Selene walked down the familiar side walk that she promised herself she would never walk on again. But she had a calling this night, a feeling, a string tugging her along. She kept walking till she stopped in front of a small dark damp alleyway. She sighed.
Selene leaned up against the alley wall. This is where she was changed. She loved what she had become but she can still feel the bite burn. She ran her finger over her scar. She closed her eyes and let herself change into her dog form. [/font]

Shaden had hidden himself away in the alley for one of many reasons. He wanted to be alone, to think about the way his life was going. Not that he didn't like his life. He had someone he loved, however that women was bonded to another man. It pissed him off so much that sometimes he just had to be alone. Like now.
He froze when he caught the strong scent of a werewolf, he stood up, an brushed his pants clean of the dirt. He walking toward the scent. It didn't take long to notice the wolf. Shaden sighed, and leaned against the wall watching the it. He licked his lips. He didn't know what was going to happen but the wolf would be sorry if it attacked him.

It was dark, very very dark. Selene was running but not like when she was a wolf, but like when she was human. She heard footsteps behind her. She tried to run faster but she couldn't. She screamed as she felt teeth burn into her neck. [/font]
Selene screamed as she woke up. Her fur was covered in sweat. She rubbed her eyes and was about to change when she smelt a vampire. She crouched further down, teeth ready. She stopped though. He hadn't attacked her while she was asleep. Why?[/font]

Shaden crossed his arms over his chest as he watched the wolfs reaction to him being here. He had a small smirk placed on his lips when she showed her teeth. They were so interesting. Yet he'd been trained to hate them, he wasn't in any mood for a might. That is unless the wolf made the mistake of pissing him off. Which was a fairly easy thing to do.
"Are you going to attack me or what?" He asked with another sigh. He stood there, calm and ready. Maybe a little too calm but still. Shaden wasn't worried in the least.

Selene figured out that he wasn't going to attack her so she changed back into her human form. "No, I'm not going to attack you." She sighed and leaned against the wall next to him. She wasn't going to kill him, she didn't want to. "What's a pretty ice prince like this doing in the dark alley of the beast.?" She smirked a little.[/font]

Shaden raised one eye brow and then shrugged, "Ice prince? Thats a new one I haven't been called." He smiled, and shook his head. Some of the things people came up with. It was highly amusing to say the way least. "I came here to think." He said simply in answer to her question.
"And why aren't you going to attack me?" He asked, looking at her, and the over at the opposite wall.

Shadens breathing all but stopped and he slowly turned his head to look at her. Was she for real? She was really going to stand there and flirt with him. Thats great; just great. He realized most of them were foolish but this was a bit much. He cleared his throat, and did his best to just ignore that fact. Maybe she'd just give up.
"Thats an odd reason not to attack me." He said still looking at her, "What if I was secretly planning on killing you?" He asked with a small smile.

Shaden tilted his head slightly, smile widening to where she could see his white fangs. "Not all vampires are the same, my dear." He said and looked away for a moment, checking to make sure they were still alone. It was tempting to flirt, but he didn't think that would make Aubrey too happy. "Its very wrong to think that way you know, I often cause my victims a lot of pain before killing them. It makes things much more fun." His smile turned into a cold smirk, "You don't know anything about me, sweetheart, So I would watch out just in case I am planning something."

Selene grinned and looked deep into his eyes. "But I can attack back. You know that. I do know that your smart." She laughed and stared up at the moon. "Why do you think I didn't attack?" Truthfully, she didn't even know.

Shaden turned his head, closing his blue eyes for a brief moment, then opened them once more. "Yes. You can attack back, but I'm not really a 'normal' vampire." He held up his hand and looked at his black nails. He sighed and shoved his hands in his pockets. Not wanting to see them anymore. Being in a Coven was weird for him. "I think... your tired of fighting." He guessed, and looked over at her once more as he waited for her reply.

Selene looked over at him, sympathetically. It seemed as if he wasn't happy. She reached to touch his shoulder but pulled back. He had someone already and she didn't think it was appropriate. She nodded at his answer. "Yeah. I hate all this fighting. No one can be happy anymore." She sat back down and pulled her knees to her chest. She wasn't happy as a human and she was alone as a werewolf.[/font]

Shaden glanced around and then sat down too, he gave a deep sigh and leaned his head back against the wall, looking up at the sky. "Fighting shouldn't stop you from being happy." He said still looking up, "You should find some thing or someone who can make you happy. Its easier that way." He turned his head to look at her again. "Whats your name anyway?" He asked after a few minutes.
