Ali was in the gardens here in London. It was peaceful and calm and that alone brought a small smile to her lips. She was finally alone from all the glares at her for changing Lee Roy. And he was back at home. She had told him she would just go out for a small walk and be right back. She had all intentions to do just that. She didnt want to be to far away from where he was.
But this garden could catch her attention easily and keep her focus for hours if she let it. She bent down at one point down the path and looked at a flower. It was a beautiful soft white and it looked so gentle. She plucked it close to the bud and then put the flower in her dark brown hair.
Then a large tree caught her attention. She smirked and since she was in her old tattered black jeans she went over to it and jumped up to the first branch and pulled herself up with ease. She made it to the top quickly and glanced around at the city. She smiled and then with a sigh, she jumped back down. But when she did that, she landed on someone. She panicked and jumped off them quickly. "Oh my go im sorry!! Are you all right?"

Blake was walking down a dirt path in London, in the middle of a beautiful garden. He was minding his own business, whistling some unknown tune. He saw a beautiful woman bending close to a flower, and then pick it. He hid behind some bushes.
Someone here? At this hour? And a woman alone.... and so pretty.... isn't that dangerous?
He peered around the foliage, but she had disappeared. So he crept along the path, not sure of what to think, when something hit him from above. He was knocked down before he could think, wind beating out of him.
"WHAT THE HELL?"

Ali was all panic mode now. "Im so sorry..." She told him and she was somewhat bouncing in place. "Are you all right? Please tell me your all right? Damn im an idiot..." She muttered to herself and him. She ran her fingers through her hair slightly nervous. She then extended her hand to help him back up. She knew that her landing on him must have hurt. She wasnt light and being a vampire didnt help either.
She swallowed nervously and said again, a little more calm, "Im really very sorry. Are you okay? Are you hurt?" She really hoped not. She had just landed on a human and if she had hurt him or he was bleeding she would react in different ways. It really all depended on him. But right now her nerves were fried.

Blake ignored her hand and stood up, dusting himself off. "I'm fine..... if you call being slammed to the ground fine." he shot back. But he didn't mean it in a harsh way. He sighed.
He wasn't bleeding, but there was a scrape on his arm that had the top two layers of his skin ripped off. Well, it wasn't too bad. At least it wasn't an open wound that had sucked in some delicious dirt and germs. The scrape began to turn an angry red.
"Seriously, though, I'm okay. Why were you jumping from so high up? You could have gotten hurt if I didn't happen to cushion your fall."

Ali ran her fingers through her hair. She was so clumsy sometimes that it made her angry at herself. She hurt people when she didnt mean to. Stupid, stupid, stupid. She laughed though and shook her head at him. If only he knew what she was. He wouldnt be questioning her about why she had jumped down from so high. To her...it was nothing. Nothing at all. It was rather fun and she had jumped down from further places.
"Dont worry about that. I wouldnt have gotten hurt even if you werent here. I land on my feet every time." She told the humand and then said, "Im Ali, by the way." She told him and then looked at his arm. She winced and said, "Sorry about the arm. It looks painful." She herself had no scratches and wasnt even winded.

"Uh... nice too meet you, Ali... I'm Blake." Blake was hesitant to give her his name. He generally didn't like people, and this wasn't exactly the best start.
He moved his weight from one of his feet to the other, restlessly aware of his natural paranormal-alarm (better known as his sixth sense) going off. This woman... why was she making him so uneasy?
There did seem to be something off about her. The way she held her body like it weighed nothing against gravity. How it seemed like nothing happened when she jumped from the tree. Her comments made him wonder... Was she even human?
"What are you doing here so late at night? And alone to match?" he asked her cautiously

Ali noticed that Blake was cautious around her. She sighed slightly at that. Of course he was. Humans could always tell they were in danger with her. It was like a beacon on her head. Stay away, vampire! But she wouldnt let that pull her down. She was used to people being edgy around her. Maybe she could make him relax by showing she wasnt going to hurt him.
So she uncrossed her arms and kept them by her side. She then smiled gently at him and said, "I love taking walks at night. And I dont have anyone else with me. So thats why im alone and walking at night. Simple answer and I could ask you the same question." But she laughed and didnt.

Blake concidered Ali for a moment. She didn't seem to make much sense. But then he remembered Aubrey. She made even less sense. And that's when the thought of it. "So you're a vampire, too?" He asked Ali.

Ali wasnt expecting that and so she blinked for a second. Did he just call her a vampire? Se really was one but how did he know? She hadnt showed any signs of herself being a vampire except the whole falling and claiming she would be fine. Maybe thats what got him. Or maybe he had met another vampire before her. Was that it? And when she took a sniff she could tell that was the case. He had met Aubrey.
She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. There was no point in hiding it now. "Yeah. Im a vampire." She said to him and then smiled gently. "I see you have met Aubrey." She told him and nodded her head slightly. She knew he had by the smell. He wouldnt be able to lie to her.

Blake did not expect this vampire to act so shy. I guess not all are as forward as Aubrey. He thought to himself. Blake was not sure how to judge Ali, if judge her at all. Blake was not good with people - human and vampires alike. He did not know how to react or what to do. "Yes... I've met Aubrey. Do you know her?" he asked innocently.

Ali nodded gently. "Yeah I have met her a few times." She said and ran her fingers through her hair again. She could tell he was nervous around her. And he had no reason to be. I mean, she was the one that should be nervous. She knew that Aubrey worked for Xavier. And if Xavier knew all of her little secrets then he would kill her. Ali was positive about that. And this guy knew Aubrey. So she would have to be careful around him.
She shuffled her feet slightly and then said, "So what brings you out tonight?" She wanted to change the subject as quickly as possible. Talking about people she did and did not know never was fun. And the war coming up didnt prove to be an easy one. Friends would become enemies because of their views in things. It would be a dark time. She wondered where he stood.

Blake watched Ali thread her hair through her fingers. She was a timid vampire. Strange. Blake didn't know what to say. Then she asked him what he was doing out that night.
Blake wondered if he should lie to her, or tell her the truth. After all, she was still a stranger. They didn't know each other. Their only connecting point was Aubrey, but that didn't tell him if Ali was on Aubrey's side or against her. He decided to be truthful. Besides, it wasn't like there was anything to hide.
"I'm not really sure myself. I guess I came here to think about things. Usually I go to the forests, but... my space has been intruded upon lately."

Ali realized that her nervousness was effecting him and so she put her hands down by her sides and stayed calm like normal and just smiled gently. She wasnt a bad person and she would never hurt someone unless they deserved it. Which Blake hadnt done anything to deserve it. So he had nothing to fear. But that was something she couldnt tell him. He had to figure that out on his own.
But she chuckled and nodded at his response to her question. She had noticed him debating to tell her the truth or not. She was good at reading people and she was almost positive this was the truth. And she could relate to that. "Yeah. I do the same all the time. I just go out for a walk. It helps make things more clear."

Blake nodded. By her reactions, he could tell that she could read people. She was trying to get him to relax. He supposed there was nothing wrong with that. From what he gathered, Aubrey was pretty high up on the vampire food-chain. Being associated with her meant you didn't get messed with by rouge vampires. Of course, it also meant you were in more danger because of her enemies. But Blake could stand that. It was the same thing with humans... only less dangerous.
"Where do you walk to?" Blake asked curiously.
