Darkness
Nina was currently lost in it. Not really, she knew exactly where she was, but she could barely see around her. She remembered back to a time when she told herself she would never go out in the dark ever again. Well, that turned out to be a bust. She took one look outside the window in her makeshift bedroom area and felt it coming on. That feeling she got when the images were coming to her. The emotion was building as she sat on her bed until she couldn’t take it anymore. She had to get out into the dark and paint, but down on the canvas what this night meant to her. There was nothing special about this day, just the feelings. That’s all that mattered.
So Nina had taken her sketch pad and pencil set out and found a small bench not too far from where the apartment complex she was currently residing in and simply sat down and began to sketch. Not too many people were out at this time of night, which sort-of upset Nina. She wanted to be able to capture a busy night life, they way this area normally was. But she was fine with what she got, since this was all she needed. Nina felt as if she had been sketching for ever, her sketch book was almost full now. She had done almost 15 sketches, all seeming to miss something. In frustration, Nina threw the pencil she was currently using into the street and her sketch book to the side of her. Maybe this just wasn’t her night.

Ah what a nice night to be out. Well night is the only time you can be out when you’re a vampire. Alucard didn’t care thou, he liked the nighttime. He had brought Lissa to Paris for fun. He wanted to show her all of the sites of Paris. He looked back every now and then to check and see if she was behind him. He looked back to find her following him. “What do you wish to do girl?” He asked her. Then he spotted a girl getting mad and throwing things. He walked over to her. “What is wrong? Why are you drawing in the dark?” He asked her. He looked to see if Lissa was behind him. He gave her a come-over-here single. Then he turned back to the woman.

Lissa was following Alucard around all over the place. Ever since he had changed her she had become like a little puppy following around its mother. She refused to be split from him for more then a few moments and when they went to sleep in the mornings. So Paris for her was a special treat. She felt excited to be here. She had always wanted to come here. She had seen the sights and attraction on TV and they looked so spectacular. So she was stunned she could actually come and see it.
Ever since she had been changed she had been seeing places. She liked Alucard a lot to. He had saved her and she was forever grateful and so she would do whatever he said. Even now when he looked back to make sure she was following she hoped she could make him proud. So she pushed her curiosity aside and just followed him. She stopped though when she saw the other girl. She didnt know if she should stay back.
But then Alucard gestured her over and so she pulled down her baseball cap and hugged her coat closer to herself and went over to him. She stayed silent though. She wasnt much of a talker and she didnt know how to react around people. It was all thanks to her no good evil foster father for beating her. He had beaten the social part out of her. So she was as quiet as a little butterfly.

Nina sighed but stiffened as she felt a presence next to her. Then she heard that of a male voice. Looking up, Nina saw a face of a very handsome man and a younger girl standing next to him. Her eyes widen at the sight of the beautiful people and she couldn’t help but blush at how she made a fool of herself in front of them. Nina smiled shyly and went to pick up her pencil which were scattered on the ground.
”My picture wasn’t coming out right.” Nina said simply as she finished up picking up her sketching pencils. Sitting back on the bench, Nina grabbed her sketch pad and closed it quickly before anyone could see inside of it.
”As for why I was drawing in the dark well…” She sighed and turned to the beautiful man. ”It spoke to me. Simple as that.” Nina stuck out her hand to the man, to properly introduce herself. Her manners were strong due to her life growing up below others in the orphanage. ”Nina…Nina Bane.”
