Upon her migration to France, Annie was trying to become a true Parisian. She picked up on as much of the romantic French language that she could, and tried to truly immerse herself in the culture. What Annie discovered through these attempts were many things: French people made wonderful opera singers, had beautifully scented perfume, and served the best coffee.
Annie was always asking her pack-mates to go out for a cup of coffee. Even in her days back in America, she was always drinking coffee; she was absolutely addicted to it. While some people got themselves addicted to cocaine or to alcohol, Annie's biggest vice was coffee.
So, today, the first thing on her to-do list was to grab some coffee. Annie did so, went shopping, brought her things back, and then asked Evey if she wanted to get espressos. Of course, Annie didn't divulge that she'd already been caffeinated. What she didn't know wouldn't hurt her.

(not awful, Love. -huggles rose-)
Evelynn was perched on the couch with her feet daintily tucked beneath her, while she read her book. Annie walked in with her shopping bags in tow. Evey marked her page, setting the tattered book down next to her. Turning her green eyes up to Annie, she smiled at the young pup. Evey saw alot of herself in sweet little Annie. They had both been forced into foster care in the states at a very early age. Although Evey wasn't tortured like she was, she had also been physically and emotionally abused. Both were turned at a tender time in their childhood. Evey at 13, and Annie at 16.
They shared a lot of history that Evey hadn't even told the other members of the pack. Evey made it her goal, if you will, to take this new member of the pack under her wings. She slid her legs out from beneath her, hopping up from the couch. She stretched her hands above her small five foot frame, and arching her back as she stretched her aching muscles. Her fangs elongated a little bit while she opened her mouth to let the loud yawn escape from with in.
Annie asked Evey if she had wanted to run and get a cup of coffee with her. ''Mmmmhmmm. I could definitely go for a latte or a frappe from Starbucks right about now."she agreed. grabbing her keys and an unopened pack of smokes, she pirouetted her way over to Annie. "Let's go pup" she said chuckling and tucking the girls arm into her own.

Before arriving at Evey's, Annie had changed into one of her new outfits. It wasn't often that she went shopping, but for some strange reason, Annie felt compelled to buy herself an entirely new wardrobe. Today, she was wearing a pair of skinny jeans and a rosy pink tank top. She also had on a fantastic pair of zebra-striped flats.
Tonight, she would have to treat herself to a mani-pedi.
Evey suggested Starbucks, and frankly, Annie was extremely grateful. This morning, she'd had quite a lot of trouble when she tried to act cultured this morning at a French cafe. Apparently, only knowing how to say 'merci beaucoup' and 'j'taime' was not going to get you a cup of coffee. So, asking in Bostonian English 'But how am I supposed to ask for COFFEE?' was not going to get you very far, and would end only in turmoil.
The people at Starbucks tended to be students studying abroad, because mostof them, thankfully, spoke English. Annie and Evey linked arms and walked out of the house. "So, what have you been up to? I'm thinking of throwing a slumber party tonight," Annie said. She hadn't actually been plotting a slumber party, but serendipity had pressured her into it, and it sounded like such fun that Annie gave in.

Evelynn could smell the caffeine radiating out of her younger sister. She chuckled to her self. This young one probably NEVER slept with all that coffee she was obsessed about. However, Evey loved coffee almost as much, and this she-wolf linked to her by their arms and their hearts, was her favorite one to go get coffee with. It was always more than a simple cup of that bitter liquid, or the sweet frothiness of her favorite frappes. They talked. They laughed. Evey got to experience her teenage years, like they should have been so long ago, now, with this sister. She was older than this girl by five years she believed, but that didn't stop her from giggling like an idiot with Annie.
"A sleepover huh?" she turned her emerald green eyes to Annie, eying her, quirking her brows.
"Well, we can talk to the other sisters, but if they don't want to, well.....I've been needing a Pedi.....we could just stay up the two of us." she offered to her. She loved her other pack sisters, but sometimes she just didn't want to share Annie. She knew she was being selfish, and That wasn't part of her personality, but when it came to Annie, that girl held a very special part in her heart.

It was a firm belief of Annie's that you could not survive without caffeine running through your system at all times. At any given hour of the day, Annie was positively buzzing with energy. As a result, the young blonde slept rather infrequently. She paid that no mind - it was useful for late nights, anyway. Which, consequently, Annie had several of. It's when she got most of her reading done -- in addition to her cleaning, cooking, and bad-movie-watching. She tried to keep her life as normal as possible when she was outside the realms of the full moon, but knew that of course, that was a far-fetched goal.
"Definitely. I'm up for anything. Plus, we haven't spent that much time together lately. Maybe it would be better just us two. We definitely look the best in face masks, after all," Annie laughed. The truth was that nobody looked good in a face mask, but that was pretty much the point, Annie had found.
Besides, Annie always had the most fun with Evey. She was just such a light-hearted, entertaining person. Shortly after joining the pack, Annie discovered that things got really serious really fast. Sometimes, Annie felt as though she got lost in translation, but Evey was always there to make her feel like she truly belonged.
"So, what kind of coffee are you feeling today? More on the simple side, or more on the crazy name side?" Annie asked. She'd probably use Evey's answer to formulate her own order, because quite honestly, when it came to caffeine, Annie would drink anything and everything.
