As she walked around the park, she kept her head down, and tried not to breath in the scents of people as they walked by, or came within 20 feet of her. She closed her eyes, held her breath, and counted to ten when she thought the desire might overcome her. Suddenly, though, she scented him. She didn't know how she knew, she just did. Her brother was here. She turned and saw him.
"Michael!" She ran toward him, hoping he wasn't angry with her.

He had been walking alone in the park, hoping his sister would show up. He was obviously hoping against hope. She had disappeared just like his mother, and for a moment he closed his eyes. He wanted to hit something. But only a split second later, he heard a voice that knocked the breath out of him.
"Michael!" He turned to see his sister running toward him. He felt his eyes widen, and before he knew it, he was running to meet his sister. When they got to each other, he picked her up in his arms. He finally set her on her feet, but kept his arm around her. "Gosh, Renee, where have you been? Dad and I have been worried about you." He stepped back, letting her look up at him. And for a split second, he found it funny that she had to look up at him when he was younger than her. But that quickly faded, and he waited for her reply.
