Touring London with a Friend(Lars!)

[Ellie]

Lars ran to meet her on the roofs but stopped running a few building before he would meet her at the end. He walked up quietly and snuck up behind her. "Copy Cat..." he whispered gently in her ear as he walked farther along getting friendly with his cancer stick.

Tala shoved him and ran out in front of him and jumped up onto the bridge. She crossed her arms and glared in the other direction ignoring him. She watched everything go across the bridge below her and smiled quickly, then returned to her immature glare.

[Ellie]

Lars walked up to her slowly. He'd figured if she wanted to play games he would too. Going slower seemed to annoy her better anyway. He made it to the edge of the brigde and looked over the railing to the black Thames River. He whistled and turned back to Tala. "I dare you to jump over!"

Tala turned away from him again and kept her arms crossed, still ignoring him. She looked out at the city and watched all the little people walk by, of course in reality the were probably taller, but she liked to pretend the were short. She focused on a couple and pretended it was a movie using them to keep her focus on something else so she could ignore Lars easier. It was fun watching the people and pretending it was a movie, it looked like one the way it was unfolding below.

Lars chuckled a little. "You know you can't ugnore me forever! I'm irisitable(1)!" he said walking up and wrapping his arms around her. "And if you won't take my dare..." he started, pausing a little before picking her up bridal style and walking over towards the egde of the brigde. "I guess I'll just have to throw you in!" He didn;t of coarse but he let her dangle in his arms over the egde.

(1- I would have said Ierosistable...but I can't do that with a name like Trell!)

Tala fidgeted in his arms and glared at him. "Stop it!" She looked down at the water below her and squished her body closer to Lars and wrapped her arms around him; she hated water, unless it was rain. She looked up at Lars wondering if he would laugh at her reaction, he probably would. She made a face at him.

[Ellie]

He smiled a wide grin before setting her down. "You should have seen your face!" he said while looking over at her. His eyes went over the landscapre quickly then back to her eyes. "You ready to head for the palace? Even though it wont be open...I'm ure we can find a way in..."

Tala stuck her tongue out st him and then grinned wickedly. "I'm a pro at sneaking into places, it's fun to terrifry people." She giggled, it was always fun when people saw her small figure slide through there window and smile with menacing fangs; it was like something out of a horror movie. She looked back at Lars, "Ummm, what direction is the palace in?" She blushed she hadn't noticed it.

[Ellie]

"That way", he said pointing to the north. "And I'd advise not scaring the Queen's guards Mousy!" he smiled starting to walk off. "We're gonna sneak in, but let's try and avoid people. OK?" he said. He didn't want to make national news tonight. He could see the headlines now. They didn't read well with him.

Tala grinned and then pretened to look upset, "Fine I won't." She walked next to him keeping his pace and not running off again even though she still felt like causing some sort of trouble, she didn't like to relax. At least I get break in to somewhere, she thought trying not to think of anything attention grabbing.

Lars followed slowly behind her. In about about half and hour the reached the palace. He had finnished his cigarette and stared at the big Iron gates with the tall brick wall from across the street. Some guards were positioned at the head gates but he saw them absent along the tall walls. He walked a little farther down to come to the corner of the barrier. Lars lept up and over the wall and landed on the other side silently, waiting for Tala to join him.

Tala jumped up over the wall close to the gate not worrying about being scene. She stayed on top of the wall from a moment and watched a guard look at where she used to be, shrug, and look away again. She hid a giggle in her hand and landed lightly next to Lars. She shoved him and and quietly whispered, "Scaredy Cat." She started walking closer to the palace silently.

[Ellie]

"Scardy Cat!" he mocked in a whiney voice behind her. "Scardy Cat my ass..." they came up to the large building. He had noticed the flag was raised in the court yard. "The Queen's home!" he smiled. Lars lookeed up and noticed very large chimenys on the top of the building. Considering it was summer, and the Queen's Palace he figured they'd be pretty clean. He climbed up the walls and made t to the roof. He peered inside one of the massive smoke holes. He dipped his hand inside and scraped it against the smooth wall. Not even a speck of dust came off the interior. Lars jumped up to the edge and crouched over it. "I call this one! Meet me down there", he said to Tala before plunging down into the building.

Tala jumped up after him and found another clean place to slide down through. She looked around and saw Lars two rooms away. She walked over to his side and looked at everything around them. She shoved him again for them comment he made earlier and then walked around the palace.

[Ellie]

"Hey, Tala?" he asked softly as to not alert any passing guards. "You want to scare the living sh.it out of someone?" he smiled mischeiviously. "Why not the Queen herself. She's probably in bed at this tiime of night anyway! We'll just keep to the shadows 'til she calls for her guards then crawl back up her chimeny!" he finsished with an even woder grin. "What'd you say?"
