A young man glided into the pub. He was wearing a pair of dark faded denim jeans and a button down white shirt. His features were distinct - full lips, dazzling green eyes, and a porcelain complexion. His hair was in a bit of disarray and windblown from running.
To the human eye he was perfection, but that was a common characteristic in vampires. Even at their worst moments they still looked angelic. Beauty was a weapon more than anything, it allured the human in, causing them to deny their intense instincts to flee.
He strode across the pub in long strides. His gait was graceful and lithe. It was early morning, around 4 am. The ol' pub was nearly empty, aside from a few drunkards that were sprawled across the table, lying on the booths, and multiple other odd places. His deep green eyes scanned the small pub quickly. He was immediately attracted to the darkest corner of the pub. He usually didn't like being inside, but he didn't have much of a choice when the sun rose. He was doomed for those long hours with a bunch of futile humans or other blood thirsty vampires like himself. Most of which, he never associated with. He was a loner - a nomad. He hadn't stayed in one place for long, because there was never anything worth staying for.
He took his seat in the leather booth in the farthest corner of the space. A shadow hung over the area, as one of the nearby lights flickered on and off in intervals. He leaned back against the booth, preparing himself for a long dreary day. All his days were long, as he waited out the daylight hours. He was trapped until nightfall.

Ali sprinted down the streets with all her might. She was going pretty fast and to humans she would look like a blur. She was almost at full speed and she wished she could urge herself faster. The sun was rising quickly and she could already feel the heat of it on her back. She cursed as she continued to run and looekd for somewhere she could stay for the day. She would have no time to get to a hotel. They were to far, and thats when she noticed the pub.
Her eyes widened and she kicked in more speed. She didnt plan on dying today. And she just made it in on time. She burst through the door and almost collided with someone else who was coming out. She heard them mutter at her but she ignored the human and tried to slow herself down. She ended up almost running into the wall across the other side of the pub, but she ahd thrown her arms out to stop herself.
She turned and leaned her back against the wall and moved her bangs away from her eyes. From running, her hair was so messy she didnt want to even think about brushing it. Her dark eyes scanned the pub and how empty it was and she stayed in the corner, farthest from the door. She didnt want to take chances. She brushed off invisable dust from her black jeans and pulled off her black coat revealing a dark green tank top.
She sat down at the stool by the bar and leaned her head against the wall slightly and then glanced around again. She wondered what she could do to entertain herself for the day.

Jaden's attention was drawn to the loud ruckus this new person had created. His muscles tensed, ready to spring into action at any second. He was about to grab her before she hit the wall, afraid she'd blow a hole right through it. He watched as she slowed speed and caught herself at the wall, his posture relaxed. A crooked grin appeared on his face, as he remembered many occasions where he had almost been caught by the sun himself.
He'd been there for awhile, clearly bored to tears. 'What the heck.' he thought to himself. It had been years since he'd approached another vampire. He was new to London, and he was up for something different. He'd spent too many years in isolation, but he knew his personal skills wouldn't be the best either.
He walked up the the bar and sat two stools away from her, he was never one to invade someone's personal space. His green eyes flickered as he watched her, "Hello." he said in a low soft voice "Close call, eh?"

Ali ordered a beer from the bar tender and scoffed at him as he took in her appearance. He asked for idea and she told him to shove it. She was 21 and so she was legal to drink. The bar tender just shrugged and then handed her a bottle. She sighed and opened it, taking a small sip.
She brushed her bangs back again and then looked at the stranger who sat two stools down. She could smell that he was a vampire like her. So she wasnt the only one to take cover here. That thought made her smile slightly. But she was a little surprised he spoke up. He seemed collected and alone like her.
But she smiled anyway and said, "Yeah. A little to close for my taste. Next time im not taking my time walking the streets and looking at the shops." She shook her head and put the bottle down and added, "Im Ali."

"Hello Ali, I'm Jaden." he extended his hand to her "It's been a long time since I've seen another vampire...let alone talk to one." He watched as she gulped down the now tasteless and unfulfilling beer "You still enjoy that stuff?" , he asked curiously. "By the way, am I bothering you?"
((OOC: Sorry it's short.))

OOC: Its fine
IC:
Ali smiled at him and chuckled. She pushed the empty bottle away from her and looked back at Jaden. "Nice to meet you." She told him. She then pat the seat next to her. "Come sit. I dont bite." She teased. She was also a little surprised that he was almost like her. She to hadnt talked with vampires very much. It just wasnt in her nature. She was collected and calm mostly.
She then shook her head at his question. "Nah..not really....Its mostly just for the taste of something. You know?" She shrugged and then added, "No. Your not bothering me. Company is nice every now and then."

He stood from his seat and moved next to her,"I'm sorry, I am terrible at this...making conversation and all. I've spent the past 90 years in solitude." he added jokingly, "Gets a little boring sometimes." He smiled showing a set of perfectly straight white teeth. His eyes traveled across the bar "So, tell me, how long have you been in England?" his cool finger trailed across the counter tracing a pattern in the wood counter top. "I'm new here. I've been around for about a century, you?" His memories were still clear as day. He'd always felt a huge sense of guilt and remorse for killing people, which is why he learned to thrive on animal blood. "May I ask, what's your preference?" He suddenly realized he was bombarding her with questions, and wondered where the sudden talkativeness came from. "Forgive me, I do not mean to blabber on."

Ali looked at him and smiled kindly. She wanted to make a good impression to him since it wasnt everyday that she met another vampire. She turned slightly so she was facing him and could answer his questions better. He had a lot of them and she really didnt mind it. She liked talking with people..but they just normally kept to themselves and so she did the same.
"Well...I havent been here long at all. Maybe a few weeks. Just bought a place here. But then again...I dont stay in places very long." She had to blink slightly as she realized he was much older then her. "Ninety years...wow....I have only been a vampire for five." She told him. "And as for my diet...i prefer animals...but every once and a while...i snap..." She said that last part in a whisper. She was ashamed of that.

"Ah, I see." he was turned facing her now "I've never stayed in one place long either. So you actually bought a place? I've never owned a place of my own, never settled down enough. With no personal relations there isn't much of a desire to stay in one place for long, you know? I've never even had vampire friends to work my life around. I'm pretty much a loner and a nomad. I travel through the woods mostly, it's one of the most secluded placed, which I like. After all my time in seclusion, I've decided it's time to change that, some parts of it at least."
He grinned, "Well, I guess I'm an old man to you then! Gee, five years! Don't worry about the slipping part, it takes time, and a lot of self-control and will power. When I was 5, I was still living in a bloodbath, I just didn't kill as often as I did in the very beginning. It took me 9 years to kick the habit all together." He alway found it amusing that the only way he could refer to his killing habit, was to relate it to a nasty addiction...like smoking cigarettes or being an alcoholic. He knew what the thirst for blood felt like, no matter how many years passed, every encounter with a human was a battle.
"I think one of the most beautiful things about being what we are, is the fact that we never age...that and the speed." A devilish grin crossed his face "I love the speed."
