Lars looked at his food thne picked it up and took a bite. It had been a while sinse he had had real food. It tasted so damn good too. While he held the pizza in one hand he had the cigarette on the other. Take a bite, chew, smoke a little. That was the routine. Deciding the tension was up between him and the other vamp he tried to startt up a conversation. "So were are you ladies from?"

Bella smiled and sipped her coke. "I'm from New York." She said as she blushed and let out a soft burp. "S'cuse me." She giggled and took another bite. She was still curious about before but decided not to push the subject. She stared at Lars's eyes and spaced out."

She waited for Bella to state where she lived then replied. "Egypt, actually. And you live here?” She asked. She kept herself calm, a steady breath in and out. She took one more bite of her hamburger then pushed it away. She couldn’t take much more people food before she went insane. Taking a long drag on her cigarette she leaned her head back and blew the smoke up into the air. It helped to calm her nerves a notch more. Inhaling a breath of fresh air she smiled. “The air is so different here. Not as hot and heavy.” She looked over at Bella but then her eyes rested on Lars. She watched him closely but this time not in a hostile way, more just in an intrigued sense.

"Me? Live here? No fucking way!" he laughed. This was only his first day here and he didn't like the place. Not enough diversity. Too hot. Too, historical? He actually grew up and lived in New York himself. "I actually am from New York too" he said starting to munch on the crust of pizza. He mulled over Niara's homeplace. Pretty predictable considering her looks and name. "Egypt! Wow, farest I've been was London..."

Bella snapped out of her trance and smiled. "Wow me too." She stated the obvious and blushed. She finished the pizza except for the crust and sipped the last of the coke. She looked at Lars and grinned. "What you mean you don't like the heat?" She giggled and leaned back putting her hands on her head. "You should try Egypt it's beautiful."

“Egypt is beautiful.” The thought of home made her smile. Then again she was lonely there. “New York hm? I hear it’s beautiful there, in it’s own way.” She smiled, she knew that being in a city was like being in a whole different world compaired to Eygpt. “Well I’ve never been there, maybe I should visit.” She looked between Bella and Lars, a content smile on her face as she took another drag on her cigarette.

"Ew heat", he said frowing, "I like the winter time when it snows! And cool nights. Jackets are my thing, and I don't get to wear them here. It sucks", he said looking down at his jeans ant a plain white shirt combination. It felt plain, but simple was good. "If I think New Orleans is hot, I don't think I'll ever venture to Egypt. Unless the make a AC bubble for me," he said smiling. "New York still is the best. Well, London was nice too, rained constantly! Very nice."

Bella smiled at Lars as he spoke. "I like the heat. I can wear less clothing then." She giggled and blushed slightly. "Besides Egypt is so exotic and romantic." She slumped down and frowned. "Not like Orleans or New York. They are so blah!" She laughed and played with her hair. She was having so much fun.

Niara smiled, “Yea I agree, there is more fun clothing fit for warm weather.” She smiled, not that the cold affected her, but she didn’t want to be the freak wearing shorts on a 10 degree day. She smiled, “I’ve never seen snow before.” She took another drag on her cigarette and then snuffed it out onto her plate of uneaten food. She watched the embers die out and then sighed softly. She was enjoying herself as well but she really was getting hungry for something other then human food and it was gnawing at her insides, atleast I’m calm now she spoke softly in her head. Closed her eyes for a minute and then took another sip of water. Opening her emerald eyes she looked around, unsure of what to say next.

Lars smiled slightly at their less clothes statements. He tried to imagine himself wearing shorts...ever, and couldn't think of a time. Except for maybe while he was in his swim shorts or walking around in boxers. But he couldn't remember really owning shorts. He turned to Niara with her 'Never seen snow' coment. "Well, Egypt really!" he laughed, "To make ends meet I've never seen a mummy." It seemed he'd been smoking his cigarette with more long livety, years of smokiing practice must have taught him to savore it, because he still had half a stick left.

"Well I've seen snow but never a mummy. They look scary I bet." She sighed and leaned back in her chair as she gazed at the two. She giggled and propped her feet up on the empty chair at the table. "So whats after this?" She grabbed an ice cube out of her glass and sucked on it enjoying the coolness.

Niara laughed at the mummy comment, “Hey I’ve never seen one either and I live there.” She shrugged, they usually are pretty well locked up in those pyramids. Swallowing a sip of her water she glanced over at Bella and shrugged. What was after this, was there going to be an after? Leaning back in her seat she crossed her legs but stretched them out under the table.

Lars shrugged off the mummy jokes and focused his attention to where to go next. The parade was probably over by now. That only meant one thing, the after party. Clubs would be filled to the brim with the druns they saw at the parade, only they would be a bit more in the partying mood, instead of the parade mood. Partying moods sound fun. "Hey, wanna go hit a club guys?" he asked the two girls next to him. "That's where the after party is."

"Hmm..." Bella tilted her head toward Niara. "Want to go?" She smiled and swallowed the rest of the ice cube. She was kinda excited about the idea of a party in a club. She only hoped that she wouldn't get rustled around due to her size. She sipped the water from the melted ice and giggled. "It will be fun. Let's all go to a club. She sat up straight again and smiled wide.

Niara nodded slowly, now that she had calmed down she thought a club would be a good idea. She stood up slowly and stretched her lean and graceful limbs. Biting her lip slightly and pulled out a wad of cash from the inside of her dress and slipped a few ones onto the table for the waiter.

Turning on her heels she walked to the edge of the balcony and looked over, breathing in the warm air. She leaned on the fence of the balcony and took another deep breath, waiting for the other two to get up.

Now that she thought of it she really didn’t want to go. The crowded and stuffy area was enough to make her temper boil again she wasn’t ready to deal with that again. Running her thin fingers through her hair slowly she put on a sweet smile and turned toward the other two.

“Actually, I think I’ve had enough tonight. I thank you both for your company.” Too Lars she offered her smile and a, “Nice to meet you.” And then to Bella she offered a quick hug, “Nice to see you again Bella.” She pulled away quickly, not used to showing affection to humans, but she was starting to really like Bella. She took one last sip of her drink and then bid them farewell.
