Landon was a bit peeved, he'd changed with out any control. He shouldn't have been out in the full moon. The morning was now here and he found himself in unfamiliar territory, a beautiful garden. He only had a shredded shirt, what was left of his very professional collared shirt and tux jacket. His pants were ripped dirty, and had droplets of blood on the knee. He frowned, what have I done He put his head in his hands, this fate was worse than death in times like this. He was just as bad as the man in the alley he'd been bitten by.
He leaned back laying flat against the cobblestone walkway breathing steadily as the sun rise lit up into colour. It made him smile half heartedly. He remembered all the things he had to do, two reviews for work, had to get to the bank, book his flight back to Paris, get his computer back from the shop. His mind was swamped with his mental to do list. He sat up, but stayed sitting. I'll just watch the sun rise he decided against better judgment.

Mahiro toppled over and swayed slightly in the wind. She was in a garden. If the stupid barman last night had'nt of opened the curtains, she would'nt have seen the moon. She would'nt have gone wild. The moonlight had spread acroos her skin like a virus, and she had locked herself in the girls loos to hide from it. She had'nt changed completly, but wolf ears and a tail had sprouted. Several hours later they were still there. She let herself lie flat on the wet grass. She was completly exhauseted. Running from the moon in a effort not to change exhausted her. It had been easier to not change when she had been with her family. They were her pack. They arranged holidays every full moon so they didi'nt hurt anyone. Or they covered themselves in balnkets and pulled down every curtain and blind so as not to let the cursed moonlight in. But that was the past. Mahiro must not think of the past. It was the present now. She must think of the present, not of the past. She rolled over, and a load of wet mud greeted her face. Mahiro jumped up in alarm, and did a funny dance to shake it all off. Then she noticied a dazed man sat on the grass about 2 feet away. He was'nt moving. He looked sort of dead. His suit was shredded and there was blood dripping from his knee. What if he was dead? Mahiro decided there was one thing to do. She leaned over, and yelled in his ear. "Oi Mister, are you dead?" That ought to wake him up.

Landon was staring off, admiring the colours of the sunset. Sitting comfortably in the silence, in perfect peace. Till someone yelled in his ear.
He jumped from his spot on the ground as if it had caught fire and spun around. "Make some noise!" He said angrily. This person had disrupted his peace, after his heart got back to its normal rhythm he looked at the girl tail and ears, wolf tail and ears. He stared, are they real?
The scent of her mixed with the dew covered plants made a beautiful aroma that made Landon cheer up a bit. She was a wolf, he knew it. "I'll be damned," he said bemused. He looked down at himself, realizing what she must see, he looked much like someone who lived on the street. He frowned, this would not leave a good first impression. "I'm sorry for my appearance, I assure you this doesn't happen often," his words were quiet in embarrassment.

(Sorry it's short. Having a mini-block..) She smiled. This man was obviously very embarssed of how he looked. She guessed he was a wolf. A new one, who was ashamed of his..Powers. "Sorry mate. You were'nt moving, I thought you were dead. And you do have enough cuts to be dead, know what I mean?" She looked at him again. He looked tired and embaressed. As if he wanted the ground to open up and swallow him. "I won't bite mister." She smiled "No full moon"

Landon gave a feeble smile, "I understand that feeling... and i'm not really injured," he frowned at this, "the blood isn't mine." He hated the fact the full moon had turned him. It wasn't a peticularly new feeling to him. He'd been a werewolf for a while, he knew what it all meant, a life of hiding.
He looked at his watch, it was just after six am. "You know we should be getting out of here," Landon said, "people are going to start waking up, and finding a duo like us in their garden is going to either make them think they are crazy, or break out the shot guns," his voice held little amusement. "I'm Landon by the way," he said extending a hand to her.

Mahiro took his outstreched hand and shook it violently. "The names Mahiro." she smiled, "As for the shotguns.. Well I have a spare mate." She grinned and waited for the dazed and confused or the 'you should'nt carry a gun' look. She laughed. "Don't worry Landon, Not really. I have some smackers though." It did'nt feel odd talking like this to someone she'd never met before. She had always talked, her mouth did'nt seem to like to shut that often. Her hair also did'nt stop flicking into her eyes. She had to flick a pink strand back out as she talked. "If they do try and shot us Landon, who'd ya reckon they'd shoot first? You've got some blood on ya, but I have ears and a tail, well I had normal ears anyway, but you get what I mean." She smiled helplessly. Suddenly she had an amazing thought. "For me, its the light of the full moon, not the full moon itself that does it. I have to stay away from the moonlight, and not look at the moon either. Even a picture can do it, but only if the moon is out as well. How long have you been one for?" She asked "You don't look that used to it, that's all. I'm sorry for all the questions by the way. I'm just naturally curious."

Landon almost fell to the ground in shock, he could hardly comprehend the question before another was spewing from her mouth. Once she finally stopped Landon stared for a moment half expecting her to start up again. He ran his hand through his hair, "how do you have so much energy after a full moon?" Landon groaned, he was awake, but if there was a bed he could sleep easy.
"Being out in the moon changes, me I've been one since I was like eighteen," Landon thought, he'd been one for a long while. Nine years of being a monster "I don't know anyone around here that is going to carry a shot gun and shot someone who looks like a homeless person," he said looking down at himself, "so I'd have to guess you," he said motioning to the wolf ears. "You could be mistaken... and curious is a understatment."
Her outrageous amount of energy left Landon feeling more tired than he acutally was. "How long you been one for?"

Mahiro broke out in a cheeky grin. "Not quite as long as me then mate." I was born on a ship, with a werewolf crew, so pretty much forever." She smiled again. "Come on mate, we gotta scoot!" She pulled Landon along by the arm and they weaved through holes in fences and bushes until they were standing on a perfectly normal cobbled street. "Oh, and to answer your other questions, I am alway's full of energy. I think their must be caffiene in the air I breath." She smiled again. " I can't stand to drink it though, Coffee I mean." She ran her hand through her hair and flicked a blue strand out of her eyes. Whilst doing so, she felt around the top of her head. The wolf ears had'nt gone yet. Or the tail for that matter. She must look very odd. But then, according to most people her multicoloured hair and, unusual fashion choices meant that she looked odd anyway. So it was'nt really that much of a problem. "New to the area?"

Landon tried to invision the ship, sailing, a werewolf crew- a nearly humorous thought to him, then he thought of the full moon, all the wolves in one place he shook his head as if to rid the thought from his mind. He was dragged along, he didn't know if he could have stopped, from her first unexpected tug he was staggaring to keep up, to the shorter girl pulling him. As they got to the street he tried to fall back to regain balance, it worked. He let out a breath of relief, he was pretty sure he was going to do a face plant there for a minute.
"Here for work, I'm not staying," he responded after a moment of catching up to her. He had come to London to do some reviews, some he was behind on and the deadline was approaching quickly. Then the full moon had to come and disturb him. He absentmindidly tried dusting his pants off a bit. These had been one of his favorites, talored just for him, he frowned, he'd have to get another pair made. "What about you?" Landon asked vaguely wondering what she was doing on dry ground after her ship talk, "you live here?"
