"No need to rush, Love. I've got time." Evelynn heard him say as she went into her bedroom. She went back to rifling through her closet, searching for her lost shoe. "Make your self at home Jeremiah. I'll only be a minute." she called out to him.
Her apartment was a little bare. Most of her things, necessities if you will, were moved into the pack house last night. Eve wanted to keep her little apartment because she loved it. She loved the coziness of the flat and she had put a lot of time into decorating it to make it fit her personality. She knew it was dangerous to be out on her own, but this flat was her personal space, space she needed badly.
She had an antique canopied bed made of black iron and swathed in sheer black drapes. The pictures on her walls were black and white photos she had taken through out the years. Romantic inducing pictures. And a flip flop sitting at the foot of the bed in plain sight.
Sheesh. Theres one. she thought and snatched it up from the floor, slipping it onto her delicate left foot. She turned away from her closet, deciding the other one wasn't in there. She pranced into the living room where she thought Jeremiah was.
"I found one." she said smiling. She noticed her sunglasses were sticking out between her small French imported chaise lounge. She swept them up and stuck them atop her glossy black curls.
"Two down, one to go, love." she said winking, when out of the corner of her eye she spotted the missing flop to her all ready found flip under her black iron bistro table. Evelynn picked that one up and slipped it onto the bare foot. Turning her emerald green eyes to him she said, "Okay. I'm ready. How about you?"
