Ellie cracked her knuckles, she had just finished playing her cello for what seemed like hours. No, it had been hours. She stood up and bent over. Swiping a silk cloth over the instrument, she gently put it in its case. Closing the latches, she picked it up and headed home.
Deciding in a split second she was slightly bored of home, she set out to find a theater. It wasn't hard to find. She peeked in and caught glimpses of a ballet in progress. The main character, playing Coppelia, was sitting down and her feet were turned outward. The rest of the stage was being danced on by lesser characters.
"You call that a turnout? I've seen ducks with better angles!" she said softly in a furious tone. Somebody shushed her. They said, "I don't see you up there dancing!"
She stood, positioning her feet into a 180 degree turnout. Then, she turned a perfect pirouette, "Let's see her do that," she said bluntly, and walked out. That part of the evening went by quickly and now she was back on the street. Humans irritated her so, but also facsinated her. They were complex and intruiging as well as stubborn.
She heard a dog crash into a trash can and hit the street. Running right away she slid in front of the alley. It was dark and insensitive looking., The walls were grimy and she didn't want to leave the streetlights glow. The dog was whimpering. She saw gleaming eyes directed straight at her and the dog. Slipping him into her arms, she growled under her bretah at the dogs. The theater was letting out now, bunches of people gathering aorund her. She couldn;t make her escape.
Remebering her cello case on her back she swung it outward at the dogs, they ran away. Pushing through the crowd without care, she whacked those who got in her way. Something stopped her dead in her tracks...no, not something...someone

There Aurora stood in the alley. She was wearing a long leather trench coat with her favorite pair of stiletto boots. She had just finished a meal and climbed out of the victim’s home window to crawl down the wall and land in her current location. The creature normally did not feed until a much later hour, but she was feeling lonely when she set out and this particular human had been a breeze to take down. Rory had come to London for a tad bit of adventure. Plus, she liked that Big Ben. She kept telling herself that she was not searching for him, but she often lied to herself.
Then a slight wind wafted the scent of the other toward her. Rory shifted her body to a more guarded position and took in the sight before her: a rather lovely vampire carrying a dog and what appeared to be an instrument case. Interesting…
“Well, hello there stranger,” Aurora uttered with a mock friendly tone and a smirk, “And what might your name be precious?”

"Call me Ellie, and you are?" ahe asked questioningly. Ellie was not sure who this fair vampire was but she was glad that she had run into such a girl. Letting down the dog, it stayed near her leg, quivering. She took her instrument case more firmly in her arms and prepared herself for an answer. Curious, Ellie thought, looks like she has just eaten. Normally, vampires don't eat this early. I wonder what the occasion is?

Aurora watched the other as she answered, set down the dog, and then looked at Rory questioningly. The vampire smirked proudly. There seemed to be a hint of something close to admiration behind the other’s eyes.
“The name is Aurora,” she said in a similar tone to her previous one, “May I ask why you have such a pathetic creature by your side? Is it yours? It could not possibly be a meal.”
Rory looked disdainfully at the puny dog. Then she looked back to the female called Ellie.
“Is there something you want? I shall be off now if not,” Rory said indifferently before she began to strut down the alley in the opposite direction of the other.

"No, as a matter a fact it isn't my dog. I was saving the poor helpless creature, it was being brutally attacked and I saw to it that it would be rescued. If I were ever to feed on a dog it wouldn't be this one, it would be one more worthy of death, perhaps say, his attackers?" Ellie stepped sideways and looked Aurora up and down. She seemed kind of saucy but kind on the inside.
"And I was just wondering what you were doing out so...early, sneaking out of a room. I usually tend to feed later on in the evening," she wanted to say somethng more but it was hard to fiure out what exactly to say to someone like this, "Still hungry? I could use a hunting partner," was what came out of her mouth.

Aurora couldn’t help but chuckle a bit at the vampire’s words. She wasn’t one to take pity on anyone or anything. Rory turned back to face this Ellie girl as she inquired what she herself was up to.
“As if that is any of your business,” she said rudely.
Aurora could tell the other was hesitating. She really did not like this chick.
“I’m more of a solo being,” the creature said bluntly with annoyance and again began to stride away, this time with no intention of turning back.

"Ya know," she chuckled, "your quite rude for someone who has had, say....100 something years to improve manners," Ellie was getting fed up with this vampire. Who was she? She was simply offering a companion. With no intention of being nice, Ellie followed the girl.
Stepping loudly in ankle high shoes, the leather was splashed with dew. The short stiletto heels clacked happily, if not snappily on the street. Her gittered tights sparkled mercilessly in the street lamp lights. Her long tunic covered a bit below the middle of her thighs. It was off the shoulder and was an emerald silk material.
Pausing to place her ear buds from her ipod in her ears, she clicked on shuffle. Boys will be Boys came on by Panic! At The Disco. She comensed to follow this young lady, she was curious....

{OoC: So so sorry about the delay. I’ve had a bit of computer trouble.}
The creature rolled her eyes at the comment the other made. You can take your manners and shove— was all that crossed Aurora’s mind before she heard the clackety-clack of the female’s boots behind her. With a great sigh of annoyance the vampire rounded on the unwanted follower, facing her with the utmost of annoyance and fire swelling in her eyes and emitting from her aura.
“What the hell do you want?! Stop following me or else you are in for it!” Rory fumed, positioned in a slight fighting stance.
