The pain quickly subsided when he saw the light, happy face of Ali and she couldn't help but smile. His posture then seemed be much more relaxed and friendly, and non-hostile which could have been a grave mistake seeing that he had never been here and it could have belonged to another Coven.
What brings me here? You.
He said chuckling following her slowly
It's my first time in California in my life, and it was surprising. to find others here.
He said looking up at the moon again, being an expert at astrology, he could calculate that there was about 3 or 4 hours left of nightfall before the sun began to rise, he had enough time to get to his hiding place that he had created when he got here so he wasn't worried in the least.

Ali plucked some more petals and gathered them in her hand. She then smiled evilly and jumped up and poured them out in his hair. The white petals were a large contrast to his hair. She smiled and folded her arms behind her back. She felt happy and care free. For once in her life she didnt have to worry.
But she glanced at the horizon and guessed what he was thinking. "How long is it until the sun comes up?" She asked him. She had just gotten into california and she was headed for London actually. But maybe she would stay here for a while. That was if she could find somewhere to hide from the sun. She had learned the hard way that sun hurt her. Then her mind went back to what he had said earlier. "I just left the place of my birth. I was actually headed for London."

Were you now?
He said playfully shaking the petals from his hair. London was such a beautiful place for Vampires. So many diverse cultures, it was so rich that if Vampires could go into the Daylight they would be mistaken for living beings. It was quite fascinating to live in such an area but Xavier had much to Explore in America.
We have some time to waste here before the sun comes up, if you don't have a place to Hide for Sunrise, your welcomed to stay in my Hide-away. It's very spacious i must say... I stay in an abandoned building about 10 miles away. Dark enough to survive but it's like a regular home. Like i said, your welcomed to stay.
He said with a smile.

Ali nodded with a gentle smile and said, "Yep. I heard lots of vampires were living there." She shrugged then and picked up another flower but this time instead of taking off the petals she placed it behind her ear, just like colbie had done. She wrinkled her nose at the sweet smell slightly. It was so strong and it overwhelmed her. But she ignored it and kept the flower there.
She once more glanced at the horizon. "We have time huh?" She said and then beamed when he offered her a place to stay. She folded her hands like to pray and instead gave him a Japanese bow of sorts. "Thank you so much. I have no where to go. You are my savior!"

His eyes widened in surprise and he snickered a bit. He would think that being here she would already have a set location to stay, but it appeared she didn't so he offered her somewhere to stay. It was the least he can do after she was so friendly to him.
It's not a problem, trust me.
he said with a smirk on his face, he had never offered such kind gestures before but he was beginning to feel peaceful and passive for a time in his life and he liked it. Xavier began walking down the long Cobblestone walkway aimelessly, he didn't know where to go first..but what he did know was that he was hungry..and he needed something to feed on and it wasn't going to be any wild animal...

Ali blinked in surprise as he turned. Where was he off to? But she glanced at Colbie once and then with really no choice, she ran after Xavier. If she didnt follow him, she wouldnt be able to find him later and then she was really in trouble. A vampire with no place to stay was a death sentence. But she had also seen the hunger in his eyes. She recognized that hunger.
She stayed quiet beside him as he walked and tried to think of something to say. Anything at all. She tucked her hands in her black coats pockets and somewhat regretted wearing jean shorts. But the t-shirt was perfectly comfortable.

He continued walking, the burning within his jaws was now agonizing. He needed to find food fast. His jaws clenched together as he looked at Ali and then continued walking. He could smell humans nearby but he didn't know if he could catch them or with Ali, should.
Ali, have you ever fed on a Human before?
He asked. Xavier didn't want to be gruesome and violent when he just met his new friend so it was appropriate to give her fair warning before he fed. The taste for blood was swelling in his mouth partially stopping him from talking all together..he just needed to get food, quickly.

Ali looked down at the ground silently and nodded. "When i was changed I hunted them only. For food. I regret it of course...but..." She shrugged and looked at him. She could tell he hunted humans. Just by asking that question. So she added at the end of her sentence, "Im not hungry. Ill be here all right? Go hunt and then come find me when yoiur done."
She gave him a gentle smile and then glanced around. She saw a tree and walked over to it. She jumped up to the first branch and used her arm strength to pull herself up. She then stood on the branch, keeping balance, and jumped to the next branch. She continued this pattern until she was halfway up and then she sat down.

Food..
With her reply he sighed in relief. He was glad that she hadn't been the kind to only hunt animals for food. As soon as she turned her back, Xavier vanished he sped off into the direction where he smelled his prey and he saw it. A Human female probably walking home late from work taking a shortcut. She turned around and saw nothing but darkness behind her and she quickly quickened her pace.
As she moved quicker, so did Xavier his movements were swift and silent and he approached on her rather quickly. As she saw Xavier she couldn't help but let out a high pitched scream before it was cut short when Xavier grabbed her neck. His sire taught him to crush its victims vocals so it would be a more stealthy kill. As his nail sunk into her skin you could hear bones cracking and her face turn in pain and agony.
Xavier had no sympathy, he had lost all of it with being a member of his coven. Tears streamed down the womans face as he bared his fangs at her causing her eyes to widen. He opened his mouth wide and dropped his head down into the womans neck and gently sucked the smooth, silky blood from her neck. The sweet taste of it caused his eyes to roll black in ecstasy. After several moments, he pulled his head away leaving a fountain of blood to pour from her neck and a few drops to drip from his mouth. The body went limp as he dropped her to the ground and quickly left the area. If any werewolves were nearby, they would make use with the corpse. Xavier side and began to walk back towards the tree where Ali seemed to take her rest...he was glad she didn't have to witness that.

Ali stayed on her perch in the tree and swung her legs back and forth. She was just staring at the moon. It was so beautiful and she was glad she didnt miss the sun. If she did, it would be a hard and very long life. She was sure she would have regretted every minute. But that wasnt the case. In her home town, the day light hours were hot and she almost burned to a crisp without having to be a vampire.
She then looked up as she heard a scream in the direction that Xavier had walked. He had found someone that quickly? It amazed her. She always took forever and when she finally did get someone, she wasnt very swift at killing them. But she got the job done. She just looked at her nails now and then leaned against the base of the tree, waiting for his return.

Xavier had crept up the tree sometime ago and look at Ali as she sat there waiting for his arrival, he then snuck up behind her and remained quiet and she continued to wait, of course she could smell him from a mile away. Despite that, Xavier always wanted a playful scare
Boo.
He said softly revealing his bloodstained face, he should have cleaned up before he got all in her face, it was the least he could do. Xavier looked at the moon, it was getting to be morning soon and he then looked at Ali.
We should get moving. It takes about an hour walk to get to the hide-away, come on.
Xavier said softly leading her to the hideout. finally, he had found a new friend.

Ali had closed her eyes when she had smelt him coming. She figured he would show himself eventually and she wouldnt have to go and look for him. And sure enough, he appeared. She smiled as he said, 'boo' and pretended it had scared her by putting her hand on her heart dramatically. "You scared me to death!" She said playfully and then winked. She took in his bloodstained face and could smell the sweet blood. She reached out and wiped some of the blood off his face with her finger and then licked it off her skin. "Hmm. Tasty human."
As he glanced at the moon she looked as well and she had a feeling they were running out of time. When he told her about the hours walk she nodded and then in one quick motion she braced her hands on the branch of the tree and pushed herself off to the ground. She landed on her feet with a thud and then she looked up and waited for him. "Are you coming or are you going to keep me waiting?"

Xavier looked down at her and smiled with a warm smirk. He looked up at the sky and lept off the Tree branch high into the sky, it was unreal on how high he had actually jumped and he came down to earth due to the effects of gravity and heavily landed firmly on his feet. He brushed his shoulders off from the dust kicked up onto his outfit and began to walk down the walkway. Xavier looked back and saw her behind and smiled warmly.
Are you coming or are you going to keep me waiting?
His words flowed smoothly like butter as his soft voiced echoed through the night as he begun to walk again hoping she would follow him, It was such a beautiful night, shame it had to end so quickly.

Ali blinked slightly as he jumped down. He was so graceful and she was....not. How was that fair? She had been thinking that when she realized he was ahead of her now. She smirked at his comment and then jogged up beside him and chuckled. "Too long of a wait? Or should I make it longer?" She said and followed him to where ever he was going.
She then walked in front of him and said, "But before we go anywhere. You better clean that face of yours. Dont want to scare anyone." She thinking about their safety but she had a small glint of humor in her eyes and really she couldnt care less if he cleaned or not. So what if some humans got scared?

She was right, he needed to clean his face off before he caught attention from Humans, it could start trouble and his Hideout could potentially be blown. He wiped away at his face with the arm of his jacket but it seemed to have little effect.
I should have done this when the blood was still wet.
He scrubbed at his face harder trying to get some of the dried blood off but it didn't do anything but cause friction on his skin which irritated it even more. He sighed and finally gave up on it and shook his head. bloody faces always impressed females, right?
