Ali was at the bar in London. It was rather busy and people were milling about. Buying drinks here, yelling there. Smoke covered the tops of the pub and it made it seem hazy. But she wasnt paying attention to that. She wasnt really paying attention to any of that. She wasnt even listening to the pool tables, and their loud clacks as they hit the cue ball with the stick.
No. She was here to just drink. She knew it was pointless to even try and get drunk. It woldnt effect her at all. But what was wrong with trying? And if she wanted maybe she could challenge someone to a drinking game. She would win unless it was another vampire. But it would be fun to beat a human out of money when they didnt know what they were getting themselves into.
The bar tender came over and noticed her drawing circles on the wood of the bar where she was sitting. The stool was uncomfortable but she would rather be here then on the tables spread out around the place. She knew the bar tender pretty well. She knew she wasnt the only one. Aubrey and Xavier and even Michaels scent were present here.
He just leaned against the counter and gave her a look of sympathy. "What will it be darling? The normal?" He asked her and she had to laugh. Did she come here that often that she had a normal? But she nodded and in a matter of minutes she had a large bottle of scotch and a shot glass in front of her.
She glanced around at all the people and then smiled a toothy grin. She picked up the shot glass that had some scotch in it. That bottle would be gone by the end of the night. Maybe even before that. She sighed, shrugged, and then said, "Bottoms up!" Then she chugged down the shot.

"Hey doll face. What's your call?"
"Read'em and weep, fellas. Royal flush!"
A loud groan seemed to echo from all around the table as Kia attempted to scoop up all of her winnings in the middle of the table. Tonight had been a pretty good night, and she wasn't even all that drunk. Ignoring the mutterings of her opponents at cards, the she-wolf began folding up the various bills and stuffed the remaining coin pounds into her pockets.
Kia only had a couple of shots of tequila, a thing of scotch on the rocks, and a couple of beers. Not enough to get her buzzed, but just where she could feel the haziness creeping around her eyes and throwing her senses just a teensy bit off balance. However, that did nothing to throw her game off.
"Alright, I do believe I'm calling it a night Gents." she stated while standing up from her chair. "It's been a real pleasure."
As she turned to make her way toward the bar to ask the barkeep for a fresh drink, Kokia felt a hand encircling its fingers around her wrist; hard. Ebony brow twitching, Kia allowed only her head to move just a bit as her cerulean orbs glared down at the arrogant individual who decided to hold fast to her. It was a random werewolf she'd encountered coming into the place and he'd decided to bring up this whole idea of playing cards.
"Now hold on one second, babe." he spoke, words slightly slurred. "Where do you think you're going?"
Eyes narrowing, Kia allowed a dark smirk to play on her lips. "What's wrong? Now that I stripped your ass bare, you want to take my hard-earned money by force?"
The brute growled, his dark brown orbs glinting with rage. "That was a shady game of cards and you know it!"
"Oh-HO!" scoffed Kia as she attempted to yank her hand free. "Shady, was it? Shady because I caught you trying to slip that ace out from under your sleeve or shady because I actually made you play a fair game of cards? Now, if you'd be so kind..." Kia jerked her hand free just as the male stood up to his full height and glared down at her.
"Who do you think you are? You're like me and yet you insist on behaving like this. Don't you know the law of dominance or don't you?" snapped the male werewolf as he grabbed Kia by the collars of her jacket and pulled her forward. She could feel his claws tearing in through the material of her jacket which caused her brows to furrow angrily; blue eyes moving slowly to glare down at his hands.
"If you know what's best for you, friend," Kia snarled as she looked back up at him. "You'll take your hands off me now...you mangy mongrel."
"Why you!" he snapped, releasing one hand in his attempt to backhand her.
However, Kia was too quick. She reached back with her right hand and punched the werewolf in his chest to where he lost his breath for a bit, releasing her. Once her boots touched the ground, the she-wolf brought her knee up into his stomach and then proceeded to unleash a spinning round house kick straight into his sternum.
The brute went flying so far that his back slammed into the bar just shy of a female sitting to his right and fell behind the counter. Kia was right on him, lunging forward and landing on top of the bar before reaching down to grab the bastard by the scruff of his shirt and hauled him back up to face her. The scent of death barely reached her nose at all because Kia was far too angry to care except exacting her punishment on this arrogant brute who was (regretfully) a member of her own race.
"See what happens when you're a dumbass?! I told you to let me go, DIDN'T I?!" yelled the Amazon as she spun and hurled him completely in the opposite direction; sending him back first through the door of the pub (the door now a nice destroyed piece of property on the sidewalk outside).
Letting an aggravated snarl leave her lips, Kia hopped off the counter of the bar and slammed her hand on the counter, a wad of crumpled pounds in her hands. "Gimme the strongest shot of straight liquor you got." Kia felt the shot glass touching her free hand (as the bar keep was more than happy to fulfill her order) and she downed the drink in one gulp before slamming the glass back on the counter. "Arrogant, lame excuse of a dog..."

Ali was still downing drink after drink. She was halfway done with the bottle when she last looked at it. And she had only been there for about ten minutes. But then again, ten minutes was a lot of time. Lots of things could happen in ten minutes. She was always on alert normally. Because you just didnt know what was going to happen.
Just like she started hearing a fight going on. She turned her head slightly, her dark eyes gazing at the two fighting. One a female and the other male. But she had her bets on the female. Girls could always kick ass. There was nothing new about that. So the male should prepare for some pretty bad ass kicking.
And Ali's guess wasnt disappointed. But she was slightly angry that the male came crashing over to her and that kocked the bottle off the counter. She growled but held her tongue and grumbled under her breath. "Come on...cant a girl just get a drink around here?" She wasnt really asking anyone. More or less just muttering.
But since her scotch was gone she decided to pay attention to the fight. All else had stopped and all the focus was on the female beaten the crap out of this so called tough guy. Hell. She herself had done that many times. People had learned to stay away from her in bars. She came to you. Not you to her. It didnt work that way.
She really liked the fiery spirit in this other girl. She was full of life and she was a werewolf. And that explained things a bit. Werewolves, especially females, she had noticed lately...loved fights or proving they could kick peoples ass. Which she had no problem with. She would gladly do the same thing if they deserved it.
When she sat down by her and ordered more drinks and mumbled Ali ordered another bottle of scotch. She poured herself a drink and down another shot and then looked at her with eyes of sympathy. "Rough night?"

Her glass had been refilled just as the young female beside her ordered another bottle of the sweet smelling scotch she'd scented earlier. Kokia took in a slow whiff of the air, noting that the smell of death and decay was coming from this female. It was sad, really. Running into a vampire just as she'd beaten the daylights out of one of her own.
It was, needless to say, a bit on the embarrassing note.
When the young lady addressed her on how rough the night was, Kia only snorted as she downed her drink in one smooth gulp. "You don't know the half of it." she muttered as Kia allowed her cerulean eyes to look at the woman beside her.
Suddenly, Kia's eyes went wide and she blinked a few times in silence before she forced her entire body to turn and look at the woman. Quirking a brow, the she-wolf cocked her head to the side curiously. -How...strange. She looks like Katra...- she thought, placing a hand on her forehead in hopes that she wasn't hallucinating.
This woman was not Katra. First off, she was a vampire. Secondly, she'd just seen Katra not too long ago. The two of them had become friends recently and even though the she-wolves did not reveal too too much of their past to the other, Kia knew well enough to know that not only was Katra a werewolf...but this female, if she had any relations to her, would not be a vampire.
Katra hated vampires with every fiber of her being. Kia didn't quite understand it seeing as how the vampires she'd run across were more neutral/good than evil and twisted... She'd since given up trying to convince the girl otherwise.
Slowly, Kia rubbed the backs of her fists across her eyes before peering back at the young girl once more. Suddenly, she leaned forward and took a long sniff, eyes narrowing curiously as she forced a hiccup down into her throat. "Hey...you look a lot like a friend of mine, you know that?" she stated, sitting up and propping her elbow onto the counter. "And I ain't drunk enough to mistake you for one of my kind. So, enlighten me as to who you are so I don't feel like a drunk ass."

Ali listened to the bar happenings going on and she just sighed slightly. It was a long night for her and she really didnt know why she had come here in the first place. She couldnt get drunk so what was the point? But then again, drinking was fun period. She had always had a soft spot for drinking. She didnt know why.
But she smiled at the girl as she said she didnt know the half of it. She couldnt help but think...really? Did she not know the half of it? She had different problems sure...but problems none the less. And she wanted a drink to ease them. And it wasnt working. Which made her mad. She almost would have started a bar fight herself.
She took a good glance at the woman beside her. She was really pretty and she could tell not human. She was a werewolf. She had the sense to know the species apart and this wasnt hard to tell. But she didnt say anything. unlike some vampires...she liked werewolves. She was dating one for crying out loud. It made her not judge.
She then noticed the girl staring at her funny. Almost like she couldnt believe her eyes. Maybe that was the case. But it took a few minutes until the girl finally addressed her. She had her full body turned towards her and was looking like she was very confused. Maybe she could help with that.
"Im Ali Shadings. And im sure your not that drunk. " She said. She didnt mention anything about the friend.

Ali Shadings is what she called herself. Katra Shade is who she resembled. Was it strange to want to question this girl as to whether or not she had any ties with her friend, the werewolf?
"Well, I'm starting to wonder just how sober I am right now." Kia stated as she signaled for the bartender to give her a glass of water. When he placed the water in front of her, she mock-glared at him. "What the hell was in that shit you gave me?"
A light chuckle left his lips. "Trust me when I say that you don't want to know. You looked like you really needed it, my dear."
The she-wolf snorted as she pressed the glass to her lips. "You can say that again pal." Downing the water in a few short gulps, Kokia Luxin turned her cerulean orbs onto Ali once more, unable to get over the uncanny resemblance between her and Katra. "Tell me something Ali," she began while tossing a bit of her jet hair from off the bridge of her nose. "Do you have any siblings? Say...an older sister perhaps? Any recollection of such a blood tie?"

Ali was just staying silent as Kia tried to decide if she was drunk or not. But it was rather amusing to her. She didnt have to worry about that. She was as sober as when she had come in here a few hours ago. Not one hint of the alcohol was effecting her. A lovely perk of being a vampire.
She listened to the exchange between Kia and the bartender and nodded. Kia really didnt want to know what was in the thing he had given her. She had asked once and pressed the matter and when he told her she hadnt drunk anything for weeks. But here she was..back again. Surprise Surprise.
She looked at her glass bottle of scotch that was almost empty again. "Damn.." She muttered and then took the cap off once more and poured another round of the drink in the shot glass. She stared at it and then chugged it down quickly. She soon gave up about the shot glass and took drinks from the bottle itself.
She stopped slightly though and looked at Kia. Did she have siblings? Older sister? She shook her head and then put the bottle down. She didnt trust herself to drink and talk with glass in her hands. "No. I have no siblings."

Kia gestured for the barkeep to pour her a glass of scotch when she suddenly realized that Ali was all but tipping the bottle into her mouth! Quirking an irritated brow, Kia grasped the neck of the bottle from Ali and began pouring her own serving of the drink into the glass. Pointing to the golden brown liquid in her glass, the bartender placed three cubes of ice into the cup.
Kia shook the bottle gently from side to side. "You know, it truly is a waste for you to binge this stuff and not get any kind of buzz off of it. Leave this for those who can get trashed, eh?" she stated before placing the bottle back on the counter.
At the inquiry regarding a sibling, Kia propped her chin in her hand as she sipped on her drink. So Ali didn't have any siblings, huh? Well, that scenario wasn't improbable nor impossible. But the likelihood of two "look-alikes" floating around on the same planet with practically identical faces when in the right lighting was highly uncoincidental.
Kia didn't believe in coincidences anyway.
So that only meant one thing. If Ali said she didn't have any siblings and Kokia deduced that this just wasn't some strange coincidence, then there had to be another logical explanation. Perhaps when she was turned into a vampire, her memories were replaced with false ones by the night walker. Amnesia, mayhaps?
Already Kia didn't like this girl's master...not one bit.
"My mistake then," Kokia stated while taking another sip of her drink. "Though I must ask how you can get along with me so well. You're not like most of your kind who've attacked me on a whim. Then again, this war is probably what's provoking both of our races to just attack each other."
After a pause, Kia placed her drink on the counter and sighed, blowing bits of her hair off her nose again. A smirk played on her lips as she wiggled her eyebrows a bit. "Though I suppose your reasons for acting differently are because I tossed that flea bag out the pub, hm?" [/blockquote]

Jeremiah walked into the pub. He needed a drink and fast. His head was spinning in circles. He sat on a chair next to the bar. "Rum and coke, please." He looked over at two girls talking. He reconized one of them as Kia but he didn't know who the other person was. She smelt like a vampire. Eh, he didn't care to fight. He nodded at the bartender. "Thank you." He took a sip and turned on his chair, facing the girls. "If it ain't little Kia." He smiled sweetly at her. "Who's your friend?"

Ali was about to take another swig from the bottle itself when Kia took the bottle out of her hands. She swished it back and forth and Ali chuckled. It was like teasing a puppy with a treat. She wanted the scotch back but she wouldnt just snatch it. She wasnt rude and she didnt want to cause trouble. Plus, Kia seemed fun. She wanted to talk with her more. Not fight.
She watched as the bar tender gave her three cubes of ice and then Kia poured herself a drink of the scotch. She smiled at her comment though and tapped her nails on the bar. They made a clack sound and then she shrugged. "We all need a drink sometimes. Even if I dont feel it." She said and smiled at her. She was just in the mood to drink.
But she kept getting a feeling Kia was trying to figure something out. She had that look of puzzlement on her face. And she didnt understand how she herself fit into that. But obviously it was her. Ali might ask her about it later. She didnt like being stared at for no reason.
She instead of thinking on what was going on smiled at Kia's next question. It was true. She got along well with werewolves. She wasnt like most of her kind. Not at all. And it wasnt because Kia had dumped the male out on his ass. She shook her head snatched the scotch bottle back and poured herself a glass. She spun it in tiny circles and said, "Im not like the rest of my kind. I dont hate anyone. I like werewolves."
She down the drink in the glass and thought silently to herself that she even loved a werewolf. She was about to ask her opinion on vampires when there came another voice. She thought she had smelt another werewolf around. She stayed silent until he asked who she was. "Ali." She said with a nod. Hopefully no fight would come from this.

It pleased Kia that this girl didn't really care that she was a werewolf. In fact, it was rare to find someone who was practically neutral like herself. The only question she had to offer the girl was if she had always been that way...or if something had changed her perspective on things.
Kokia only quirked a brow as the girl stole back the scotch. A shrug and she continued to sip on her own drink. Just when she was about to ask the girl her name in addition to introducing herself, Kia smelled a familiar scent of a werewolf. When she turned her head, she saw that it was Jeremiah and her smile brightened. The last she'd seen of him was at the graveyard where his sister was buried.
A playful scowl formed on her lips as Jeremiah referred to her as "little." "Hey you," she grumbled in jest before lightly punching his shoulder. "I resent that little title y'know. I am older than you." she stated when his next question was tossed to the girl beside her.
Kia would have offered a reply, but she actually didn't know the girl's name. Not until she spoke it out. -Ali...? Isn't Katra's sister...named Ali?- Kia looked at Ali curiously and a new, disturbing thought reached her brain. It was Katra's hatred of vampires. -...Oh dear.-
Time to play it off. "That's a pretty name, Ali. I'm Kokia, but friends call me Kia. This here fella," she said, placing a hand on the werewolf's shoulder next to her while lifting up her glass. "Is Jeremiah Collins. He's a nice werewolf, unlike that bastard I tossed outta here." [/blockquote]

Jeremiah nodded at Kia. "I'm sorry darling. No more little for you." He smiled and took another sip of his drink. He never really liked shots. "Ali is it? Very pretty. Fits you wonderfully." He didn't care that she was a vampire. He just wanted to have fun with some friends.

Ali watched the two werewolves with a grin. They seemed so carefree and lively. Just like her when she was in one of her better moods. Tonight they caught her on a bad night. She was normally lively and energetic. But that was gone for now. She was quiet tonight.
She tried to shove that aside though as she watched them banter about the little title. When she said her name though Kia seemed to place a puzzle piece. What had she given away that ws getting solved by Kia? But she couldnt just ask that so she didnt word it.
She just took another sip of the scotch and smiled at Jeremiah. She nodded her head and said, "Thanks." To their compliments about her name. She didnt think it was so special. But it was her name none the less. "I find most werewolves are nice. Just gotta give em a chance." She winked and then chugged down the shot she had just poured.
She had always been neutral when it came to the species. She didnt know about werewolves until recently and why should she hate them when they had done nothing to deserve it? Even the bad ones were that way because of things her kind had done. But she didnt judge. She WAS a good spy in this and she would have to be careful about who she met.

Kia smirked triumphantly at hearing that Jeremiah would no longer be calling her little. He always mistook her as a young one, simply because she looked younger than she actually was. The benefit of having Asian blood, one would presume.
The she-wolf watched with amusement as Ali returned to drinking her shots of scotch. "Hey now, what did I tell you about wastin' booze like that?" Kia teased as Ali threw back another shot before Kia took the bottle away again. "I tell you what, Ali. You need to save some of this stuff for those of us who can get drunk."
After letting her teasing remark sink in, Kokia knew that something was eating at Ali. But she didn't know what. Just like her sister, she would hold all of her pain deep in her heart and not let it out. -Yeah, they're related alright.- she mused before pouring the rest of the bottle of scotch into her cup and giving it back to the bar tender. "Ali, why don't you just say what's on your mind instead of pouring perfectly good liquor into a system that can't use it, hmm?"

Jeremiah laughed as he watched Kia fight with Ali over the booze. He knew something was wrong with Ali, but kept it to himself. He snatched Kia's drink out from her hand and took a sip before handing it back to her. "Really, Ali. You can trust us." He gave her a smile smile, hoping she believed him.
