Aubrey swung her feet gently under the swing. She twirled the toe of her boots around in the soft sand. The wind blew small strands of her hair across her face and she sighed.
Aubrey had put on a slender grey pea coat that fell past her knees. She wore black boots and a matching thick knit black scarf. She didn't require any of it. Her body wasn't sensitive to the weather or climate.
Her eyes held the steely grey color that manifested when she was upset or angry. She was both at the moment. She was feeling torn between her purpose and place in the coven and her own personal feelings. She growled in frustration at herself as she looked up at the black sky.
There was no moon, no stars, nothing to add light to the seeping blackness. It matched her mood. Aubrey pushed off of the ground, feeling her body float through the air. She couldn't remember the last time she had played on a swing set. It would have to have been before her mother had been murdered.
Since then she had lived her life in the shadows. You would think that she would have been used to it by now. She closed her eyes an allowed herself to be swept away in her own thoughts. She should have been thinking of Shaden, but Xavier kept flooding into her mind. She was tired of subconsciously calling out to him.

Xavier eerily manifested behind her on the swing. He had heard her calling his name, he had felt her presence drawing him in..He had to come. This was the perfect place..No one was around..No one could see or hear them from here. Xavier was waiting for a moment like thing for so long..
"Hello Aubrey..."
He wrapped his arms around her waist, catching her in her swing. Xavier wore a full zip black hoodie with no shirt underneath, dark jeans and boots. His lips gently touched her neck in a passionate, sensual kiss. Yes, he had been waiting for a moment like this.

Aubrey froze, pressed against Xavier. His arm around her waist, his lips pressed against her neck. It was all so confusing. She should have pulled away instantly. Yes. That should have been her first reaction, but she didn't. She allowed him to touch her.
A thousand thoughts crashed in her mind in one huge wave of emotion. Her mind was screaming in her confusion. She had no safe place to hide. Xavier could hear her thoughts, he could feel her emotions. He knew things about her that she could hardly admit to herself.
Anger was he first to flash though her. She was here trying to find an outlet of escape from the torment that she had been putting herself through. She didn't need him intruding when she was trying to figure herself out. He had put a lot of pressure onto her shoulders by making her a vampire and by bonding her to himself.
That feeling was gone though, quickly. Too quickly. She was filled wit something almost pleasant. Relief? Satisfaction that he had came? Had she really been waiting for him to come to her. Was that why she had been calling out to him. Aubrey squeezed her eyes tightly shut. This was not what she wanted. She didn't want Xavier. Maybe she didn't want to admit that to herself.
Aubrey opened her honey eyes as she sighed. Relief and a sense of pleasure sweeping in on her. She was glad he was here. She was glad that he had came to her. She turned so she could look at him. Instantly missing the warmth of his lips on her neck. She touched his face.
"Xavier. Why are you here?"
Her words were barely audible. She waited, afraid and anxious for his reply.

Xavier placed his index finger on her lips, silencing her words. He didn't want her to talk, he didn't want this to be a moment of TBNC affairs or Missions. The only thing than ran through his mind was Him and Her. His head slowly rolled in and his lips touched hers. A passionate, lovely, romantic kiss. It was something he had never shown. How he was able to place his lips on hers after she had betrayed him, he didn't know. However, he let his eyes fall, fully inducing in the trance like sequence her scent and the warmth of her soft lips created.
I know i haven't been treating you like i should. I know you've been trying hard. Your screams do not go unheard..
He said resting his forehead on hers. He let go of her and walked around to the front of her. Taking her by the hands and pulling her up from the swing, taking her into his arms. His pale blue eyes shut slowly as he rocked with her in the blackness of night...this was all new to him.

Aubrey allowed her body to flow in motion with Xaviers. Her confusion and doubt melting away into his embrace. This was not what she had expected. He had known of her pain and came to her.
A wave of emotion swept through her body. Even after bringing Shaden into the coven he still cared for her. It didn't make any sense. She suddenly felt more torn than she ever had before. She had convinced herself that she didn't love Xavier anymore. She had tried to fill herself with nothing but hatred for him. It was pointless.
Aubrey loved him. She shouldn't, but she did. It was something more than just her bond and it was eating her alive. She pressed into his body and clung to him. Nothing had prepared her for this, she had never thought he would come to her.
Suddenly she felt a twange of guilt for turning Shaden. Not because she didn't care for him, she did. But she had been so angry at Xavier she hadn't thought that he might really be bothered by it. Maybe she had secretly hoped that he would and done it to spite him.
She tucked her head under his chin. She wanted to cry. "I'm sorry Xavier."

Xavier held her tightly. It seemed as if all the disobeying she had done in the past had simply washed away within this moment. His arms tightly squeezed her, he wanted her and never wanted to let go. He realized all of the bad things he had been doing, how he had been ignoring her all of this time..He was sorry.
It's okay sweetheart..Its Okay..Its Okay..
He found himself repeating the same phrase over and over, Lost in the sensation that swept over his body. He loved Aubrey. He would have never turned her if he hadn't fallen in love with her when he first saw her face. Even now that was something he couldn't admit, but he hoped she knew. She was all he had wanted, he had tried to fill the empty void that laid within his shell of a body, He tried to cover it up with plans of Mass Human Genocide and the expansion of the coven..but none of it was working..He loved Aubrey. He just hoped she still loved him.

Sweetheart. The word echoed in her head bringing a small sadness to her. Shaden called her that. He had called her that the first night they had met. The night that Xavier had turned her and her entire world had changed.
Aubrey reluctantly pulled away from Xavier. She didn't know if she could do this. She didn't know if she could handle it. Xavier could be kind to her now, but when they went back how would he act.
She turned away from him. She couldn't let him see her pain. She had been doing so much to try and please him without even realizing her intentions. Everything she had done revolved around him. Except Shaden. She loved him too, didn't she?
She turned to look at him with her sad steely eyes. "I love you, Xavier. I don't know why, but i do." She lifted her hand to reach out for him, but then let it fall back to her side. "I'm afraid to love you."

Xavier could see the look on her face when she pulled away. It was evident that thoughts of Shaden rushed through her. Xavier was confused. Isn't this what Aubrey wanted? Tender Love? Care? The moment Xavier decided to break down and show it..He was being Rejected..
I..
He watcher her arm reach out to him and he inched forward, only to watch it fall back down to her side. "Im afraid to Love you." was the only thing that he heard. Fear. If it was anyones fault it was Xavier's for behaving the way he naturally had. Suddenly, a sharp pain ricocheted through Xavier's head and he gripped it tightly in pain. His body hurled over momentarily as his eyes widened, veins bulging from his head. His normal pale blue eyes, dipped into a deep shade of light grey and he slowly rose from his hurled over position.
Xavier flipped his hood up over his head covering his eyes, not saying a word. His slowly zipped the jacket up to the neck and buried his hands into his pockets. The ominous presence that Xavier usually carried around with him was magnified by the hundreds. He stood eerily still, glaring at Aubrey from underneath his hood. He slowly turned around and began to walk, he didn't know where to but he was feeling anger and hatred for everything around him...This wasn't the usual Xavier...

His glare chilled her through her core. As horrible as she had seen him, this was something different and terrifying. She stepped back from him. The emotions seeping from him were new to Aubrey. It made her gasp.
She gritted her teeth and clenched her fist as he started to walk away. He came to her. He was the one who started this. All of it. She was perfectly happy being alive before he waltzed in and decided to avenge his coven.
She would have been perfectly content trying to make herself hate him. He had to come to her and be wonderful for a moment, crashing her entire world. Anger seeped through her as she bounded off to follow him.
"Stop walking away from me." She had in mind to be calm, but she ended up screaming. He infuriated her. When he didn't turn around it infuriated her even more. She picked up a small rock and threw it at him. It bounced off the side of his head. "DON'T FUCKING WALK AWAY FROM ME XAVIER!"

As Xavier was walking, he felt a small projectile hit him in the head. Instantly, he stopped walking and slightly around to glare at Aubrey. his hands smoothly ruffled in his pockets. In an invisible movement, a knife was thrown at her. The velocity and speed was so fast, that light didn't get a change to refract off of it keeping the eye from seeing no matter how keen the vision was. The sound of the blade could be heard cutting through the air as it closed in on Aubrey.
The direction of the blade was aimed accurately at the elbow joint of her arm. The blade silently slid through the elbow and he watched as the flesh and tendons of the arm ripped and tore and the arm fell to the sand with a fountain of blood following it. Without smiling, or cockily mocking the action as he usually did, he simply spoke. What was uncovered by the hood was completely melancholic, emotionless. Xavier only glared blankly at the blood spraying from the wound and the motionless limb that rolled onto the ground. All of this happening within an invisible fraction of a second.
I love you, and that is the only reason that you are standing, alive this very moment. Do not follow me, Do not scream.
His voice was deeper, more gritty and evil. He turned his head around and began walking away, toward the streets of the City. This wasn't Xavier at all...This was something far worse.
