Rose walked down the streets, letting the moonlight calm her nerves. She had been walking for hours, trying to find a hotel a stranger made a map about. Rose sighed as she passed by the same fountain she passed three times already. She sat on the edge and dipped her hand in the water, swirling it around. If only someone could tell her who she is...what she is...than maybe everything will be okay.

Home
Ayden was not far from it. Never before had she dared to travel this close to the place she used to call home since joining Patrick’s pack. She hadn’t felt the need to. Where she stayed with them all was her home now, not the hell hole that housed a crying woman ignorant to the world. But Ayden had to see her birth mother, had to make sure she was ok.
She had gone to the house and peered in but…saw nobody. Where was her mother? A person she didn’t recognize walked past her and Ayden couldn’t help it. She asked her what happened to the woman who used to live here. The lady said she was new to the neighborhood but had heard that this woman basically went crazy. Her next door neighbor, the Cartwrights, called the police one day for excessive noice coming from the house and the cops came and found Isolde going mad. Things were being thrown and there was a rage in her eyes no one had ever seen before. Isolde was then taking to a hospital and no one has heard of her since. Ayden had thanked the woman for her information and waited for the woman to leave before Ayden entered the house. She went straight to the room she called her own, got what she could and left. If she stayed any longer, she knew she would break.
Now Ayden was walking the streets of her home town with two bags, a back pack and a duffle bag. Both were filled with clothes, pictures, jewelry, anything that Ayden had wanted. Her head had been down until she smelt it. A vampire. Looking up, Ayden saw a red headed vampire sitting alone on a bench. That was odd…why was she so out in the open just at the fall of dark? Ayden walked up to where the vampire was, curious. This one didn’t look harmful, and maybe she could get some information on their kind from her.
”Is this seat taken?” Ayden asked once she reached the girl, gesturing to the open area on the bench next to her.

Rose jumped and looked up. "Oh. No. Sit." Rose smiled and patted the seat next to her. Finally. Company She thought.

This girl must not me trouble, or does not know what I am, Ayden thought to herself. That to her was a very good thing. Ayden smiled to the girl next to her, thinking, maybe she knew more about the girl then she knew about herself. "Ayden," she said, sticking her hand out to greet the young girl. It was bad, in Ayden's eyes, to sit next to someone and not know anything about them. Plus, talking to this girl might get Ayden's mind off of what she just found out about her birth mother. "And you are..." She prompted. "Why are you sitting her alone?"

Rose didn't know if she should tell her why she was alone. She didn't even know why she was alone. She didn't even know who she was. "Rose."She shook the girls hand while she thought about what she was gonna say for why she was alone. "I'm lost. Trying to find a hotel that I've been searching for for hours. Need a place to stay."She kept it at that. She wasn't ready to tell her why she was really lost.
