The clouds covered the moon and made the darkness thicker then ever. He melted into the shadows of the cool, serene night and smiled to himself as he watched innocent young women walk by him, going home to their nice warm beds. He almost laughed at the thought of the corpse laying in a alleyway two blocks over from here. She had been such a sweet little thing. So carefree, and so easy to woo into the thought of love.
He had whispered into her ear, told her things other men had not. He had kissed her breathless then made his way slowly to her throat.
'The kiss of fate' He murmured against her soft skin. Then bit into her throat, and felt the adrenaline as her life fell away into the darkness.
Now,walking two blocks away he heard a scream of someone he guessed had found the body.
His cold smile grew wider as he looked up at the sky. His name was Ian. Ian Dracul. And he made a silent promise to the night that he would never be cought. That he would never die.

Wednesday walked down the street feeling very restless. She looked up at the clouds and wished for them to move so she could see the moon. She loved the moonlight.
Suddenly she was forced back to reality by a scream, not very far from were she was standing. She walked closer to see what was going on. When she got to the alley she saw a woman standing over the corpse of another woman. She laughed to herself and wondered why humans thought something like that was such a horrible sight.

Ian slowed down his walk until he stood standing perfectly still. The air had changed slightly. He could feel another close by. He looked around and found the streets to be empty. Taking a few steps back th way he came he decided to find the other vampire.
How long had it been sinse he had talked to his own kind. He shook his head. Far too long. It was time he made himself known once more to them. Taking short cuts behind buildings and through more alleyways, letting his mind lead the way. He cought site of her and noticed to that this was the same street he had eaten.
Ian steped out from the alleyway just as the clouds moved over head and the moonlight shinned down on them.

A figure emerged from the shadows, glimmering eyes regarding the old one warily. There was a familiar sense about this one, similar to that of the one who had embraced *HIM* several centuries ago. Still, he did not feel at all intimidated by this one's presence, which meant that despite this one's ties, he wasn't...The One.
"Preying on the weak, an not-so-unusual vocation, wouldn't you say?" Maximillion said, revealing his face and features before the one in front of him. "And you're no youngling either. Just who are you, and what is your business here?"

Wednesday looked up at the coulds that were now moving away from the moon. She smiled. One of her very rare smiles. A smile of somewhat happiness. "Maybe wishes do work after all" She said silently. She shook her head and stepped back and leant against the wall.
She sighed. She hadn't been out for far too long. She felt the cold night air against her white skin. She loved nights like these. She smiled to gerself as the wind played with her hair. She shifted some out of her face and looked up at the moon. It was such a beautiful sight. Too bad not many actaully took the time to look at it.

Ian looked up at the moon and almost groaned out loud when someone else showed up. He didn't really mind but he had been hoping to keep a low profile. At lest for a little while.
He stared at the vampiress, acting as if he hadn't hard a thing. Then rather slowly Ian turned to face the newcomer. After looking at him for some time he finally bowed slighty "I am Ian Dracul, and my business here is my own." He said and raised himself back up to full height. With a glance to the side over at the vampiress, who was leaning against a wall "And whom may I ask are you?" he murmured looking back at him, his face expressionless.

Wednesday looked around as she felt as if someone was looking at her. She shook her head but then noticed the vampire who was looking at her. He looked away in the same second she turned her head. 'Why are you looking at me?' she thought and kicked a little stone across the alley.
She stood for a while just wondering who the vampire was when she noticed he wasn't alone. 'theres two? wow this place will be crowded in minuttes' she thoguth and sighed. Her black eyes and blood red lips were shining in the moonlight. Wednesday looked down and let her hair fall over her face.

"Dracul?" Maximillion responded with a slight chuckle, approaching the other man with a calculating look to his eyes. "That's an interesting name. I've run into a lot who're claiming the name of Dracul, Dracula, and the sort. Even more who've claimed to be Lestat, Armand, or that 'Vampire Hunter D' fellow."
He stopped in front of the other man, watching him warily.
"Tell me...what can you offer me that would satisfy my curiousity as to whether or not you're truly tied to..Him or not? And before you say a thing....yes, I would know."

Ian smiled at him "I have not come here to satisfy your curiousity." He said watching him just as warily but wasn't worried about him being there. The thought that others were using that name filled him with rage but didn't aloow this to show. He shrugged and thought about Vlads killer locked away in his cell and laughed to himself "I don't think your even worthy enough to say the name of Dracula."
He looked up at the moon then again faced him "I have Vlads killer locked away. I often visit him and give him a small amount of blood. Just enough to keep him alive." Ian said, smiling to himself.

"Killer? KILLER? Ha!" Maximillion retorted, laughing uproariously for a moment, tears running down the corners of his eyes as he did so. After about a minute or two, he finally subsided into just mere chuckling, wiping the corners of his eyes and sighing. "Wow. That was funny."
His look suddenly turned severe, and he regarded the man critically.
"Vlad is not dead. The only who would know better than me would be the one who embraced me, and even then I would still be aware of it. Oh certainly, there have been many attempts on his life, and he has staged his own death -- in ways even the trained eye would find believable -- but no... he is not dead. Not unless you mean Damned, which is the state of all of us."
He looks up at the moon for a minute, almost as if forgetting the other one existed. He was thinking back to his Sire, and the tales that man would tell about HIS sire, the Count of Wallachia. It was strange at first, being told about these things he had only read about in books, and finding out just how much of the literature was fiction and how much was not, but he had come to accept his 'Birthright' in due time, and it had made things a lot easier.
"You are a bold man, to go around telling people that Vlad is dead. You never know who his eyes-and-ears are..."
He was suddenly in front of the other Vampire, his eyes narrowed, and the gold irises of his eyes seeming to glow fiercely as he was only inches from the other man's face.
"...and you have no idea where his progeny lie."
Then, as if nothing had even happened, Maximillion was back where he was, lightning a cigarette. After taking a few puffs, he pocketed the lighter, then turned his eyes coolly back upon Ian.
"So tell me, now. Just who are you?"

Ian didn't move even though he felt like killing the man before him. Nor did he move the he was suddenly in front of him. "Where is you respect for elders?" He asked, starting to walk around now. He walked around him but always kept him in site. He could always take this vampire to his home, and show him Dracula's killer. Though no one has been in his home for some time and he didn't trust this one. Ian laughed now as he asked once more 'who he was'. For a few moments he didn't answer then looking away from him he said "I am Ian Dracul. One of the oldest living vampires. Dracula's first and most loyal servent. And I fear no one." He sighed then faced him once more "I have every right to be bold."

Wednesday looked at the men. One of them had started walking around. She tried very hard to hear wht they were talking about but she only heard small piece and none of it seemed to make sense.
'I wonder if they even know im still here' she thought and moved some hair out of her face. She had heard them talking about Dracula. But after what she had heard he was dead. She started wondering alot about the things she actually heard.

"My name is Maximillion VonMitternacht. I was Embraced, well after my initial embrace into this accursed form, by Alexandru Dracul, also known as 'Alexandru the Dark', who ruled by the Count's side until the last days of the War that at that time plagued the Romanian countrysides."
He smirks, looking Ian up and down with a snort.
"And respect for elders? I could be wrong, but I have a sense that you are younger than even I am, even if not by far. Even I would not deem to call myself an "Elder". Methuselah works just fine for me, as it is closer to a title based on my age, not on a self-perpetuated position of power."
Folding his arms over his chest, he realizes that there was a third party there. He had gotten so wrapped up in the banter that he had not feigned to realize there may be others around.
"This is perhaps not the best place to be speaking of such things openly. I would invite you to my Estates, but my...'Family'...wouldn't like it all that much, especially if you started proclaiming the death of someone a great deal many of them worship fanatically."
He looks down the street, his golden eyes suddenly flashing. In solely his view, the streets suddenly rushed past him, turned left, rushed more, rushed to the right, the left, then around again until a diner came into sight.
To the outside, it would just look like his eyes had caught the light for a brief second. He turned back to Ian.
"There is a diner down the road. Few people go there this time of night. Perhaps we can resume this conversation there?"

Ian was finding it bit more difficult to keep calm. He took a deep breath of the night air, keeping his anger locked away until he returned home. Then his 'pet' would pay the price. He stopped walking to fully face him now 'I am older then you, though I can tell your not so far behind myself.' He murmured into his head. Ian had always loved useing the power. In the time before Draculas death only the old ones such as himself had it. It still sent a shiver off pride down is spine everytime he used it. But he had lived through so many centuries that it was pointless to try and keep up with what these knew vampires could do. All he knew is that he had the old powers and that made him stronger then the rest of them, and sooner or later they would find that out.
"I'm disappointed that you didn't think about out female company sooner then this." He said taking a quick glance over to the vampiress before adding "Fine. We shall continue out little conversation there if that is what you wish." Now that he thought about it maybe it would be better for them to talk else where, he didn't want all of their kin to show up and learn more about him. Ian had all ready said far too much. He wondered how much of their conversation the vampiress heard. He had wanted to talk to her, however, that didn't seem like much of option now.

Wednesday looked out at the street. She sighed. She was getting bored just watching the two talk. She considered walking over to them but didn't know if it would be a good idea. 'I wonder if they would mistake me for something other than what I am' she thought and focused her eyes on the silver ring she was wearing on her thumb. The moonlight was shining down on it causing it to shine. She smiled.
She then decided to approach the two. She didn't know what she was gonna say or do. But for some reason she just did it. She walked slowly to wards them with her eyes focused on the ground. Her hair was almost covering her face. She tried to figure out what to say or what do, but she didn't succeed. She stopped close to them and didn't say a word.
