Saiyonce sat behind an old brick building, watching the sun slowly fade behind the horizon. The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus song, "Accoustic Song" blared in her ears. Her eyes trailed the sun's pathway, much like a sunflower, and she sighed. Yet another day, and still no sign of anyone daring enough to love her.

Saiyonce had loved somebody once, but they ran far away from her a long time ago. Her body longed for his touch, her ears pined to hear his voice, and her mind was devastated at his absence. She had drunk herself stupid for about a year, trying to forget him. She soon came to realize that she couldn't. So she found ways to keep the memory of him alive.

And seasons are changing

Days grow longer and Nights grow shorter

Saiyonce had dug through her old boxes, and found piles of pictures of just him and the two of them together. She found old letters and old gifts, as well as a few pieces of clothing he had left behind. They even still smelled like him. She put the pictures and the letters together in a scrapbook, while the gifts and the clothes were assembled in a sort-of shrine-like deal in the back of her closet. Candles included.

Saiyonce's heart burned at the previous verse. She missed him more than anything else in the entire world. She would throw away her body modification job, her single-bedroom flat, her cat (Muffin), and her brand-new custom-designed Harley Davidson just to have him back.

A dark figure stealthily made his way through the alleyways. All that was really visible was his bright blonde fringe; otherwise he blended in perfectly with the nighttime.

He often heard people talking, but he ignored them. They didn't know what it was like... they would never know. The pain of the transformation that he had to fight through... the heartbreak of having to leave his true love, for he knew she would never accept him.

God, how he missed her so. He missed the feel of her flesh on his mouth and the way her eyes pierced through him, knowing every single time when something was wrong. He longed to feel her pale, slender arms around him; the way things used to be.

As he walked and daydreamed, he nearly tripped over a girl sitting behind the brick building.
