent down with an easy, graceful movement, and rubbed Luki's belly. She loved dogs. She never hurt dogs when she could avoid it and she hoped these dogs liked her. She looked kindly as the owner walked up and smiled. She stood up and looked at the other two dogs and then the owner.
She noticed his hair first. It was long and bright red. But he had kind eyes. They were brighter then hers in many ways. Her own were almost black in color, but dulled with pain. She chuckled once again, her fangs somewhat showing when he extended his hand to her. "Im Ali." She said shaking his hand. She hoped he wouldnt be afraid of her and at least get to know her. Lots of people liked her.
